I moved from south of Houston and had a Nail tech I used for YEARS, so when it came time to do my nails I searched yelp. I have had my nails and toes done 2 times now and each time is just as good as the last. Vivian does a wonderful job on my nails. The 1st time I went in I had my nails, toes, eyebrows and a Massage. I have had an Ombre manicure in the coffin shape (1st time for that shape) and I love it. Tracy did my pedicure and a 30 min. back massage and she did such a great job. The place is easy to find, clean and has plenty of parking. When u walk in you are greeted with a relaxing environment. They play clam music NOT A BLASTING radio! They also have a TV on in the background with closed captioning so it is not distracting. The pedi chairs are nice, the polish selections are good as well. They serve drinks (Water, soda and of course Mimosa's) Only thing is this. I Do not like having my toes and nails done at the same time and this place does that as a normal procedure. I have never been a fan it is not comfortable for me. SO when u call to make as appointment then make sure and tell them u want to have your pedi/mani at separate times. Horrible experience for the first time. Got my pedicure and the lady rushed me and also my foot massage, I got my pedicure done in 30 minutes or less and even forgot to do one of the requirements/necessities for one of the pedicure package I picked (The lady's excuse was why didn't I informed her which was a total joke cause y'all worked there not me). Manicure, not a fan.. as you can see I got a cut from my cuticle. Again this is one of the nail places that rushes you to go in and out. Honest opinion is get it done right than rushing customer and having to do the work twice & winds up to getting bad service. I do not recommend this place at all, I should have went to Milano. Terrible experience at this establishment! I went to get my eyebrows done and I made it clear I wanted them just cleaned up! She made them super thin and not to my liking! It was visibly noticeable that she took too much off of the top! After I pointed it out she said something about my skin tone being dark which had nothing to do with the fact that my eyebrows were too skinny! She said "well you don't have to pay" and stormed out of the room! I didn't get an apology for the terrible customer service and when I exited the building no one was up front. Went in for two pedicures and acrylic sets. Streaky toe polish, my original nail tech for my toes was pushed away from me because she was just lobbing on polish making it more streaky. They either over or under cured the top coat on my nails and now they're all chipping not even a day after visiting. They messed up a nail and did nothing about it and got black acrylic stuck under my nail and did nothing to help fix it just told me to brush it out myself. My friend asked before we even say if they could do the pattern she wanted and they said yes and did HORRIBLE they charged her $90+ and me $70+ for the sets and $40 for the toes not worth it at all read more

I went to get massage. Asian lady came in. Normally, 1hr session starts with face-head-neck-shoulders-arms. But she put me face down and start rubbing on my back from the beginning. After 10 min. mark, I stopped her and ask if she was licensed masseuse. She said yes. I told her you've been "RUBBING" on my back for last 10 min. and asked her to pressurize the pin points. From then, she gave me few elbows and hot stone massage but if you love massage, you know where your stressed points and chi points are. She didn't hit any of them and continued to rub my back. After 20 min., I stopped her and left massage shop. Then owner charges me $25 for 20 min. session where they charge $60 for 1 hr. If you really love massage, I would look for another place. read more

