You ignored each of my salient points and deflected (and you're pretty good at it) all of them. However, you didn't address, and plainly have no excuse for canceling my appointment and not offering an accommodation for what you did, not me, as you try to insinuate. You've lost a decades-old patient; shame on Vivida Dermatology and the back-office staff, including Dr. Victoria Farley (for not interceding), as it is, after all, reflective of her reputation.
ORIGINAL UNEDITED REVIEW
I've been going to Vivida Dermatology for a decade. To be frank, it's strictly because I like Dr. Victoria Farley and for no other reason. I have written many 5-star reviews about Vivida, also based on Dr. Farley, and I've mentioned this. However, the staff, especially the phone staff, are poorly trained, incompetent, unfriendly, and oblivious to Vivida's patients' needs.
I made an appointment with Dr. Farley this past February for August 19, 2026. I waited 6 months for the appointment. I even asked the staff to call me if they received any cancellations so I could come in sooner because of my concerns. Of course, I never received a call, and I find it hard to believe there were absolutely no cancellations in the months leading up to my appointment. However, that issue doesn't change my opinion of Vivida Dermatology.
About 10 days before my scheduled August 19th appointment, I received a less-than-personal text message stating that my appointment was canceled. The message included no further information or details about the appointment, did not offer the earliest available accommodation for "your" cancellation, and there were no follow-up texts or calls, except for the one stating I had "missed" my appointment. When I called to reschedule the August 19th appointment, I was told the next appointment would be sometime in November. Then, to make matters worse, a couple of weeks ago I received an email saying they'd like to rebook the appointment that "I canceled." When I called about my "so-called" cancellation, someone in your reservations department treated me rudely, insisted that I had canceled the appointment, and said the earliest I could be seen was in December.
To that end, no matter how much I may like Dr. Farley, I will not patronize a medical practice, and others should take into account your business practices and distortions of the truth.
