This place is a DREAM. As soon as I walked in I was in love. To the left is jewelry and a second room, to the right is the antique jars, fossils and quartz. That's where I gravitate. I found a couple really amazing pieces of glass from early 1900s to display on my dining table. When I finally ventured to the left I found the nicest turquoise ring that I knew I had to purchase. Finally, I was able to make my way outside to the diy persons heaven. Beautiful planks of wood, more vintage signs/jars, old doors of different design. Seriously. The greatest little find. The owner/shopkeeper, not sure, was extremely friendly. A doggo made his presence under a table after a while and it was just the kind of place I wanted to be..

Always a fun shop to browse through. The owners are nice and so is their doggie! If you need minerals for your collection, this is the place to visit. A nice selection of used, antique, artistic and useful items. They have furniture and windows and just a little bit of good "junk".

A treasure hunt with charm and value…read more Penny Wise Consignment is one of those places where you walk in "just to browse" and somehow leave with a bag full of finds you didn't know you needed. The shop is well‑organized without losing that fun, treasure‑hunt energy that makes consignment shopping so addictive. Clothing, accessories, home goods--everything feels curated enough to be worth your time, but still priced like a true local gem. What really sets Penny Wise apart is the staff. They're friendly, patient, and genuinely invested in helping you find something that fits your style or your home. There's a sense of loyalty and community here--you can tell regulars come back not just for the deals, but for the people. Inventory rotates often, which keeps things fresh, though it also means you've got to be quick if you spot something great. A little more space or updated displays would push this place into five‑star territory, but honestly, the charm is part of the appeal. If you love good value, unique pieces, and a shop that feels like it's run with heart, Penny Wise is absolutely worth the stop. Enjoy

They sell high end denim, such as Seven, Miss Me, Hudson, True Religion, Joes, Citizens of Humanity, Paige and more. I always visit them for my jeans needs but end up finding much more. There are great dresses for summer time and amazing cashmere year round. I recently got a cute dress for a wedding and received so many compliments on it. I always go there for baby shower and children's gifts, too. It's a perfect place to pick up a gift for a friend, of any age. The accessories (artisan jewelry, scarves, vintage looking belts, and bags) is awesome. The people that work there are friendly, helpful, and I'm so happy Mystic FINALLY has such a great store!

Many stones and elements that aren't frequently used anymore. All of the designs were excellent, so someone has a great eye when they chose what antique pieces to sell. My husband got me an ensemble from one particular contemporary jewelry artist for Christmas. The necklace was just slightly too tight. I thought we were going to drop it off and have an extension put on. The girl did it right away and came out and put it on me! It looks so nice. It didn't seem like much time, but it didn't matter because I was completely lost in all the beautiful jewelry pieces on display. The other girl patiently showed me a bunch of pieces and answered all my questions. We will definitely stop back in any time we are in Mystic. And I would completely trust trust them to repair anything I had.
