The ladies at the Perfect place were not working but preparing for a special sale. I was warmly welcomed even though they were closed and spent some time gathering gifts for friends little ones. My grandchildren are unfortunately too old for this shop. I asked where I could purchase water and was graciously handed a cold water bottle I should have posted this a long time ago but the "other shop" was brought up in conversation--never again! It's a smaller antique store, but somehow, they managed to pack a lot of merchandise in there without it feeling cluttered. On the contrary, the store appears well organized, and it was easy to find prices on items. Admittedly, I'm no antique expert, but to my untrained eye, they had a good selection of antique furniture that was in good condition, and not unreasonably priced, in this layman's opinion. In no way would I describe this shop's wares as 'junk,' as other reviewers have, at least during my visit. A man who I presume was the owner stayed behind the counter during the entire 15 minutes or so we were there. He did not greet us, but then again, he let everyone browse at will, so I did not have any interaction with him. My wife particularly liked a set of four jadeite salt, pepper and other condiment shakers that were a beautiful shade of green like pistachio pudding. Alas, at $150, they were out of our budget.
