This place is horrible and expensive. They advertise that they are affordable and reasonable but they are not. The staff proceeded to try and have me do an x-ray w/o using gloves and I had to ask her to put them on. The $300 plan is overpriced as well. I just hate I didn't shop around prior to finding a better option. I also was told I needed a more expensive procedure but after getting a second opinion it wasn't needed at all. After sharing my frustrations with an associate they disclosed having their fillings fall out a couple times.Comfort Dental has much more reasonable prices and better service. I had the 1st appointment at 8. After checking in, I waited maybe 5-10 minutes before i was taken to my chair. I was there in and out in 1 hour. That included checking in, xrays, discussing dental work and payment options, numbing, a filling on 1 tooth and cleaning. Not bad!!!! Young, professional staff that are attractive at that! Mint dentistry knows what they are doing!! They would've had 5 stars if I had gotten the teeth whitener that they gave me 6 months ago at their Carrollton location. read more

Best dental experience I've had! The staff is very friendly and the space is clean and definitely more of a luxurious dentistry. Guests are able to watch Netflix or listen to music throughout their cleaning/visit, the room includes a massage chair, and they offer whitening strays! I must say my first experience was horrible. The Dental Tech appeared to know more than the Doctor. I was not informed on what was happening nor did I get any post op instructions. I had to go back at least twice because I couldn't chew on my right side after 2 weeks of getting some fillings. However on my last visit it was like night and day. The Dental Tech Ishatara was fantastic and Dr. Kim was great. He had to re do the work from the first Dentist and I was able to chew on the right side the next day. I love the concept and I believe MINT is a great practice however if I am unable to be seen by Dr. Kim or Ishatara I will reschedule until they are working. read more

I haven't been to the dentist in several years and I must say this location made my experience worth while. They also made me feel welcomed and comfortable. This location is very clean and has great staff. Shatara made me feel at home and made sure my doctor and hygienist took care of me. My hygienist was Leo and he took his time to clean my teeth and make sure I was comfortable. I'll try to start with a positive - Mint is a clean facility with fairly new equipment. Unfortunately that's about all I can say that's good about this place. If you have good insurance, like I do, be prepared for Mint to do as many additional procedures (without your consent) as possible that are covered under your insurance. I went in for a teeth cleaning - the one service I went in for was done very quickly and not thoroughly. They only used their drill, never used any picks because that would take longer - which means they're probably drilling off part of my tooth in addition to whatever else they were going for. The dental hygienist's work was never reviewed by the dentist. When you get done, be prepared to be told that you need additional dental work, and it's going to cost thousands of dollars - BUT WAIT they say, we can sign you up for our Mint Dentistry service plan and lower the costs. Oh, but then if you go and get a second opinion, amazingly the other dentist will say you don't have all the issues Mint says you did, and you won't need all the work Mint tried to sell you. This place felt like a marketing scam, and in my opinion tries to have people get dental work done that isn't needed. If you want quality service, and opinions you can trust, there are much better options in Dallas. read more

After having a bad experience at another dentist in Addison, I was very nervous going into my appointment at Mint. However, the staff at the front desk were so great, they helped with my nervousness right away. The dental hygienists and dentist that I saw there were really great. They asked me questions about my concerns, gave straightforward answers, didn't try to up-sell or make anything bigger than it needed to be. The dentist was proactive, smart, and helpful. Leo, the dental hygienist who performed my cleaning was very thorough, answered all my questions, gave good advice/tips, and I left there with great looking teeth. read more

I did not enjoy some of my visit. The front desk was friendly, as was Jeff. The woman who took my X-rays was very abrasive and had pretty bad bedside manner so it started my visit on a less than positive note. When explaining answers to questions like how to use the whitening trays she mumbled the "script" so fast I had no idea what she said and had to ask Jeff to go over it again. I've felt much more comfortable during X-rays and tray fittings at other dental offices, as well as other Mint locations. I also felt a bit pressured by the woman who came in and went over financial aspects of my upcoming work with me. Other Mint locations have been very quick to make me aware of different payment options including payment plans (Mint has some great options.) The dentist that examined me told me we would discuss wisdom tooth removal at a later time once my cleanings were on a more regular schedule, yet I am now receiving unsolicited calls and emails one day later asking if I'd like to schedule my removal per the dentist's referral even though we haven't yet discussed it. So I don't think I will return to this location. read more

