Was looking forward to having a big piece of Halibut but was informed that the pieces were small and very expensive. As such I tried the Haddock but was quite disappointed in the portion size, mostly all batter. Also tried the clam strips which were dismal, pre made out of a bag and such a small portion. Fries were ok, nothing special and the coleslaw wasn't too my taste as well, very finely grated and such a small portion. So not a very good value, $17.00 for the Haddock and $12.00 for the clam strips. Probably the best option locally, but doesn't compare to many other fish and chip places around.

Only downside was my husband's scrambled eggs either weren't real or they were overcooked served out of a steam table. Very in appetizing. The fries are perfect, but I gravitate towards the onion rings, because nobody makes them better! My biggest complaint... they DO NOT KNOW HOW TO make tartar sauce... because of this, I do not need to go their as often, unfortunately. They have nothing in it... I need tartar sauce for my fish... and I may have to make my own and bring it. It's simple... but, for some reason they've stopped adding relish. It's so easy to make, I didn't think it could be screwed up... but, they have royally messed up. I'll still eat the fish. Just a bit disappointed that it'll have to be eaten dry. My husband, toddler and I got the King's Platter which was perfect - two pieces of halibut, three shrimps and 3 scallops with a huge amount of fries, coleslaw, with what I assume was house made tartar sauce and seafood sauce. We were the only customers - we went in the Sunday of a long weekend shortly before closing - and had our food in front of us within ten minutes of entering. It all tasted fresh and delicious and "light" considering it was deep fried. The batter had good crunch. We loved all of it...our toddler loved the fries and the decor, especially the murals. We will absolutely be back.
