My sister and one of my best friends, Shea is truly one of the nicest, funniest, cutest and hardest-working people you will ever meet. She has poured her blood, sweat and tears into the hospitality industry for more than 20 years, and seeing her finally open Millie's makes me incredibly proud. I mean she's crazy too...no doubt about that! lol! We don't just have high standards in our family, we set the standard. Growing up with an Italian chef for a mom and an Irish salesman for a dad, hospitality is pretty much in our blood! Our family owned a successful restaurant in Western New York, and Shea, Will and I were lucky enough to grow up with some pretty incredible role models who taught us about hard work, good food and making people feel at home. And then there's Jake, Shea's husband...the man can COOK! I've been lucky enough to enjoy many of his meals over the years, so I know he and his team are rocking that kitchen. If there's a Thai food special, order it now! I cannot wait to finally visit Millie's, eat ALL the food, have a cocktail (or two) and see everything Shea and Jake have created. I am beyond proud of them and so excited to watch their Millie's story unfold. Congratulations, Shea & Jake! Here's to great food, great people and an amazing new chapter. I love you both! P.S. Get the puffs pancakes! My mom has been making those for years and passed the tradition onto us! They're delicious!
