She doesn't just give you a generic meal plan or workout routine, she takes the time to fully understand your lifestyle, habits, goals, preferences, and challenges so the plan actually works FOR YOU. The personalized meal plan was one of the biggest game changers for me because it was realistic, sustainable, and easy to stay consistent with. She also does regular check-ins that keep you accountable and supported throughout the process. She's incredibly responsive and such a valuable resource whenever I'm unsure about what I should be eating or how to stay on track without feeling restricted. Whether your goal is weight loss, building strength, toning, or simply becoming healthier, she creates workout plans specifically tailored to help you reach your goals effectively and confidently. I appreciate her attentiveness during each workout. She watches your form and makes sure you're performing exercises correctly and safely. She challenges you by increasing weight when she knows you're capable of more and also knows when to slow things down to prevent overdoing it. That balance of encouragement and awareness has helped me know my limits and when to push myself more. Mia also takes the time to explain fat loss and helps you understand how small, consistent changes can positively impact your body over time. You can tell she genuinely takes the time to understand how each client operates and knows how to help them get back on track if they fall off course. She's not the type of trainer who just helps you lose weight and sends you on your way, she genuinely wants you to develop healthier lifestyle habits so you can become independent, maintain your results long-term, and feel confident in your own routine. Beyond her knowledge and professionalism, Mia is incredibly inspiring, positive, and supportive. She empowers women and creates a focused, encouraging environment where you feel comfortable, motivated, and capable of achieving more than you thought possible. I just completed a 3-month program with her and have lost noticeable weight. Now, that I've learned about my body and have developed better eating and workout habits, I'm going to continue with her on her online program! CHOOSE MIA! I haven't been to the gym in a long time after going through a really hard year, and she met me with so much understanding. She pushed me in the best way, but always with kindness. She was also very mindful of my limits, helped modify exercises when I needed it, and made sure I still felt successful. She was absolutely incredible. The main reason I'm writing this 5-star review, though, is because of Sammy. After class, I was feeling really emotional--it had been so long since I worked out, and I've been struggling with feeling insecure. I think everything just hit me at once, and I couldn't stop my eyes from watering. When she took me into the break room to go over memberships, she immediately noticed something was off. Instead of just continuing on, she paused, checked in on me, and truly listened. She went above and beyond--sharing her own experiences, reassuring me, and reminding me that I should be proud of myself for even showing up. Her kindness and empathy meant more than I can explain. She made me feel seen, supported, and not alone in that moment. Sammy's customer service was exceptional, but more than that, her genuine care is what made the biggest impact. She didn't just "sell" me on signing up--she inspired me through compassion and understanding. Because of her, I feel motivated and excited to continue my fitness journey here. Amazing staff, great energy, and such a welcoming environment. Thank you, Sammy, for your kindness--you truly made a difference!

I've traveled down many routes all leading to fitness, and whichever allows me to guiltlessly enjoy my cheat meals. Chino Hills Pilates, formerly My Pilates Studio, recently opened it's snazzy doors to the public. Housed in a new location, the facility is gorgeous: two levels, spacious for floor exercises and a section for reformer work. There's even a comfortable sitting area for those waiting for the next session. I have been a member for over a year, and I cannot stress enough how rigorous these workouts can get. I crossfit which involves a lot of explosive type movements and exercises. Well the focus of Pilates is the opposite, full body control and core are its underlying principles. You find yourself shaking to maintain a complex holding movement. Your fatigued muscles will burn at every rep. You'll probably quietly curse at the instructor for making you work so damn hard, but in the end, and I promise you this, your core and your extremities will feel ridiculously tight and toned. No bulk, just year-round bikini body. As if the intense workout isn't reason enough, yoga is also offered here as part of the membership. I do know that they offer free intro sessions as well. So why take advantage of something new to wake up that body? Don't be fooled by the seemingly slow pace and don't be intimidated either. The atmosphere is positive and friendly all the time. All the workouts can also be modified so there is no one who can't enjoy pilates. Oh yeah back to that location thing.., They are also located right across the alley from Crossfit Chino Hills where muscular men walk around shirtless and sweaty all the time. Just a bonus, I know. Just do it. You'll fall in love with it and look forward to the burnnnn!

But this is not a gym; it is a training facility where you work with trainers to tackle your physical goals. Next, this is about my trainer, Kevin Abandy. Kevin has been my trainer for exactly 8 weeks now and he is awesome! I made the decision to get a trainer after my birthday to truly invest in myself. You can invest in your own skills and education, but the return is almost always indirect. But with a trainer, specifically Kevin, I gained 8 lbs of muscle mass and lost 8% body fat (approx. 13-lbs of fat) after 8 weeks of training with him. Also, at the start of my training, I had back pain (from past injury to T12) and knee pains (from under the kneecap). Through Kevin's program and coaching, my pain has been reduced to near 0 with full mobility -- like squatting all the way down and up with 200-lbs of weight on my shoulders with no knee pain. I would give a 1-star review to keep it from getting crowded, but it would be hard for me to not tell others about the good that comes out of this place. My mom is 70 and she's training with Kevin too! And the story is the same for her... knee pains - GONE. Back pains - GONE. If you're reading this and decide to get a consultation with Kevin, please let him know you saw Alex's review so he knows his method is making an impact.

I've been working with Mia for almost 6 months now and have dropped about 5% in body fat and gained 7% in muscle mass. I would have never considered myself "overweight" but knew I needed to lose a few pounds. I've tried the traditional membership gyms but always found that I would lose interest or motivation. When I started inquiring about personal trainers, Mia was very prompt at answering. During our consultation I did a body fat scan and was shocked to find out that I was nearly 25%. We talked and I learned that it was less about the weight and more about body composition and fat/muscle percentages. Due to my work schedule we were able to meet twice a week for an hour a session. Mia adds good variety to our workouts and I definitively know that I push myself more during our sessions that I normally would have if I were doing the workouts by myself. She also places an emphasis on nutrition and offers advice on what to eat and what to stay away from. The last couple of years my diet has gotten progressively worse, and she's been a great help in getting me back on track. I've noticed that I've started making much healthier choices in the foods I eat. still have a ways to go but would highly recommend Mia for helping you get you to your goals!
