What I love about their food is that you can get it mild so it's not near as spicy/hot as most Haitian restaurants. I love Haitian food but if it gets too hot I just can't eat it and most of the places in this area over do the spices. We dined here for lunch on a Friday and were seated promptly but they did a server swap since they saw that we were non Spanish speaking Gringos and needed a server who spoke English. (Carnitas, Beef Barbacoa, & De Chivo- goat Barbacoa) They were all garnished with radish slices, sauteed onions, and a lime wedge. Truly authentic. The restaurant is very big inside with a nice bar area, a stage for music, a video screen and lots of sombreros to have a spirited time in the evenings. There are shelves along the wall where they have authentic clay Mexican bowls, cups, and other very pretty objects for sale but I didn't see the prices. On the table napkin dispensers, there were advertisements for their daily specials. For the ladies, they will bring a wooden tree to hang your purse, which I thought was pretty special.
