From the second I walked in i was transported back to Brooklyn. with memories from my childhood.Family run Italian Deli that I believe has been in business for over 50 years. I went two days before Christmas and boy was it busy. They have everything from italian sandwiches to pastries to lasagna To pizza . I grabbed a fresh mozzarella, a fried chicken cutlet( it was bigger than my head), seafood salad, semolina bread, a couple of rice balls, cannolis and Sfogliatella . Everything was so fresh and delicious. The mozzarella still room temperature. The bread crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The seafood salad with calamari, octopus ,scungilli and shrimp was so awesome . I didn't want to share. Oh, yeah. And I picked up some olives too. It's in Hollywood only a couple of minutes away from the Hard Rock . So if you in the area definitely check this place out

Excellent and extremely authentic. Everybody was very kind and efficient. People are coming in and out all day. Personally the prosciutto and mozzarella was to die for. Both Sandwiches were 10/10. Highly recommend and they're known for their fresh mozzarella! Enjoy!

Sfingi! Huge and filled with cannoli cream! Delicious.

The BEST Zeppole and Sfingi in South Florida hands down. They are huge! Filled with delicious yellow cream or cannoli ricotta cream! No one makes them better! Fantastic! Go get one! You won't be sorry

Really good Italian food products here. Whether you're cooking at home or you're ready to take home just to warm it up. Desserts, coffee what ever your needs. They have there own parking lot. I bought an already made lasagna and just reheated.

Great place to stop at while in Hollywood. We had the chicken parm sandwich and it was very good. We took home the pepperoni bread that was stuffed with a ton of pepperoni and the onion and pepper focaccia bread. Both were very good! And of course we had a cannoli! The cannoli was amazing!

I have always wanted to visit Mimi's Ravioli after trying them at a Hollywood food festival in Young Circle. When I finally got the chance they more than lived up to my expectations. This authentic Italian market is cozy and enchanting. Mimi's has been a labor of love for the Billisi family since 1970. They run an Italian specialties bakery and pasta factory. Every day they churn out homemade ravioli, freshly made pizzas, fresh piped cannoli, crusty breads, cheese, sauce, and more. They have a pizza oven to turn out the best fired pizza and they are especially famous for their house made, hand stretched mozzarella. What they don't make here they import directly from Italy. You can get your pantry staples like oil and vinegar here as well as plates and bowls to serve their pasta masterpieces. Mimi's is well known throughout South Florida for their Italian specialties. You can pick up a meal or they will cater your event. In addition to running the market they participate in many festivals throughout they year but I recommend paying their Hollywood market a visit for the full Mimi's Italian market experience.

The very unprofessional/ Rude no class customer service I received today from...

Had a terrible experience at this place... today around 2pm... deli/ grocery store. Have never been so humiliated by this bald headed dude.. ! it may be the owners son Frank Jr). ‍ Totally disrespectful, unprofessional and freaking rude!! Asked for a Italian sub... Hispanic lady taking order. Didn't know what an Italian sub meats come with.. gave me ticket to pay upfront. Which i did... ask this Hispanic chic at the front where the chips were..? Points towards the isles. I walked up n down and nowhere to be found. I ask her again. Immediately she has an attitude like i was bothering her.. . Still no sandwich ready... people in the back had forgotten to make it i guess... then this guy has an attitude telling me that sandwiches take atleast 1/2 hr to make that i could call ahead next time ‍. No dude!! Thats not acceptable... my husband had order 1 pepperoni slice ... instead they put 2 inside box!! I guess to charge for 2 without us noticing... we paid for it ... we! Finally my sub is ready but i was so upset that at this moment i wanted my $ back... dude gives me an attitude.. why ??? I said because u took to long I want my $$ back... he yelled Fine!! I will give it to a homeless person and please dont come back!!! I was in shock!! Smh!!! Hes so damn rude and shouldn't deal with customers maybe go to church to pray.... Karma will get him... he needs to focus on training hes staff with products knowledge and understanding english... as a priority

Mimi's Ravioli is a wonderful family owned and operated market ran by Mimi herself. You enter into a small store front and don't be surprised there is so much to see & want to try. The freezers are filled with Mimi's homemade raviolis & Manicotti filled with a variety of different fillings. There are also trays of eggplant Parmesan, lasagna, chicken Parmesan and more. They carry pasta, wine, cheeses, canned vegetables, incredible looking desserts and amazing subs too. We ordered 2 subs one chicken Parm, the other prosciutto and mozzarella with tomato. 10/10. Don't forget to look behind the register the have more items to look at and purchase. Definitely get the homemade mozzarella. So yummy. The service was great, they were fast and friendly. Can't wait to go back to this amazing true neighborhood Italian Market.

What a wonderful family owned business that has been around a lifetime! The have a complete Italian market that you can purchase your ingredients from to make your own dish at home, or they have already made frozen items that you can toss into the oven with your favorite sauce and spices. If you are hungry while you are there, they have food to order as well. The service is fast paced, however warm and friendly at the same time. This store isn't close to my home, however I will most definitely take the drive down to pick up more items once I through what we purchased. Enjoy!!

Got a square of chocolate mousse cake and coffee. The cake was very good. Also bought a fresh baguette. The store is packed full of Italian goodies. Fresh prepared foods and frozen foods as well. Lots of bakery items and cooking condiments. They also carry wines and a variety of Italian sodas.

Oh my gosh! We stopped here while visiting family to pick up a cake. What a treasure. They have a bakery counter, Italian groceries, tons of frozen freshly prepared ravioli, veal parm trays, eggplant parm trays etc. It has been in Hollywood FL a long time and I can see why. It's the real deal.

I could just stand in front of the freezer all day to pick my selection. Today was Lobster Sorrentinos- mini ravioli stuffed with lobster and I picked a pesto sauce for the topping. Easy to prepare at home. Definitely delicious to consume. I didn't even check to what fresh pastas were available; this is what I used to purchase all the time. Service was spot on. I walked into the store and a clerk welcomed me and asked if I needed help. Nice. Prices were reasonable. And BTW, they supply all the neighboring restaurants and then some, with the fresh pasta on their menus. Go try it. I know I'll be back. I'm sure I'll be able to up my rating to 5 stars with my next update.

My wife went with the Ravioli stuffed with butternut squash. Isaiah recommended the trio for me as it was the best way to taste three styles of thier pasta. Very attentive and great service. We started with very shareable Ceasar salad, It has crumbled croutons instead of whole croutons. It was missing the crunch. We also shared an order of their Burratta. and a very different kind of Bruschetta. Covered in butternut squash and wipped ricotta. I liked of the three pastas the Malloreddus alla Campidanese. Couple of pet peeves, $9.00 for any bread Foccaci on the table. Especially coming from an Italian heavy city like Chicago I was very happy with the pasta. The salmon gnocchi is my go to. I dream about that dish. The salmon is always perfectly prepared and the gnocchi are delicious. My BFF and husband who have accompanied me on many occasions have tried various pastas from the menu and all were very good- especially the raviolis, but the salmon is my favorite so far and I'm a creature of habit. I have tried every dessert and I really like the Pavlova. But the chocolate cake they had the last time I went was amazing. I don't like very heavy chocolate desserts but it was perfect. The ambiance is great. I love that it's casual but the food is still elevated. The service was good for Miami. For Chicago? No. But definitely very good for Miami.
