It's packed with a charming selection of small gifts, from cute plush animals and stylish accessories to all sorts of other unique finds. The prices are pretty average for the area, so you're not paying a premium for the boutique experience. The real appeal is that they stock several items I hadn't seen anywhere else, which makes finding a unique gift much easier. Browsing here is a genuinely pleasant experience, made even better by the friendly and helpful staff. Overall, it's a really nice spot to wander through if you're looking for a thoughtful present or just want to treat yourself to something a little different. It's the kind of local shop that makes gift-giving easy and enjoyable.

If you have somewhere to go and in need of a cheap lipstick replacement, then Five Below got your back with brands like L.A Girl + Wet & Wild. Gotta warn you though, it's a dangerous place (for your wallet of course). Great variety/selection of things in the store for both adults and kids. Most stuff are very cheap and affordable compared to other retailer stores like Target and Walgreens. I am a frequent shopper at Five Below. It never fails and I repeat, I've never left empty-handed from 5 Below since I'm kinda always guilty of buying it afterwards. That's why my eyes tend to light up whenever I see new Squishmallow plushies on the shelves. High quality material + squishy soft all around. Five Below is probably the cheapest place to get your Squishmallow plushies. Even though they've raised the price from $5 to $6 starting 2026 due to inflation + high demand + popularity. If you ever do need an emergency phone case, you can get one for $7 here. Can we talk about the $5 or less snacks from chips + candy + chocolate to cookies? I always buy all of the crunchy snacks and my favorite Chupa Chups lollipops from the Mix & Match Candy Section just for the awesome value of 10 pieces for $1.50 (15¢ per candy). Now, tell me where else can you get twenty pieces like that for under $4?!? Additionally, I love browsing through the aisles of stationary section where they keep the cutest Squishmallow & Sanrio stickers plus Pokemon themed notebooks/planners. Who can resist stickers?? I feel like a kid again at a candy store whenever I stop by any Five Below locations in Queens + Manhattan + Brooklyn. Everything is vibrant and there's so much to see and decide what to buy. Staff is super helpful + patient + friendly. Five Below accepts both cash and card as payment from customers.

We came here 4 times now and I always end up spending a fortune. They have tons of Manga (comics/ graphic novels originated from Japan), Squishmallows, Funko Pop! as well as CDs, vinyls, clothing, collectibles, gifts and other comics + books. I'd say it's a pretty cool, interesting store for both adults and kids but also very pricey. Just realized, comics are not cheap. If you're a fan, then I guess it's worth it. He always picks out about 3 to 4 Manga every time, which ranges from $10-$20 each and some plushes & keychains. The Squishmallow keychains are $13, medium & large sized Squishmallow plushes ranges from $20-$60. Some are extremely overpriced due to the levels of rarity. The blue penguin I just bought today that my daughter really wanted retails for $15, their selling it for $36. Overall, still a good store to check out and the staff are helpful. Fyi (9/11): their currently having a buy 1 get 1 50% off all Manga and graphic novels deal.

Hmmm... I thought let's takes a look. Pop-Mart is located here in New York City in the downtown Financial District within the immense Oculus. The Blind Box Series of collectible figurines and dolls featured on Instagram gave me the FOMO. In the shop I observed lots of kiddos going cray cray cray and their parents whispering, "Calm down now." Okay, I now get it. Good capitalist marketing concept, Pop-Mart. IMHO - with purging stuff. Thus, no need to collect more stuff, even if it's CUTE. Unless my Goddaughters have a craving for these, but I doubt it since they're in college now ... Anyway, for you loyal collectors of such items please, Go For It! Enjoy your Labubus and Blind Box collectibles galore! 4 Stars

Easily accessible by mass transit via different train routes. Staff members are friendly + helpful + patient. Paying area (cashier) towards the back in a corner. Other character figures + plushies + blind boxes + bag charms are being sold throughout the store. The only ones I'm familiar with are Sanrio Characters + Ted the Bear + Labubus. So many other ones I have absolutely no idea about. This place is great for people of all ages (kids and adults alike). If you are interested in collecting and would like to try your luck at certain blind box characters, then this is the spot for you to drop by while spending time at the Oculus.

POP MART is officially bringing its "THE MONSTERS 10th Anniversary World Tour" to New York City…read more This marks the first time the exhibit is available in the U.S., following massive success in cities like Paris, Tokyo, and Shanghai. NYC hosts a massive 6,000-square-foot Labubu exhibition this summer -- featuring 9 galleries - from Friday, July 17 through August 31. It will be hosted at 423 W. 14th St., New York, NY 10014. At the gallery, I got an up-close look at initial sketches of characters like LABUBU, ZIMOMO, and TYCOCO, and see exactly how the series has evolved over the last decade. Every corner of the exhibition celebrates LABUBU's remarkable journey over the past ten years. There was a room full of Labubus from the Exciting Macaron series and Big Into Energy series, short clip about Puka, a clip about the creator of THE MONSTERS, Kasing Lung, himself. Entry costs starting at $20 for Regular (ages 10+) and $10 for Child (ages 10 and under). VIP ticket includes an exclusive bundle valued at over $130. All base entry tickets include a commemorative gift and all attendees will have the opportunity to purchase limited-edition art and merchandise. The commemorative gift included a souvenir ticket, postcard, and super mini labubu pendant. There was an interactive station for the postcard before the gift shop. I was able to stamp in a picture and the color. After the last exhibit, we exit through a massive gift shop packed with the entire 10th Anniversary collection. Here, I showed my wristband and got the VIP bundle. The VIP bundle included The Monsters 10th Anniversary Exhibition Limited Vinyl Blister Pack, Classic Mini Labubu Keychain, The Monsters 10th Anniversary Exclusive-Tote Bag, Fridge Magnet or Acrylic Shaker Pendant, and The Monsters x Scotch Brite Brand Collab Cleaning Sponge. I got the Fridge Magnet. The designs were selected at random. What an unforgettable day visiting MONSTERS BY MONSTERS NOW AND THEN in New York City! I truly can't believe its been 10 years since Kasing Lung created The Monsters and how popular they have grown since then.

No lines, no wait! You just get there + staff explains & gives you a little demo + they hand you the products in the cutest oversize black-and-white striped fuzzy makeup pouch...and then you can leave. You'll get a mint-flavored popsicle as well. Hours: Fri (8/7) - 1-7pm Sat (8/8) - 1-6pm Address: Domino Square 12 South 3rd Street (Kent Ave) Brooklyn, NY 11249 When I got there around 4:15pm on Friday, they have run out of all the popsicles for the day. But, the brand still had quite a few makeup pouches of 3 full-size products to hand out. The station where they were doing the product demos had stopped working. That part was closed down. So in the end, it turned out to be the quickest 2-second in-and-out pop up I have ever been to!!! It's okay, I rather TRESemmé still has full-size products than the opposite instead. It's already super hot and very humid with the sun beaming down on you when walking 20 mins in the direction of south to the water from the Bedford Ave Station. It's not close to the train, but you gotta do what you've to do if you wanna get the freebies. Last thing I need is to head out all the way to Domino Park just for a popsicle because they've run out of the goodies. The brand reps are super friendly and not snobby at all. Everyone is really energetic and hyped about their job. I noticed that most of the staff have curly hair to fit the concept of curly-haired products which they're promoting for TRESemmé. Definitely go check it out since 8/8 is the last day. Just can't say enough great things about this pop up itself in general.