I booked an appointment using their website. When you book online it says to please wait until the owner confirms your appointment. I received confirmation via text and email for my appointment time. I showed up a few minutes before my appointment time and when I checked in the man I spoke to said he doesn't have an appointment for me. I showed him the email and text message confirmation and he said they don't have online booking. I showed him the website I used and asked him if that's their website. He said yes but it's old and we don't use the online booking. I asked why would it allow me to book and confirm the appointment after my booking? He said yes that's us our business but they don't take online appointments and he doesn't have an appointment for me today. He also said they have a person they are working on now and two appointments at 2pm so they wouldn't be able to make an appointment for me today. This was a terrible experience. I have to say first that the staff was friendly and that the lady did do a good job on my nails. If it weren't for the concern below I'd go back in a heartbeat. I give this place a 1 because of sanitary concerns and they are not Covid related. I needed new dipping powder. The lady put some acetone in a small cup-like container and asked me to dip my nails in it to remove the old dipping powder. That's standard so it didn't seem odd. When she was done removing all the dipping powder she poured the acetone back into the little bottle she initially poured it from. I said wait..... That's used acetone. I just dipped my nails in there. She said don't worry, the acetone very strong. I said what if you used that acetone for someone else to dip their nails in and they were bleeding. I myself had very tiny cut on one of my fingertips. She said no I use it to clean tools. (That should not be done either. She proceeded to dip the tip of the tool she used into another little container where she poured the used acetone- the one I had dipped my nails.) This is unfortunate because this place had such good reviews and again the staff was very friendly, but the reused acetone was concerning. read more

Absoultey horrible. I'm not one to leave reviews, well negative ones. I went Wednesday to get my feet and nails done. My foot now is cut open for using the grader way to much and hard. On the top of my foot I'm blistered. I have never had an experience like this in my life. The place is really nice and pretty. So i went to Mimosa yesterday for my 30th bday and i was VERY pleased !!! Kathy did my massage and it was honestly the best I've ever had ! She even stretched my legs It was the most thorough and relaxing massage ever that was def needed !! Next up i had a facial by Lee Lee ! She was very thorough as well and once i left , my skin was silky smooth. Terrible. I regret spending almost $50 for a full set. First thing is I told her they were too long and she said they are fine and they will get trimmed down with the filing. I ended up cutting them back a few days later. Then as they were growing out they were so rough around the bottom of the nails they kept getting snagged on my hair sooooo yup I had to file them myself. Their mimosas were not even good either! I came here for a facial. At first I wanted a min facial but she upgraded me to a deluxe which included microderm for only $10 more. They constantly have specials so make sure you ask or look online. Their facial was okay. I didnt feel as "clean" and "refreshed" afterwards as other facials. I also had a pedicure here. Again, it was okay, nothing spectacular. I did notice that she only used one coat of paint. When I get pedicures, the paint usually last for almost a month. This one lasted only a week. read more

So my friend's husband got her, me and a friend of ours deluxe packages for a girls' day out, so I was absolutely thrilled. I have never had a mani/pedi/either without being a bride or someone's bridesmaid, so for me, this was a real treat. We got the nicest mani/pedi packages with wax treatment, massages, and even a facial massage. Thanks Matt! My mani lady was really nice. We were chatting and laughing, and she even offered me a mimosa while she massaged my arms, put my hands in hotttt wax and painted my nails. My pedi woman was nice, too, but not as chatty. She did a great job massaging my (unshaven!) calves, put my feet in wax and painted my nails. Then my mani lady led me to a dark small room where I lay down and she put different oils and things on my face, massaging me to a near comatose state. There was one point where I started snoring, and it was so loud that I woke myself up. Awkward! Anyway, that was absolutely my favorite part of the whole fun girls' day out event! So why a 3? Well, a day or two later, my cuticles were already growing in. When I pushed them down, there was already a large gap between my cuticles and the polish itself. The polish wasn't crisp and clean, and there were even blotches and some wrinkles in my toenails. Also, they don't have you put your nails under a UV light to set the color, so after a couple of days, my polish started to chip. So minus a star for that. Also, I've been breaking out since I went. I guess my skin isn't used to whatever products that they use. But I know it's not just me, because the other two girls broke out as well. Boo. I'm down for a face massage any day! But... if it comes with a side of pimples, I'm going to have to say no. Minus another star. If I got a free package, I'd consider going back. Also, if you check in, they have a lot of great discounts for some of the services that they offer. My pedicure and manicure were good; however, I want to relax and here music. Not there conversations with one another in a different language. It's so annoying. My parents came out of there massage, but they were disappointed. One lady kept talking on the cell phone and using one hand. What??!!!! Then the other lady was rough and didn't massage the entire time, kept excusing herself. I be back. You relax. What???!!! They did an awesome job on my manicure. I was very pleased with the quality of the service on it, and was made instantly comfortable. It was a pretty busy day, it seemed, but the thing I thought was super cool was that I was offered a free mimosa!, which is one of my favorite drinks. Especially, while being in Texas, mimosas are incredibly refreshing with the weather. They did give me a massage as well, which in comparison to the other reviews, I thought was a great one. I don't get my nails or eyebrows done often, but recently I was looking for some places where I could get them done-- AND places that would be on the way to Houston from Austin. The drive can be long, and I thought it would be fun to stop and relax somewhere, as well as get a few beauty fixes in before going to my cousin's graduation in Houston in the evening. I found Mimosa, and I'm glad I did, because I got what I wanted. So, I just wanted to come back and write a review letting people know about my experience there. First, the (free) mimosa was delicious. It was my first time trying one, and I have fallen in love with them. The decor is really extravagant, but more importantly, the salon itself is clean and bright. I loved the colors! It may be busier and louder on other days and times, but when I was there it was crowded, but not packed or noisy. My eyebrows came out wonderfully, and I liked the selection they provided for my nails. I walked out with the right shape and colors. The prices are just right, and I would recommend joining their mailing list, especially if you live close by and can go often. They have a lot of specials and deals. All in all, I had a nice little break during my drive. It was worth the stop, because I showed up to the graduation looking great and got so many compliments on my eyebrows and nails! Although I only got my nails and eyebrows done, I might go back for a few of their other services when I am back in Houston! read more

