Great selection of italian food products. After buying some groceries i decided to try their chicken parm sub. Very good sub and not overpowering cheap red sauce that you Tend to come across at some sub places. This was my first time there and will be back. Their Cannolis are top notch, i will give this place a try for authentic Italian!! read more

It was my first time here and my bf and I decided to order a sandwich, cheese pizza, meat lasagna, cannoli's and 2 sparkling Sicilian drinks. The staff was friendly and attentive. When we first arrived, we looked around the store before placing our order. Once we decided, we didn't wait long before the food came out. They have tables outside so we enjoyed the pizza and sub with our drinks. Then, we tried the cannolis. I love how fresh the pizza tasted and cannolis were also amazing. Between the two flavor Sicilian drinks, I liked the orange more than the lemon. I felt like the lemon was too sour plus it's already bubbly due to the fact it's a sparkling drink but the orange tasted better and natural. It didn't taste as carbonated. It was made to perfection. The chicken cutlet, mozzarella, sun-dried tomato sub was okay, I wasn't a fan of the sun-dried tomato but my bf loved it. He also added the olive oil that came on the side. We would definitely come back to try other things like the chicken parmigiana and maybe another pizza. It's a good spot with a variety of things on their menu. However, there are somethings to keep in mind with visiting which are there store hours, they don't have a bathroom for the public, and , some of the tables are extremely wobbly so be careful where you sit too. Despite those things, you should still check it out. Ps: we had the meat lasagna for dinner and it was amazing. You gotta try it! read more

Seems overrated. Perhaps since it was my first time there it was a lot to take in but no clear menu or pricing and the receipt is also not clear with just random charges and no descriptions. We got 3 subs all of which were over $27 each... for a sandwich?? One of them did not even include the meat! Just cheese on cold bread for $27? When we realized this...they were already closed so we couldn't even go back to tell them. We also ordered cannolis but got less than we ordered in the box and probably got charged for more than they gave us . Perhaps there's something specific that we need to try there and it is not the subs!? read more

Come on Mimi's do better. I asked for pasticiotta and you boxed up the two oldest pastries you had in the case. At $4 each I expected fresh! They went right in the garbage! Certainly after all these years you know how to rotate your product and purge when needed. Shame on you. read more

Mimi's Ravioli - Dried out pastry with filling that has turned to rubber! Taste was disgusting. - Imported Food Near Me - Hollywood, Florida

Had a wonderful experience here and would definitely return. As soon as you park up you can smell how delicious the store is making it feel very authentic Italy walking in. My boyfriend and I shared two slices of pizza - grandma's slice which is just tomato sauce and lots of garlic; (we agreed that this one was the better one of the two) and the a vegetable slice. Both slices were very delicious and tasted fresh. We also shared a sub sandwich with sausage, peppers & onions and parmesan cheese and this was exceptional! The bread was perfectly crunchy out the outside, soft on the inside and soooo fresh. I'm excited most to try more of their sandwiches. We also bought some frozen / packaged goods to take home and enjoy for later. We made the meatballs, fresh pasta and sauce later that evening and everything tasted just as good. The quality was not compromised from being frozen and we were really happy about that. The store itself is very cozy with aisles of oils, sauces, vinegars, dried goods, sweets, spices, etc. It can be a little overwhelming to look through it all. There are coolers of frozen foods and the counter offers fresh cheeses and meats, etc. All in all, this is a fantastic spot to grab a bite to eat, grab something for later or both! read more

From the second I walked in i was transported back to Brooklyn. with memories from my childhood.Family run Italian Deli that I believe has been in business for over 50 years. I went two days before Christmas and boy was it busy. They have everything from italian sandwiches to pastries to lasagna To pizza . I grabbed a fresh mozzarella, a fried chicken cutlet( it was bigger than my head), seafood salad, semolina bread, a couple of rice balls, cannolis and Sfogliatella . Everything was so fresh and delicious. The mozzarella still room temperature. The bread crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The seafood salad with calamari, octopus ,scungilli and shrimp was so awesome . I didn't want to share. Oh, yeah. And I picked up some olives too. It's in Hollywood only a couple of minutes away from the Hard Rock . So if you in the area definitely check this place out read more

I gave mimis one star about a month ago. I tried again. And again, no smiles, no hello, no nothing. There was no one in there so I asked a few prices. Oh Jeeze. That was a bad move. Eye roll. And I asked very kindly. I cant figure all the good reviews. The bread is ok. Not great. The cookies taste stale. Canned goods WAY over priced. Are people that desperate? This is barely passable. read more

I have always wanted to visit Mimi's Ravioli after trying them at a Hollywood food festival in Young Circle. When I finally got the chance they more than lived up to my expectations. This authentic Italian market is cozy and enchanting. Mimi's has been a labor of love for the Billisi family since 1970. They run an Italian specialties bakery and pasta factory. Every day they churn out homemade ravioli, freshly made pizzas, fresh piped cannoli, crusty breads, cheese, sauce, and more. They have a pizza oven to turn out the best fired pizza and they are especially famous for their house made, hand stretched mozzarella. What they don't make here they import directly from Italy. You can get your pantry staples like oil and vinegar here as well as plates and bowls to serve their pasta masterpieces. Mimi's is well known throughout South Florida for their Italian specialties. You can pick up a meal or they will cater your event. In addition to running the market they participate in many festivals throughout they year but I recommend paying their Hollywood market a visit for the full Mimi's Italian market experience. read more

I've been going there for years and the family is always so welcoming. The food is fantastic and the service is amazing.

Service was terrific, food was outstanding 10 out of 10. The ambience was immaculate.

