Dined here on a Friday evening with a party of 5 adults walking in. We entered through "The 19th…read morehope" the bar area of the Inn. We asked if they could take us which they obviously could since there were many empty tables! We had just gone through Oquossic restaurants and all had an average of 45-90 minutes to wait! We were heading back to Rangeley when my father mentioned the Inn. The atmosphere is old fashioned rustic and the dining room is classy with linen table clothes and napkins and oil lamps on the tables for lighting. The building has a musty odor going downstairs for the bathrooms and Inn rooms. Dark paneling lines the hallways and the ladies room has a "powdering" area which you don't see very often. A great country club atmosphere over all. Only down part was on that at the end of an 80 degree day they had no AC! I do have to say though that although I wasn't refreshed by cold air, the fans and opened doorway did help. We all felt relaxed and happy we came here opposed to the hectic and very busy other places we had been. We ordered our drinks and looked over the menu. There were a few appetizers, several entree's, and only one dessert listed on the evenings specials list. We ordered the special Lobster Rosetto, Veal piccata, and the Alaskan Sockeye Salmon. The lobster was wonderful, creamy texture and plenty of lobster. The veal was very good, clean plates. The Salmon was dry and not very hot. Black beans that accompanied were ok but didn't like with the Salmon. We enjoyed the rum bread pudding dessert special at the end of our meal. Sue was our waitress and thought she was fast, friendly, and professional in helping us with our meal.

We shipped that cart to Florida. Today, we decided to perhaps buy another cart for our camp in NH. The experience couldn't have been more opposite in a very negative way. We pulled into the parking lot and we walked around looking at the inventory. Noone was outside to help. Walked into the office and Tim was at his desk doing paperwork. Asked fewM850i questions and he indifferently answered our questions. We looked at a used Clubcar cart that Tim gave us a price of $5999.. yet their website advertised it for $4999. We actually decided to buy a new Evolution cart in the showroom.. for cash.. provided we could pick it up the next day (I'm having shoulder surgery next week and I won't be able pick it up for many weeks). Tim didn't blink an eye and said sorry, not possible. So we walked out with our $8000 check. Business must be pretty good... and if you go... forget about the 24 hour delivery they advertise on their website... not going to happen. Good luck! Walter

After paying, I learned of a miscommunication in the kitchen and was asked to check back in after about 10 minutes. On my second arrival, I was told that the "cornbread was just coming out of the oven" with no other updates or communication for the following 15 minutes . 50 minutes after calling (and receiving my 20 minute quote) I was out the door - no utensils, no condiments and a soggy burger bun. My meal: Burger was on the colder side, the cheese had gone translucent across the top of my patty. I had one hearty slice of romaine and a 1/2" thick crosscut of red onion as my toppings. Fries should have been hotter, and a serving of ketchup or other would have gone a long way. Corn bread was decent, and suitably hot for consumption.
