Came here during our trip to NYC. The location on 5th Ave was very busy and stocked full of a variety of Lego sets. The associates in the store were pleasant and eager to provide great service, which they did. The intricate Lego models were awesome: a dragon overhead that seemed to weave in and out of the wall, Lego children that graced the floor and host of other statues. They had an area where you could take a photo and develop a Lego set from that! We purchased an anime Lego set , which was a great value, and got a free gift. The value of the sets varied according to the complexity and popularity of the item. All in all, a well stocked store where you can find most of the items you may be looking for.

Yes, one of them is Lego but I can't tell which one is which...

Ever read the Japanese manga "Kimi no Koto ga Daidaidaidaidaisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo" or "The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You"? It's an over-the-top romantic comedy about a lucky schlub named Ajio whom, due to a careless deity and a particularly good scene in a Hayao Mizayaki movie got blessed with 100 soulmates, and it became his life's mission to love every single one of them equally at the same time (or they will literally die if their affections were not reciprocated). Well, I never came close to having 100 girlfriends (I was, and still remain a serial monogamist) but I do have close to 100 Lego sets, one significant other for over 5 years, the emotional wisdom / scars of a few ladies with whom I had strong past connections, and some who I had to figuratively kick to the curb for coming between me and my Legos. Jane, Sandra and Nicole? Not sorry. Don't ever come between a man and his lifelong addiction to Nordic plastic blocks. So, as a techie working in silicon alley, my office is close to the Flatiron Lego store...but ironically enough I don't buy a lot of sets there. Between Lego's pick-a-brick online service, its Bricklink 3rd party bricks marketplace (and its BrickLink Studios design software), its Shop@Home service and the various 3rd party websites (like brickset or the new elementary) I usually find out about new Lego sets, double point days or free giveaways before most people, and since I also frequent Target or Costco warehouses, I often know more about available sets there than Lego's own retail operations. Since I don't enjoy carrying Lego sets home, I would often ship them directly to my house. Of course, I do have the occasional date night with the missus at Eataly next door (I made a promise with the missus that if I ever enter the C-suite we'll celebrate at Eleven Madison Park...which is at this point a very long shot and a recurrent joke that hurts) so we'll walk in and treat the place like a Lego showroom - the missus loves the botanical collection since it jives well with our interior decorative style, which she semi-sarcastically refer to as "Lego Jungle Cat condo garden server farm". I usually gun for their Ideas or Creators set (since I do custom designs). Before I buy a set I usually try to get an idea how it'll jive in own home, how well our 2 furbabies (*meow*) interact with them, and whether I'll love having them. The sad thing is that more often than not I'll be surprised by something that came in which I entirely forgot about, and is still sitting in a box unopened and un-assembled, waiting for my undivided time and attention. So, should you buy Legos here? Well, out of the 2 Manhattan Lego locations this is the lesser known one (the other is at West 51st and 5th) with less selection of sets, but it's also the one that's more likely to have sets in stock. Their display setup tends to get the new ones later than the other, but whatever they have on display, they'll tend to have. Service is friendly without it being too intrusive, and it's nice to be offered freebies for dropping "stupid money" on Legos. That being said, if you are planning to break up with a girlfriend over Legos, it'a slightly less embarrassing for her to do it at the Lavazza cafe next door at Eataly...although sometimes, you get to choose the event but not the venue. Just remember that ABS plastics endure even if your affection might fade...

It's amazing what you can do with Lego. This Lego Store located in the Flatiron District and decorated with Lego figures. The attraction are life-sized figures of Wicked characters, Elphaba and Galinda in the likeness of Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. It's truly an art. Sadly there wasn't any information on how long it took to make these. Besides all the figures, this is a Lego store, so people can build mini figures and shop. All priced according to the size and amount of bricks.

This is not the flagship store but it's an impressive store near the Flatiron in its own right. There's even some New York City specific decor like the Statue of Liberty lego display in one corner and other lego displays that pay homage to the vibrant diversity of NYC. There's a wide selection of lego kits as well as a neat row of Pick & Build parts. Staff are plenty here and can help answer questions you may have.

At the corner of 23rd and 5th Ave, this is a gorgeous lego store. It's a huge store, very clean and friendly staff. Different themes of lego toys are sold here. Few good ones I noticed are Marvel characters, Harry potter, super mario, and minecraft. There are few ones specific to New York City. There's a huge wall to pick your own lego pieces. Another section to build your own character. In the back they have self mosaic maker. Prices are decent for it to be in NYC. It has iconic lego structures like Statue of liberty flame, a dragon, Super Mario, Transformers and so many more. Very popular with tourists, always heavy crowd inside. Sometimes the line wraps around the store to get in.

