If I could give this place 0 stars I would , I was on the market for a 2022 Polaris slingshot and tracked one down at Mineola Moto, called the dealer up crunched some numbers they ran my credit and everything was good to go I was set to pick the slingshot up next day, I even sent the dealer a portion of the down payment in good faith. 30 minutes later they called me and told me they sold it to somebody else , as you can imagine I was upset and expressed my frustration with the lack of professionalism and care that was shown to me ! additionally I was told if the person who they had sold the slingshot to did not show up it was mine ! At this point I did not want to deal with them anymore and made other arrangements to pick up the same exact model slingshot in Pennsylvania, while I was en route and 6 hours away Mineola Moto calls me to inform me that the slingshot was mine (the other customer never showed up) what a circus show ! There is nothing more I appreciate than good customer service and attentiveness. I was shopping around for the new 2020 Yamaha MT-03. I reached out online through their website to make this transaction happen (due to covid-19) the showroom is closed and only open by appointment. Needless to say, the transaction went well & smooth enough to not need to ever enter the showroom. Kenny reached out to me via email and we exchanged all necessary information, paperwork, signatures through email. Everything was diligent , fast and efficient. At no point did I feel pressure to buy anything (this is a normally a huge turn off for me), the whole transaction was very casual, smooth, & professional in every manner. The biggest key thing that led me to buying with them was that they were able to top an offer I got from another dealer, so that was an automatic yes for me. Great customer service + great pricing, I was instantly in. I made the appointment to go pick up the motorcycle the next day. When I arrived, I was given my paperwork & signed whatever additional necessary items were needed to finalize the transaction. They walked me to the motorcycle and showed me all the features that the motorcycle had. He also wanted to make sure that I felt comfortable enough to ride, and that if I didnt, to leave it there and come back another time. I purchased my Polaris Slingshot from this dealer 2+ years ago. I have received my share of recalls and was going to take a trip so I contacted them to have all these issues addressed. I asked to have an oil service and inspection performed as well. 3 weeks went by and I received an email from the manager/owner Kenny asking why I haven't picked up the unit? Well, no one ever called me? Turned out they were calling the wrong number, what took them 3 weeks to contact me by other means? I will never know. I went to the dealer to retrieve the unit, paid my bill for some additional work and never received a receipt. Not a big deal it was sent to me by email later, but let's not get too far ahead in the next events. The service writer after taking my money said they would pull the unit out - well 10 minutes later came back to me telling me that I would have to come back the following day due to the battery being dead! Dead? Well they must have done something for it to drain because all my electronics were unplugged. I asked if he had a jump pack and I would jump it myself - i went into the back and did it for them - how do they not know how to jump start one of their products? I have no idea. But here comes the best part! The dealership stored my Slingshot outside for 3 weeks! The carpets were soaked and smelled of mildew, my radar detector and GPS unit were now fried, and my iPhone charging cable was green with corrosion. iPhone cable? Not a big deal, $650 radar detector and a $500 GPS is a big deal. I went ahead and made my complaint and spoke to James Fowler the Service Manager, nice guy, well spoken, agreed to perform the Oil Service and Inspection at no charge, this is a nice offer, but I would rather pay for the service and have my items replaced. At NO time did anyone advise me that the vehicle would be stored outside, why would I ever leave my electronics exposed for someone to possibly steal or be damaged in bad weather??? Why would anyone??? The dealer claims they have signage explaining this, and they don't - although I bet someone crafty posted them now, furthermore they claim I signed a work order - never happened either. I am completely dissatisfied with this dealer and I am not letting this go, I will have to take them to Small Claims Court, I have no choice, my property was damaged due to their neglect and they are liable for the damages. BEWARE to anyone that uses this dealer, your vehicle will be stored outside in the elements and damage can occur!!! read more

I was parked in the Chaminade parking lot across the street with my son, when I couldn't start my car. I went across the street into their store and asked if they could help. So they came out with a battery pack got my car started. When I asked him what do I owe you he said nothing that's ok. I asked again he said it's ok. I asked about giving him something to the person who worked there. Again no it's ok.we don't see enough of people doing nice things for strangers anymore. I do not know if people are just plain lazy to write reviews after getting great deals on their vehicles or people only write things to complain. I had the most pleasant time speaking to Kenny. He means business and at the same time treated me like a guest. Anytime he needed approval from his boss, he would get it almost right away. He responds super fast to any type of contact that you may need of him. You can ring him up and email him. On their site it says that " If you see a lower price in store or on the web, we will meet it or beat it ". In my case, they most certainly beat it by several hundred ( I called/emailed a bunch of NYS dealers to get their prices ) ! There will always be exceptions in everything. One can not expect a price match to a dealership across the country that is going out of business. Although Kenny will try his best though ! In closing I would like to say that I was not pressured at all. In fact you could even say that I spoke to him over ten separate occasions asking this and that. ( taxes,dmv fees, transfer fees, average time to assemble my vehicle, etc ). He never once replied in a negative tone. Overall it was a great experience. read more

They are great, but be warned, they get BUSY. I've been to a few Indian dealerships out west, and at most they've got five or six bikes to fix up at a time. This place looks like they had a good two or three dozen motorcycles they were working on. Indian really needs another dealership in the area, perhaps in Queens. I just moved to Glen Cove from Queens just a few weeks ago. Came time to have my Honda Shadow inspected. Rather than drive to Long Island City Honda Yamaha, I went to Mineola Suzuki and I was advised that inspections are only done on Thursdays which isn't very customer friendly. I drove to Long Island City Honda and had it done. While at the Honda dealer, I came across a beautiful Suzuki Boulevard which I test drove and bought. Sorry Mineolamoto. Once I had grown out of my old starter bike, I was in the market for something big and reliable. Instinctively I tried a couple of Harley dealerships but after a few sour test rides and an unsavory sales rep I was left searching for something outside the box. I had a friend that previously purchased from Mineola so I decided to bring my search there. I was met by a very knowledgeable and courteous sales department that wanted to work with me to find something right rather than steer me toward a particular model like some previous folks I had dealt with. I ended up falling in love with a 2010 victory cross country, something completely different from what I thought I would end up with. The guys there helped me through every step of the way and not once did I feel pressured or uninformed.
