When I returned, I was told no work was performed due to parts availability. However, the shop cut off the muffler support clamp because it was "loose" and returned the bike without replacing it. This is a structural exhaust support. Without it, the bike is unsafe to ride and at risk of further damage. When I raised this, I was told the part would take 6-8 weeks and that there was nothing they could do. When I asked for a solution, I was told they no longer wanted my business. The manager (John) ignored multiple callbacks and was dismissive and rude in person. I'm sharing this so others are aware: my scooter was returned in worse--and unsafe--condition than when I brought it in, with no accountability or resolution.

I am also a firm believer in supporting local businesses, so I brought my Kawasaki to Powerhouse. I requested a tune-up, air filter, and oil change. Aside from the fee, I left a tip hoping to establish a good connection with the owner. One year later, in April 2024, I brought my motorcycle again to Frank for oil, filter change, and tune-up. One month after the "service", the mirror needed to be replaced, and a minor oil leak, as per Frank, required fixing. After a couple of days, I picked up my bike. Frank told me: "You would not believe how dirty the oil was"! I replied, "Frank, do you keep records of what you do? I paid you to change the oil less than one month ago." I got on the motorcycle to go home. After one mile or so, the hot oil busted out of the engine and started to splatter all over. I quickly returned to the shop. Needless to say, I was angered by the events. Without commenting, I left the motorcycle with Frank. A couple of days later, Frank called asking me to pick up the motorcycle. He was irritated that I could not pick up the vehicle that very day. During our tense conversation, Frank tried BLAMING ME for his botched "repairs" and his evident neglect. He also said that he "would not charge me this time." I mean, how much more arrogant can one be? At the end of the exchange, I gave him a piece of my mind, and he apologized. Fast forward three months, I took the motorcycle to a trusted mechanic in another state. It turned out that the air filter, for which I paid twice, was never changed. The filter that we took out was at least 10 years old. I doubt that the oil was ever changed because it was as dirty as can be. This story is very troubling and should serve as a warning to Frank's future customers. I was not only cheated but literally, my life was endangered because Frank didn't care to take the vehicle for a test ride before giving it back to me. I have photographs and videos to back up my claims. I hope you are reading this, Frank. I told you I was a photographer. You should have been careful, not to mention honest with me.

BUYER BEWARE -- MY EXPERIENCE WITH BELLMORE HARLEY-DAVIDSON…read more I strongly recommend that anyone considering purchasing a motorcycle from Bellmore Harley-Davidson read this before signing anything. My experience with salesman Tony was extremely disappointing. During the sales process, I was told that several items--including the GPS, warranty, service, and alarm--were included in the deal. I relied on those representations when agreeing to the purchase. After the deal was completed, I discovered that $1,850 in additional charges for those items had been added to my loan. That is not a minor misunderstanding. That is a significant amount of money, and it completely changed the financial terms of the deal I believed I had agreed to. I immediately challenged the charges and demanded that the situation be corrected. To their credit, the finance manager ultimately reimbursed me the full $1,850 in cash, and I have a text confirmation documenting that reimbursement. But here's the problem: I should never have had to fight to get that money back in the first place. A motorcycle dealership should operate on transparency and trust. If a salesperson tells a customer something is included in the purchase price, the customer should be able to rely on that statement--not discover after the paperwork is signed that thousands of dollars have been added to the financing. The fact that I ultimately received my $1,850 back does not erase the experience or the complete lack of confidence it created in the transaction. My advice: get EVERY promise in writing, scrutinize every line of the purchase agreement and financing documents, and do not assume that anything a salesperson tells you is actually included unless you can see it in writing. I walked into Bellmore Harley-Davidson expecting to buy a motorcycle and trust the people selling it to me. I walked away feeling like I had to fight to make sure I wasn't charged for things I was told were already included. Tony and Bellmore Harley-Davidson: this is not how you earn a customer's trust--or their repeat business. Five stars? Absolutely not. My experience: 1/5.

This particular model is well known for having electrical issues and on more than one occasion I have been stranded mid-ride due to theses issues causing a dead battery. I reached out to Mark and he responded promptly and helped me come to grips with the situation and the options available. He was extremely knowledgeable about the issue and accommodated me bringing in the motorcycle ASAP. Mark even went out of his way to provide me with some options for towing my bike in. My motorcycle was ready to pick up way sooner than I anticipated and throughout the whole process Mark kept me in the loop. He was friendly and down to earth. So I bought my son to my sister's and went to leave her house to get to work and I noticed my tire was looking kind of flat. Being the maniac that I am, I said please let me get to work and hopped in my car and hoped to get to work with the tire the way it was. I made it luckily. So I called AAA and they suggested towing the car to a tire shop to fix it. My co-worker used Hewlett House of Tires in an emergency before so I told AAA that's where they should take my car. I barely had to do anything which is awesome! I got to stay at work AAA came and took my car and after work my co-worker dropped me off to pick up my car. The guy who took care of my bill was very pleasant. He was really busy juggling phone calls, trying to ring me up, get last minute stuff done on other cars before they closed for the day but he never lost his cool despite all that busyness and he never lost his pleasant attitude, great way to deal with customers! The bill was kind of pricey I needed two tires. I told my husband I got two flats, not sure if he paid attention so I'm expecting him to question the charge if he sees it lol. Tires are a lot of money though and you have to drive your car if you have one so what are you going to do. Overall my experience here was easy and pleasant. They called me to tell me what I needed and had the service done real quick. I was able to go on my way home, pick up my son and have a good night. Definitely a good place to deal with if you are in Hewlett and NEED a new tire.

We purchased a 2015 Audi Q5 with only 57,000 miles from Kurt. He most recently replaced the Driveshaft and assured us that the vehicle was mechanically sound. On the first drive, the car left us stranded on the side of the road, indicating a transmission malfunction fault. I called Kurt, but he was not interested in helping, he also mentioned that he does not warranty his work. So I took the vehicle to a reputable shop that lifted the vehicle to check it out. To my surprise, the Driveshaft was damaged due to improper installation, and, it was found to be a low quality Chinese driveshaft that cost 1/10th the price of the original. Just about any mechanic that you will meet will warranty their work, and own their mistakes (which is ok, we are only human) but not Kurt. Instead, I am left with a hefty bill and a vehicle that my mother is afraid to even drive now. This review is so that you, as a potential customer, are aware of the person that you are looking forward to doing business with. I would highly recommend using mechanics that will warranty their work, because mistakes do happen.
