Ok...now that I've been to both Houston locations, I'm gonna have to say, the 1960 location is by far superior. The 1960 location is actually bigger, a "better selection" and better customer service. Although this Chinatown location may seem popular since it's in a better location, the customer service seriously lacks quite a bit. I noticed right off the bat that when I was at the check out, they didn't offer you to register to get points. Whilst the other location did. A lot of the stuffed animals on display are only for display. So that really sucks. I hate that the 1960 location is so far. Like almost things towards Spring. Otherwise I'd frequent that location for sure. This current location is small. This is no Daiso but as I take time to think, I'd prefer Daiso. I could do without the plushies. read more

I'm so glad they opened a Miniso on the southwest side of town! They had a ton of cute merch and everything was fully stocked. They also had a few snack and drink items that looked good. Maybe next time I'll try them. I'll be coming back here soon. read more

This is the cutest little gem hidden in the neighborhood. It has nice plushys, that are so soft, hair barrettes, and other cute themed collections fir little girls. The store is organized, and clean. You would never expect it. Prices are reasonable. The girls at the front of the store are super friendly. read more

They fell from my bathroom countertop and a piece broke. This store doesn't sell earrings. I was curious to see it when I was in the area. I bought an eyeliner and mascara in Mexico City. I was surprised to find a Miniso opened here! Super cute plushies and character goods! It's not super big but it's well stocked so it took us a while to look through all their items. Prices were expensive for some day to day items so don't go crazy on buying everything--No need to spend $6 on sponges that are $1.50 at Daiso. Super adorable store but the staff is terrible. I asked to redeem points for my purchase but the cashier in a white polo said that it was too late (even though I didn't make any payment yet). Then I realized when already gone that the worker redeemed the points on their account because on the receipt there was a member account number listed along with the current balance of points. This is truly unprofessional and is enough to warrent a 1* review despite having cute and affordable items because why would you go to a store where you aren't valued. read more

Loved this place. Took my fiance here for a brief visit, had no idea there was a Miniso at the Commons. It's kind of hidden and tucked away behind a Walgreens. But the lights and decor are easy to spot a mile away. They got all sorts of co-branded stuff like Disney (hats are my fav), Sanrio, Marvel, We Bare Bears, Cartoon Network, etc. anything from plushies to mousepads to stationary to snacks and more. If you been to a Daiso, this is similar except it's a bit smaller and it has cobranded items from well known brands. Apparently, they have a larger counterpart over on 1960. Be sure to register for Miniso Rewards online or using the QR code in-store. At the cash register, the cashier asked for my phone number and I provided it so they were able to find me in the system. They take debit, credit, or contactless mobile payment. Highly recommend this place and will be back again. read more

This place is super cute! My friends and I came in to check out all the stuffed plushies they have here. And they did NOT disappoint. They have a huge left wall FULL of unique and cute plushies. These were high quality and full of stuffing too. They were all SO cute and unlike any I've seen at other small shops. They ranged from We Bare Bears to cat sushi to turtles, pigs, and so much more. I've never seen so many aesthetic pastel plushies in one place. There's also so much Marvel merch if you're a super marvel fan too. They also have towels, perfumes and cologne, lashes, phone cases, Japanese pens, diffusers, and so many more random things. Most of the people who came in walked out with plushies, and we were the same group as well LOL. It wasn't long before some favorite plushies were actually cleared from the shelf too! Definitely recommend if you are looking for quality aesthetic plushies. Prices are pretty moderate for them too! P.S. I was so excited that they have one in Houston! The one in Vegas was super cute and I was hooked! This location was kinda weird and sketchy but the store was very clean and just so adorable and the amount of Sanrio stuff my goodness... the child in me went crazy! I love how they offer makeup, home organization, kitchen and so much stuff!!! I haven't gone to the other Miniso that's closer to Spring, so I can't really compare, but I did decide to go to the one in Bellaire. Honestly the store was cute and quite clean and orderly, just fairly empty being only my family and one other customer. Everything seemed pretty untouched. One thing I'd say that was "bad" or disappointing was the lack of Sanrio stuff I was hoping to find and the lack of customer service available. l was excited to have something like Miniso so close to home due to their cute stuff. My mom records stuff wherever she goes, she uploads them sometimes in her vlogs. As there was no sign forbidding recording, she did here too. Our fault that we should have asked too but it slipped our mind. Security brought us out to tell that and that we could shop more, but we were escorted out again saying the owners told us to leave. I wanted to look around more as it was my first time there. I understand where they are coming from but pretty humiliating in-front of so many people at a grand opening. read more

idk why they even bothered on this miniso location. first off all, they have very little sanrio items, which considering the "aesthetic" this store kinda gives off is very surprising. secondly, there was this one visit i made to this miniso and they asked me to put on my mask when the last visit i took to miniso they did not make me put my mask on. HELLOOO?? WHAT? if you wanted your customers to put their mask on, maybe next time mandate masks when you open it. but i did get some cute stationary. lastly,, it changes its collections (the collections are like collaborations with other popular companies) about every 2 or 1 week(s) which i think is kinda weird but it is what it is,, p.s sometimes the store can smell stinky. read more
