After driving on the interstate the next day, two tires were missing the lead at the end of my trip. I did notice the drive changed during the trip. Visited Mavis location in different town and they rebalanced the tires. All 4 have lead now and drives great!!!! When this Decatur location phoned me to say the tire rotation and balance was complete but my battery cranking power was only half of the charge and was a danger. They recommended to replace the battery. Mavis battery price was too high. They asked me to buy it and bring it to them to install. DAH, Auto Zone will install for free and give me a core credit that Mavis would not honor. Auto Zone tested the battery and surprise, it was producing the maximum crank for the year old battery!!! It's end of March and battery is still performing great. WILL NOT GET RECOMMENDED EVER - too many other choices around to use this location for anything. I spoke with all three staff members who worked there, so they all tried and failed with service and honesty.

He went to an auto parts store and was told what the problem might possibly be. Since he had to work, he took it to USA used tires. Told them problem and they said they could fix it. Part would cost $45.50 plus labor ($125.00 total). After replacing part he told them about, they called, said other things were wrong and bill jumped to $360. He paid bill, got in truck, brake pedal went to floor. Not fixed. Called them next morning about it not being fixed and took it back. This time they replaced even more parts without calling and bill is another $113. The part they replaced the first day was bad and when they put another in, brakes worked fine. They replaced parts not needed. That $45 part cost us $473 at the end. We regret using this place. Next time, my husband will take the time and replace it himself.

I immediately brought it to the attention of the employee who performed the service, and instead of taking responsibility, he tried to argue with me. It has now been exactly one month, and I have heard nothing--no follow-up, no replacement, and no resolution. This experience shows a lack of accountability and poor customer service. My bill was $129 " For a works oil change and fix a flat " The works oil change at lynn layton and in the lobby at Quick lane is $74.95 + tax = $82 When i take my Truck to Lynn Layton Ford for service my bill is $82 So they charged me $47 to fix a flat and didn't even rebalance the tire ? It didn't cost me anything i used my Ford pass points But i could have had two works oil change done for what Quick lanes charged me for one !!!!!!!!! They need to change the name to SLOW Lanes There was nothing about Quick about their service !!!!!! I will never ever take my truck or any other auto to Quick lanes !!!! Ever again!