MINT Dentistry's marketing team does an excellent job at marketing their company, but my first time experience left me with an awful impression of the Addison location. To start off my appointment was at 2:15 didn't leave until 6pm. Understandable though because I did have a lot work done, I got a few filling replacements and they fixed my two front teeth. The work done on me was extremely sloppy. My teeth looked uneven, they weren't smoothed out so it was cutting my tongue and my teeth felt very thin(as if they were going to break). I scheduled another appointment to get them fixed at 9am, they called and asked if I could push it back to 8am and I had no problem with that. The sooner they start the sooner I leave. I get there at 7:55am and they had me waiting on the chair until 9am, which was ridiculous because they had no reason to push me back if they still had me waiting. Before the appointment was set, the manager assured me I would have the head doctor work on my teeth this time and it wouldn't take longer than the 1st time, WRONG. I got the same woman and I missed 4 hours of work again. The doctor was very nice but I felt like a guinea pig. I can assure you the doctor was not confident in her work at all. The head doctor walked in occasionally to correct her work. I didn't volunteer myself to be practiced on at all. My teeth are facing problems I didn't have before and they look uneven . I'm very patient and understanding, so for me to cry out of frustration is very rare. I was ready to walk out, but the manager convinced me to go back to the room to have the head doctor look at the work done on me. The manager said she would be frustrated too in my position, yet she was the person who assured me the head doctor would work on my teeth, but didn't follow through with that. The head doctor told me she had to redo them, due to it not being done correctly again, wasting more of time. I have another set appointment but I'm very upset with the service this company provided. read more

I had a great experience when I was there, but now I have been waiting three months for a permanent crown. I called at the 6 week mark and they said they would have it around the 8 week mark. Now I have called at the 3 month mark and Eric was suppose to call me back after he looked in the back for it. Still no call back I called the next day and the calls go to call center in Plano. They informed me they got a hold of the district manager and that they would be calling me within 10 minutes. It has been over an hour, talk about over promising and under delivering. read more

I gave this location a try sense it had decent reviews. What a mistake I made! I arrived and wasn't seen until almost an hour after my appointment and on top of that, I am asked if I wanted water, to which I replied yes and I never saw the girl again. The worst part of the entire experience was the dentist, who told me she would replace my two fillings in the front, but then decides to change her mind and push me into getting 5k worth of veneers on teeth that didn't even have anything wrong with them. The dental hygienist could have been more polite as well. Don't get me wrong, I am not the queen of flossing, but I do my part and after his many, many obnoxious lectures, he then tells me "Oh, you're teeth are pretty clean" Yeah, I already know that. I called to speak to someone about my treatment plan, and guess what? She hung up in my face and did not bother to call back. The staff here is completely rude and extremely unprofessional. 1. I am attempting another Mint, 40 miles away in hopes they will do the dilling 2. If it doesn't work out, then I am done with Mint all together. 3. Worst. Experience. EVER! DO NOT go to this location! To the business owner: I was perfectly fine with paying out of pocket with or without my insurance and I explained that. It was $150. The issue was that I was told the fillings would be done and had even paid for them before the dentist changed her mind about doing them. I do not feel comfortable having my teeth shaved down, nor paying 5k for a service that I did not need. That should have been respected and it was not. I should have just went to the Carrollton location because they said they would do the fillings. Addison was just closer. read more

been coming in here and they used to have a good service but when my wife came and she came in 15mins late but they had a grace period of 15mins, so technically they can still see her, also we did fill out the new pt form twice but chelsea was insisting that they never had it and shes pointing out that we are a liar, upon checking they're system, it went to plano location, so we never lied plus how can the system schedule u for a 2 location? it wasnt our fault, so in the end my wife wasted her time and this place doesnt have any consideration esp we live far!! they're staff doesnt have any heart, so they are claiming they are understaff, so was it customers fault??...NO.. i will make sure to reach this concern to approriate person! read more

Dr. Urvashi Lal was simply AWESOME, I would recommend her to anyone! I had 3 teeth pulled which were hard to remove, and slightly painful due to an infection in one of the teeth. But Dr. Lal maintained her composure, was patient and very comforting. Despite the situation she took her time and made sure I was OK. After waiting in the lobby 25 min PAST my appointment time, the girls at the front kept talking about how the dentist was PASSED OUT on the floor and couldn't take patients. PLEASE!!! STAY AWAY!!! This place is terrible, at the end of the day, they just care about getting your money and not actually caring about the issue. I will admit they do try to win you over on the first visit. They offer you an option to watch tv while your waiting in the dentist chair. This is only to distract from the amount of time they take. I had an appointment at 8:15 in the morning for a cleaning. The dentist convinced me that I needed a filling even though I told her I had no problems and had no issue with my tooth. I believed since she was the dentist she knew what she was talking about. I ended up not leaving until a little after noon that day. After the first day I immediately started feeling pain where the filling was. I call them and tell them this where they tell me I just need a bite adjustment. I come in and they tell me that my bite is fine and that I just need to come back in a week if the pain doesn't go away. I come back two more times after this where they continue to come up with some other excuse. They tell me my gums are just sensitive on that side of my mouth due to brushing. I continue to insist that it hurts when I try to chew where the filling is. All the dentist does is put something to desensitize the area momentarily. That is the last time I saw them. Not only did they charge me for "emergency visits" for the problem they created and continued to tell me to follow up in a week. They refused to take ownership for the problem they created and actually fix it! I got so fed up after the multiple failed attempts with them where they told me I would not be charged I stopped going to them. And they still charged me. These people are not only crooks just caring about the money before the patient, they refuse to take accountability for their actions and continue to prey on the unsuspecting patient. I will never go to another Mint Dentistry and I hope my review will help someone else from falling victim to their scams. read more
