The lady, after listening to the first item, just went back to make it. In the meantime, another lady came and asked if we mind getting another customer ringed up. We were like, sure! In some time, the first lady came back with the iced coffee and asked if that was it. Now, I don't know why a barista would assume an order of just one coffee between two people. I said I'd like a regular coffee as well. And before I could continue to order the bagel with cream cheese, she turned around to pour the regular one. In the meantime, the other lady came again asking us if we'd be okay with another customer ringed up. It was a bit weird (certain customers made to wait while others allowed to skip the line?). We left skipping the bagel order, sensing that perhaps we were not welcome there. Coffee was okay but this was first of its kind of experience for us in Canada. And on "Canada Day", of all the days!