What a cute little salon! I've been to this salon a few times already for a mani/pedi. The ladies there are super friendly to me, small talk with me (unlike other salons!), and always offer me something to drink. And yes, they totally serve mimosas! All of their equipment and things are all new and everything is nice and clean. They always offer a few upgraded packages for the mani/pedi, like hot stones or paraffin wax, but I haven't tried them yet. They have lots of different shellac colors, which is a huge plus because I'm very particular. Went for a madi and pedi and they would not give me the coupon price b/c she said my gift certificate was purchased at a 10% discount. Why would that affect how I use my gift?!?! A gift certificate should be the same as cash! So I had to pay FULL price! The mani was rushed and sloppy. The girl that did my pedi did not cut my nails and hardly scrubbed my feet, nail polish was also sloppy! She rushed as well! There was only 3 people in there including myself. This place is horrible. I had nail tech Rachel. Rachel had ZERO customer service. I had to tell her many times she was too rough. She kept Pulling on my finger and stabbing me with her nails. Then to make matters worse they are over priced like crazy. I asked for a manicure with the dipping powder. I basically received a color change. When I asked Rachel about why she didn't cut my cuticles she says "cuticles 5 dollar more". WTF? A 40$ manicure without cutting cuticles and soaking my hands is a rip off. I'll be by this weekend to speak with the manager. Try Legend nails on s. Mason. They understand what should be included for NO EXTRA CHARGE with a manicure and they are nice. I went here about a month back to get a gel fill and my bi-monthly pedicure since I had some time. Pretty good price for what I'm used to paying with the tip I walked out of there under $60 for both. I must have gone at a busy time because it was a little loud but not obnoxiously so. The wait wasn't long, I think I waited maybe 10 minutes. The fill was done well. They use this nail polish type overlay instead of pink buffer cream. They made bubbles on one or two nails but they fixed that. I like a thick white tip so I can file them down after a few weeks. Filled to order lol! So I'm pretty picky when it comes to my pedicures and I have pain in my legs when anyone applies pressure so I asked them not to do that part. I do love a hot soak though, and they turned up the hot water to my liking! I get Shellac on my pedicure and it is still going strong. They had a ring of colors that had a dozen pallets on it or so. I guess if you want variety that is good. I always go for red though because it goes with everything. read more