Smaller sized store with cool Lego installations. Very cool expensive items available -definitely worth a stop. Some affordable stuff as well. We got some sale items for the kids. Make sure to stop in the room off the main floor to see the installations.

As always a favorite amongst young and not so young who grew up with this fun, intricate and creative toy! This location has an extensive collection and the most helpful staff! The displays and decor of the store is just admirable. Prices are comparable to other locations. The build your own options are among our favs!

I literally walked in the windy rain for 40 minutes to get here! Totally worth it! This Lego Store location is right next to the Flatiron Building in Manhattan and across a street from Madison Square Park. For a toy collector/Lego enthusiast such as myself, this place was an absolute must do. You get to see a bunch of very cool Lego displays all throughout the store. Naturally, there are plenty of Lego sets available at retail. If you don't want to buy anything too large due to concerns with flying (like me) they do have smaller sets and keychains and magnets available. I did end up buying 2 small sets and a magnet. lol I couldn't resist. The employees were very friendly and great with answering any and all questions we had. If you're a Lego fan, then this is a must-see location for you! 4 stars!

my experience with LEGOs as a kid was Frankensteining together vehicles, figures, buildings, etc. while not putting together the actual object that the LEGO set was for...creativity wins. the LEGO Store in the Flatiron District at 23rd & Fifth Avenue is a wonderland whether you want to find sets for your favorite Lego sets based Star Wars, Harry Potter, Disney, other franchises, or famous structures, vehicles and more OR just buy a ton of loose blocks to pieces together for your own creations...the LEGO store has plenty of both. the store is mostly an open space with different difficulty-level sets lining the shelves and their are bins of loose LEGOs placed throughout if that is your building preference. the space is really well maintained, brightly lit, not cluttered but neatly organized, and despite the crazy foot traffic always looks relatively clean and open. the staff here is really friendly and helpful. they clearly are LEGO fans and understand the ins and outs of building with LEGOs. definitely, talk to them if you have questions. pay attention to those age difficulty levels--some of the sets are insanely complex and aren't for the faint of heart err, patience. truth be told, i have probably bought more LEGO sets for adults than kids---arrested development, am i right? or perhaps my friend circle is filled with adults stuck in childhood nostalgia/ hmmm, that's a story for another review. beyond being able to buy LEGO sets, the LEGO Store seems to always have different building events or workshops for kids and adults when i have been there shopping or looking around. the store definitely has a buzz of that puzzle-solving creative energy and fun as people are figuring things out or building things at these in-store events. this store is pretty much always superbusy. it's near multiple subways, in a shopping hub neighborhood, frequented by tourists, etc. so don't be surprised by lines out the door especially as the holiday season approaches. the store definitely is a little calmer post-holiday and easier to shop in. LEGO Store is for everyone--just don't be a blockhead...have fun and don't step on them barefoot...OUCH!

With the reduction of toys stores in general around the country, Target and Walmart are the best place to view Lego statues or building sets for kids to view. But t really enjoy the creativity of Lego, you have to visit a LEGO store. Lego stores are now across the country and you will find one in your area, but this one in NYC is one of the best. For Lego enthusiasts, these stores are the only place for you to find the exclusive sets. Sets that are built with over 1000 pcs and are hard to find. Plus you will only get the bonus sets at the store - that the the sets they give you when you purchase over $100, etc. But with all these benefits you may ask why should I visit this store over other Lego stores? Well that is for all the additional builds that only exist in this store. They have some special large statues that are made specifically only for this store. There is a all of statues from the 1900 to 2010 that show all the different Lego themes. As well as some very cool statues that they change every few months.

My friend and I were sitting in the park as I finished my Shake Shack lunch when I spied my little eye on the Flatiron Lego store. If you know me, you know I'm pretty much obsessed with all things Lego. I was ready to b line it right to them. I asked my friend if he'd go with me and he was totally in. We walked right over and I was super stoked to find out they gave out the Lego passports at this location. I know, hand me my super dork award! I have a London Lego passport but obvi didn't have it with me on this spur of the moment work trip, so I got a new one. I love destination Lego stores. Being from LA, I adore seeing the specialty Legos they have built in the stores. This New York location had a massive Statue of Liberty. She was gorgeous. I bought a small Statue of Liberty keychain and a little NYC taxi cab to put together. I love Legos, and this store does not disappoint. If you are in the city with kids or just a kid at heart, it's definitely worth a visit.

Very cool. Lots of legos, a build your own station, key chains, special NYC box sets. A lego lover would love it here

This store is amazing to look at. Everywhere you turn, there are huge lego displays of everything you can think of, even the subway station entrance! I couldn't help staring at each one.

