My son enjoyed the room with the led lights hanging from the ceiling, creating a rain of light effect. He was mesmerized by lights falling down and up and then side to side at the same time. He didn't want to leave the room and just watched in awe. The entire experience for us was about an hour. A nice break to get yourself recharged for the day.

During my visit, they were running the Maestros and the Machines themed experience. Overall, it was just okay. There were definitely more rooms than I had expected, which was a nice surprise, but I wouldn't say the experience was worth the price. I was lucky to get the bogo deal which made it more worth it. There were a couple of highlights like the ball pit and especially the room with the sand like mateial. Those moments really brought out the child in myself. Unfortunately, a lot of the other rooms felt underwhelming. The 4D room, didn't live up to its expectation. Another downside was the lack of staff engagement. It didn't seem like they were paying much attention or enforcing any of the rules. For example, visitors were supposed to wear shoe covers in certain areas, but many people didn't and the staff didn't seem to care at all. Overall, it had a few fun moments, but I left feeling like it didn't quite live up to the hype.

There were so many interactive elements and we all loved the confetti room. You're also given a QR code where you can scan it and get copies at the end (after purchasing them). The location in Soho is fun, with so many great shops and restaurants nearby. The hit of the place was the ball pool at the end (again, similar to the sprinkle pool at the Museum of Ice Cream). My kids spent hours here. The ball pool kindof smelled like poop. Not gonna lie, it was definitely a stinky spot. There was a sign nearby that explained the balls were disinfected by some type of filtration system. Okay! Regardless of the poop smell, we all had a great time! And used lots of hand sanitizer afterwards.

This is specifically concerning the museum of the American Indian on Bowling Green in NYC…read more I did enjoy this museum. They have many wonderful artifacts to show you what Native American life was like. Many clothing items over 100 years old. A few poignant stories, like the story of Ishi, a Yaha Indian, possibly the last of his tribe, who chose to live in a human zoo rather than return to civilization or the wilderness. Beautiful artwork. I give it four stars because first of all, should we have these artifacts? I appreciate them, but were these acquired appropriately and are the respective tribes ok with them being in the Smithsonian? I would appreciate transparency on this. Also, while it touches on it at some parts of colonialism, overall it glosses over the crimes committed against Native Americans. And tells nothing (that I could find) about boarding schools, reservations, and how they still fight oppression today. There are also some artifacts and exhibits on Central American/South American Indians like the Mayans. Some beautiful carved wooden figures. Since this branch is in New York, there is a section on native Americans in New York. There is also an exhibit on Native American Art, which I enjoyed. It had a lot of contemporary and pop art pieces that really changed my perception of Native Americans. I always picture them as so solemn and proud. Some of these pieces were colorful and silly, and I loved that. Architecture is gorgeous. Admission is free, so through its really only one floor, it's worth a stop if you're in the area.

There are three or four large rooms of clothing and accessories on display. Beautiful designs. The museum has the subway right at the front door. It's located close to food spots and Battery Park. A lot of history in the neighborhood. The building is a great piece of work. The ceilings and rooms are great for taking pictures. There are Federal Offices located in the building and the New York branch of the National Archives. Lots of computers if you want to do some research. They also have a nice display of historical documents. All of the employees and security guards are very nice. I love Native American Indians. I love to go visit the museum as often as I am able. Everyone should go at least once. Very educational experience.

It was originally installed in 1968 at Broadway in Lower Manhattan. The Red Cube is a public art piece by the Japanese American artist Isamu Noguchi. The sculpture is not a perfect cube though! It's a distorted, elongated rhomboid that balances on one of its corners with an opposite point. The composition is red painted steel and aluminum! It's quite fascinating, especially surrounding all of the skyscrapers in lower Manhattan! It's located across from Zucotti Park, and is considered a landmark within the Financial District. When I had visited on a Thursday evening after work, there were a lot of tourists and even food vendors nearby! Isamu Noguchi (1904-1988) is an art and landscape architect. And if you've never seen a Noguchi table, you're missing out. The cube stands on a point like a rolling die and therefore is exceptional to all the straight up and down lines all around Manhattan. As well, the bright red painted steel contrasts with the blacks and concrete and glass. The center of the cube has a cylindrical hole. So of course, the eye is drawn to the feature.