I've been going to Mimi's Ravioli for many years ( more than 20 years for certain ) and picked up many Italian staples depending on what I wanted to cook that day. Never in all those years did I order a slice of their New York style cheesecake. OMG! Although I am not a New Yorker, I actually lived in Brooklyn many years, I went to three schools in Brooklyn, I got married in Brooklyn and we had our first child together in Brooklyn, and oh by the way ate at Junior's Cheesecake more times than I can remember. So you'll forgive me if I come off as one of those typical New Yorkers who thinks everything is better in NYC. Sorry, but Mimi's cheesecake is way better than Junior's Cheesecake. Not even a close comparison. read more

Mimi's Ravioli is a wonderful family owned and operated market ran by Mimi herself. You enter into a small store front and don't be surprised there is so much to see & want to try. The freezers are filled with Mimi's homemade raviolis & Manicotti filled with a variety of different fillings. There are also trays of eggplant Parmesan, lasagna, chicken Parmesan and more. They carry pasta, wine, cheeses, canned vegetables, incredible looking desserts and amazing subs too. We ordered 2 subs one chicken Parm, the other prosciutto and mozzarella with tomato. 10/10. Don't forget to look behind the register the have more items to look at and purchase. Definitely get the homemade mozzarella. So yummy. The service was great, they were fast and friendly. Can't wait to go back to this amazing true neighborhood Italian Market. read more

What a wonderful family owned business that has been around a lifetime! The have a complete Italian market that you can purchase your ingredients from to make your own dish at home, or they have already made frozen items that you can toss into the oven with your favorite sauce and spices. If you are hungry while you are there, they have food to order as well. The service is fast paced, however warm and friendly at the same time. This store isn't close to my home, however I will most definitely take the drive down to pick up more items once I through what we purchased. Enjoy!! read more

Moved here from Long Island so I'm used to lots of Italian specialty stores. Tried Doris's but I wasn't impressed. Mimi's was better but soooo expensive read more

I should not be telling yall about this place. It's been a staple for my family for 4 generations now. If you like picking up their ravioli at Doris' market, you'll love coming here bc the selection is INCREDIBLE. The staff knows my family and isn't surprised when we order ravioli by the case. I also think their biscotti is unbeatable, chocolate and almond is my go to and no I don't care how much it costs for a big container. We also grab fresh mozzarella and hard to find imported Italian non perishables (like good olive oil by the jug). If you care about an Italian in your life, you need to direct them here. Better yet, go yourself and immerse yourself in our culture that loves food and family. read more

One of my favorite Italian markets. I stopped in for the cappuccino and the friendly atmosphere. This market makes great coffee. It is not so advertised but it should be. I recommend trying it. This is a place that is hard not to buy. The dessert counter looks so yummy. I ended up with some types of claw desserts that tasted great. I also recommend the fresh mozzarella. They have different types. I liked the smoked but all are good. I noticed a bigger expansion or maybe it's me on the cooked food. It is told by the pound. Everything looks so good. I got the Chicken Franchise. I can wait to try it. The service and staff friendliness is great. They make you feel good and they really do try to help you. They are very good with suggestions. I am glad I stopped in today. read more

Definitely a Hollywood/ Pembroke Pines stable for good Italian food & goodies. We always stop in for their pizza and cheesecake. The NEW YORK cheesecake here is top tier. I felt like I just hopped of the subway in little Italy with the smell of fresh cheeses and homemade pizza filling the store. Pizza is more of a homemade style which is also good. And the chicken cutlets are one of my faves . If you have a craving for Italian food or looking for ingredients I will definitely recommend. Had a terrible experience at this place... today around 2pm... deli/ grocery store. Have never been so humiliated by this bald headed dude.. ! it may be the owners son Frank Jr). ‍ Totally disrespectful, unprofessional and freaking rude!! Asked for a Italian sub... Hispanic lady taking order. Didn't know what an Italian sub meats come with.. gave me ticket to pay upfront. Which i did... ask this Hispanic chic at the front where the chips were..? Points towards the isles. I walked up n down and nowhere to be found. I ask her again. Immediately she has an attitude like i was bothering her.. . Still no sandwich ready... people in the back had forgotten to make it i guess... then this guy has an attitude telling me that sandwiches take atleast 1/2 hr to make that i could call ahead next time ‍. No dude!! Thats not acceptable... my husband had order 1 pepperoni slice ... instead they put 2 inside box!! I guess to charge for 2 without us noticing... we paid for it ... we! Finally my sub is ready but i was so upset that at this moment i wanted my $ back... dude gives me an attitude.. why ??? I said because u took to long I want my $$ back... he yelled Fine!! I will give it to a homeless person and please dont come back!!! I was in shock!! Smh!!! Hes so damn rude and shouldn't deal with customers maybe go to church to pray.... Karma will get him... he needs to focus on training hes staff with products knowledge and understanding english... as a priority read more

I really wanted to love this place since I had read so many great reviews but unfortunately my experience was just pretty average. The place was very small, kind of hard to walk around in, which I wasn't a big fan of but if you don't mind people constantly bumping into you then this is the place for you! There was no prices on many of the items which just strikes me as kind of strange. For instance, I ordered 2 subs and then found out they were $18.99 each. That's absolutely insane. I also had asked about having them on seeded Italian bread which they said I'd have to purchase a loaf of their bread separately for $5 more and they can make it on it. Whoever heard of an Italian deli not having seeded bread to make their subs, hoagies, heroes or whatever you want to call them?! I passed on the subs. The only thing I ended up buying was their home made mozzarella cheese which was very good for $19 but not good enough that I'd be rushing back there anytime soon. The food in the cases looked fine but nothing that really caught my eye so I only ended up with the cheese. Was going to buy some ravioli since that's what they're known for but the no prices on any of the different ravioli made me pass on buying it. I think this was a one and done visit for me. read more
