I wanted to support a local business, but my experience here was very disappointing. I had my lash extensions done on Tuesday sunflower style and within a day they began falling out. My eyes became painful, and I even developed a stye. These last couple of days have been extremely stressful because of it. I followed their after care instructions since it's my first time getting them done and wanted them to last me a good time for the amount I paid for. When I contacted the salon, I was told they don't do refunds and only offer fixes. Because of the irritation and pain, I couldn't go through another appointment. They eventually agreed to remove the lashes and give me a partial refund, but the removal is scheduled for tomorrow--my husband's birthday--and I'll most likely have a swollen eye and won't be able to take pictures with him, which is really disappointing. Overall, the quality of the service and the impact it had on my eye made this a very upsetting experience, and the partial refund doesn't feel like a fair resolution. read more

I'm disapointed when I come here. With all the good reviews, I expected the result come out good. But as long as I got out, the corner lashes fell off and since there's another client waiting, i feel bad for her so I just ask them to pull it off. The whole process of applying lashes on my eyes, the lash tech keep making mistake and it was painful for me, she kept pulling out the wrong ones and it was already dry. The lash itself is thick so not reccommend for small eyes. I want to remove it so bad but i paid nearly $100 for it so I can't really do much about it. read more

Shirlene was my person and she was so gentle and I didn't have any burning. She did classic real mink, which is very soft and I highly suggest because how light it feels. UPDATE: Great customer service in regards to my service. I was able to get a full refund! Thank you! As a regular customer at the Covina location, I thought that the standard of work is of high quality at all locations. This is not the case. I would usually get 6D volume lashes at the Covina location. After realizing that I wanted to try a lash curl with more curl (D curl), it was recommended for me to get a new set to avoid mixing the different lash curls. So, I tried scheduling a full set appointment at the Covina location and since they were fully booked, they asked me if I wanted to make an appointment at the Baldwin Park location. I scheduled a new set at this location with the same volume I usually get - 6D volume, elegant style, but with a D curl instead of C curl. Shirlene was my lash artist and she took about two hours to complete the full set. Upon completion, my lashes were uneven, super flat, and irritated. I have never had such a bad experience like this with Mini Beauty Eyelashes, so I contacted the Covina location immediately to see if they could help me out. The lash artist who usually does my lashes let me know that Shirlene used too much glue and that the lash curls she used, lost it's retention over time so therefore, my lashes turned out to be flat. Where's the quality assurance within the use of their products? Shouldn't she check the quality of the lashes before putting them on my eyes? Well, I got them removed at the Covina location and will not be coming back to Baldwin Park. My eyes are still irritated. If you want your lashes done well, go to the Covina location. read more

When I mentioned the severe irritation, the tech was quick to blame me. She said I kept opening my eyes but I've been doing my lashes for yearssssssss & this has never happened to me before. She took her time and when both of our stomach growled I was like , dead . But LOL thank you ginnie . Appointment was very easy to make I called and was able to book one day of. It's in a plaza so plenty of parking , but make sure u read the sign because I literally walked into another spa/salon and literally mini beauty eyelash was next door but i looked dumb. Place itself is pretty big , It's a cute place they have pink drapes and white walls. Very aesthetic and clean looking. Calming music is played in the background and not going to lie , I enjoyed it. I felt, relaxed. Ginnie was also gentle while doing my eyes. I got a hybrid set : natural and it was about $90 ( excluding tip, because was paid in cash) , would've been $89 BUT if you use credit they do charge $1.50. I came across this establishment thru Instagram Looked them up on Yelp and noted the reviews. I'm pretty new to eyelashes so was not 100% as to what to ask for Judy Chen was very patient and listened actively to what I was describing- short, but not too short, sexy but not dramatic and definitely not fake looking. . Definitely a challenge. She continued to be very understanding. During the process never felt any burning or stinging from the glue. Like it says on the advertisement " the glue does not ever touches your skin" this was accomplished. When she was done, I was shocked at my reflection in the mirror- what a big difference eyelashes make. Was not sure if I loved them at that moment but they were definitely light and not rubbing my eyeballs. Friend and family noticed them and complimented my lashes. Starting to love them. I scheduled an appointment with Vivian because of the amount of people that were raving about her. Such a big mistake. I came in and automatically felt unwelcome. I came in with an idea of what lashes I'd like to do and asked about her opinion on it. The lashes I wanted to do were called "anime lashes" on their website. Vivian kept on arguing with me about how it's called "sunflower" and not anime. Whatever, I let it go. The entire time she was doing my lashes she kept muttering to herself.