I walked into a store that is essentially one large room, and the density of product on display meant navigating it during a busy period required some patience, but the selection within that compact space was broader than the size suggested. The Korean literature section covers both Korean language and English language editions across a range of genres, which makes it genuinely useful for anyone studying the language or looking for titles that are difficult to find at general bookstores in the city. I saw children's books in Korean, well stocked. The K pop side of the store covers albums, photocards, posters, keychains, stickers, and merchandise across a wide range of artists, with BTS having a particularly strong presence historically alongside newer groups. Pricing runs higher than what I would pay ordering online or finding the same items at a larger retailer, which is the standard trade off for a specialty shop in Manhattan. Album prices in particular can be steep, though sale events bring them down to more competitive territory. Individual accessory items like stickers and bookmarks are priced at a premium relative to their size, so going in with a sense of what I am willing to spend helps avoid sticker shock at the register. The store is a reliable stop for anyone looking for Korean books or K pop merchandise in a physical retail setting in New York, with the caveat that the pricing and the crowd level are both factors worth knowing about before I go.

I walked into a space that covers a lot of ground, from snacks and drinks to beauty products, home goods, and collectibles, and the density of what is on display makes it easy to spend more time browsing than I planned. The snack selection is the strongest draw and covers an impressive range. I saw Asian versions of familiar American snacks sitting alongside Japanese and Korean originals, and the drink section downstairs is broad enough that finding something I have not tried before is a near certainty. The variety of drinks, many with anime or character branding, reflects a buying approach that goes beyond the standard convenience store selection. The beauty and skincare section upstairs is well stocked with Korean and Japanese brands that are not widely available at American drugstores. I browsed through everything from face wash to sheet masks and specialty treatments, and the prices are competitive for imported products of this type. Blind boxes occupy their own significant section, and the selection across different series is one of the better in the city, with reasonable pricing relative to what the same items cost at specialty toy stores. Home goods, toys, collectibles, and kawaii accessories fill the remaining floor space. For a one stop shop for Korean and Japanese lifestyle goods, snacks, and beauty products in Koreatown, TESO Life delivers a broad and browsable experience that rewards repeat visits.

So it was the first Saturday in May which to comic book geeks both far and…read morewide means "Free Comic Book Day" and oddly enough I was completely in the unaware about this comic store only a few hours earlier from my walking into the place. My learning about it was fortuitous as I had just left the famed Forbidden Planet and began talking to a nice family of fellow collectors about the packet of comic books that we had just received as a part of FCBD. We talked about where each of us were heading next and while I said Midtown Comics near Grand Central was my next stop they replied "Montasy Comics" was theirs. A quick Google search found the location and away I went. So the store is quite easy to get too but it might be something that you walk right past once you are in the vicinity since its not on the ground level and is instead upstairs. There is an elevator and stairs but I opted for the elevator. Once inside I immediately loved the layout of the place. There were numerous glass cases of collectible trading cards in the front where the staff usually is and while I am not one for those things they did seem to have an ample supply. Towards the end on opposing sides were racks and racks of new and recent comic books along with a myriad of collected editions and even scores of Funko Pops. If you collect the Pops, you're likely going to find a few that you like at Montasy Comics. The FCBD Stuff was being handed out by one of the staff in the rear of the shop and everything was already in bags to make this an easy free transaction. Sometimes, the free issues are all laid out for folks to pick and choose from but in this case it was not that way. I didn't go through anything and would save that reveal for a fun YouTube video but either way it felt like a decent amount of issues were in the bag and that is always nice to see. Generally with FCBD its nice to also try and make a purchase since while this event is free to customers the shops have to pay for all of the books. I was looking for a copy of "Sister Imperator" from Dark Horse Comics but they had no idea what I was talking about. It's an independent release about a Ghost band connected character but I digress. There was an upstairs but I didn't explore that and also they had a number of tables set up in the center of the store where they hold Magic and I guess Pokemon tournaments along with any other of the popular TCG (trading card games for the newbies). The visit was brief but overall a positive one. I will try to visit them again in the future if I am over there. I saw some complaints about high prices or lack of a refund on something that broke when the purchaser was putting it together and all I can say on that is when something becomes rare based on being limited or hard to get it will be more costly. As far as breakage during assembly, I've often found that it was due to improper practices by friends or even myself. A shop doesn't owe me restitution by my breaking something and that is how it goes. Happy Collecting my Friends

Customers can find a limited yet decent selection of things like electronics, groceries, beauty and skincare/makeup, hygiene related products etc in each of their specific sections/aisles. The designs on greeting cards looked lovely. Some things were on sale like cat food - $10 for 12 cans. You just gotta stroll around to find out. It's convenient to have a Target in Midtown/next to the major train lines. Maybe I will stop by again, hopefully the service from employees will be better next time.
