Love the food and the concept of good healthy meals! I hope they might consider a location in the North Shore.

What an easy place to create a healthy meal or just stop in and pick on out frozen or go to the fresh cooler.

I was able to order 8 pre-assembled half meals for a very reasonable cost and pick them up right after work. First of all, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, explaining how to heat up the food and helping me carry it all to the car Second off, I got home, turned on the oven, popped in the crispy chicken tenders and tater tots while I was in the shower and by the time I was done, dinner was ready. One meal was enough food for me to split it in half so that I can make another entire meal later. The chicken was outstanding. Really flavorful and I loved the sweet and spicy sauce it came with. The tatertots were better than the ones I typically pick up from the grocery store. I was stuffed afterwards and can't wait to try another meal tonight. They also gave me a bag of their cookie dough to try. Omg. I ate five of them! This was a perfect solution for a busy professional like myself who currently lives alone. I foresee using this service for months to come - no mess, no extra ingredients I'll let go to waste, and no stress. It was awesome.

If you want 12 meals, it's a 2 hour session. Conceptually, I thought this was a great idea and went for the 6 meal session. I signed up and headed in, ready to have all these meals my family would chow down on and I wouldn't have to think about making. First of all unless you just consider your meal one dish, it's not a whole meal you are preparing. It's just the meat/fish/chicken/pasta dish! So you still have to come up with the veggie, salad, bread, etc. Also their idea of a serving is the one approved by the food pyramid people, enough for a kid under 5 to eat. So it's not enough food if you have 4 people that eat. Maybe enough for 2 adults and an infant. You could throw in an anorexic girl as well. I also had a problem with the ingredients. While they did have some great cuts of flank steak, the salmon portions were frozen and the chicken breasts were those big frozen blobs you get in the big plastic bag at Cub Foods! Hello, I'm paying about $20 a "meal" here, how about some fresh ingredients? The recipes were ok. There was marinated flank stead, salmon with pesto sauce, some beef and chicken dishes as well as lasagna (too goopy) and soup. And the point of paying $20 for some soup is......? I have to say the facility was VERY clean and the staff was around answering questions or telling people to go faster since their time was running out. It was nice to have them actually involved. So if you are truly desperate for meals and have a family that isn't picky and doesn't eat much, this wouldn't be a bad fit. But if you are a cheapskate like me with big eaters, this isn't the place for you!

It was great since we all got to do more and hear better than with a normal larger group. Our Southern menu consisted of collard greens with pancetta, skillet jalapeno-cheddar cornbread, mustard potatoes with onions, and the most amazing flank steak + tomato chutney. Seriously, I'm still mentally drooling over this chutney! I can't wait to make it again! For dessert, lemon curd mousse. Delicious It was really nice to have our actual meal at a dinner table that was thoughtfully decorated and put together (versus in the kitchen around the stainless steel). We really had an amazing night and loved learning some new skills, recipes, and flavors. Looking forward to going back for a different menu!

My former best friend was a Kraft Sales Representative in the 90s and the company seemed to treat her well!! Kraft provided her with a corporate vehicle, expense account for the vehicle's gas/maintenance, training, awards for attaining certain sales goals, and luxurious (at the time) Corporate off-sites. Because she stocked the special Kraft displays in various stores and carted off the nearly expired products, she filled my house with nearly expired Kraft salad dressings, sauces, and the like! This was a free, fun score for my family! Kraft Foods (Group) Inc. merged with Heinz in 2015 forming Kraft Heinz, the fifth largest food and beverage company in the world, and the third largest in North America. Kraft offers some of my personal favorite brands such as Grey Poupon; Belvita (which I bought often for my sweet Momma who loved the Belvita line); the decadent (when you want a fast queso) Velveeta cheese; and everyone's beloved Chips Ahoy cookies; Wheat Thins crackers; and delicious Triscuits in their varied offerings! The active ingredient has preserved Egyptian Pharoes for two millenia. Same goes for their Catalina salad dressing. So what if it looks like it came from the crank case of my parents' Pontiac Catalina... that tangy lava flow makes me drool. And be honest, Stove Top Stuffing absolutely beats grandma's hands down. I'll gladly trade a few years off the ticker for any of this crud. Five very mortal stars. BTW, Ramses says hello.

So I love Amish products, they seem so legit and "farmers market" without the hipster markup, amirite? So this new place was initially very intriguing and unusual... I think this storefront used to be a pre-prepped meal kit place, like the home delivery stuff being sold now over socials... Anyway, the store seems more like a eastern euro (Polish?) Business reselling Amish items. Prices seem well below retail on the few items they carry but produce and such fresh items are only passable and look to have seen better days. Dairy, bread and canned goods are interesting. Due to lack of preservatives the daily baked bread seems to go stale by end of day, so I got the inexpensive French mini loaf tossed in for free. Was planning on Air fryer toasting that into crostini anyway... so score. The drop in a star was due to the iffy customer service. Older lady needs to down some sugar and not shoot dour looks at me, not the best impression on a new customer..., the other lady seemed friendlier but should probably chill on long convos in Polish while a customer is standing at the register to checkout. Might be back, next time I'm in the strip mall for curiosity... but Woodman's has Amish items too.
