I was going for the sidelines entertainment. Who knew I'd be treated to a heart-stopping barn-burner of a game where the Bucks pulled it out in the last seconds before the buzzer and Giannis had a career high-scoring game? Wow! The Bucks are beautiful to behold, folks. I've gone to a game or so a season every year for the last few seasons. It's fabulous to see how they've grown as a team and an organization. The momentum they are building up to the new arena is contagious. I can't wait to see what the future holds for Milwaukee's team. But let's talk for a minute about the off-court engagement the Bucks have going on, including: --Corporate sponsorship. Nice to see Potawatomi and Harley Davidson among others added to the roster this year. They bring a nice element of entertainment. Bango clothed in a motorcycle jacket riding a fat boy on the court is an all-around pinnacle of mascot stunts. --Let's discuss Bango. He is amazing and easily the most athletically talented mascot in the city if not the state! You see him everywhere interacting with the crowd, personable, and he's jumping off trampolines during time outs. We personally witnessed him climbing over a Portland Trailblazers fan to get to a spot where he could take a selfie with a single mom and her son. Priceless! My 30-something cohort said she was in love with him. 'Nuff said! --Music. They had a band in the lobby which was a nice touch of entertainment. And then there was the performance of the national anthem by Josh Quinn. He nailed it! --Sidelines. There's the cheerleaders, the folks who amp the crowds, the endless t-shirt giveaways, the trampoline artists, the inflatable mascots. This is family entertainment at its finest! Catch the energy and excitement of a Bucks game by going - soon. You'll be glad you did!

    Go Bucks!!!!

Love the Bucks! Love the Bucks! So much fun any night of the week. Can't wait till the new arena opens - more fun in a new fancy place. Food options even in Bradley center are pretty good. Bucks just need a bigger gift shop to sell more swag

How can I not give the Bucks 5 stars. Always fun to see them live and the deals they offer thru their email offers make things so affordable. 1/3 the price you would have to pay going to a neighboring bulls game. It will be nice when the new stadium is built and hopefully the pricing won't skyrocket. The surrounding area is great too. Lots of options for food and drinks before or after the game. Hotels walkable to the stadium make it easy for visitors to hit a game too. DA BUCKS!

    Go bucks! Yay

He truly knows how to help create an electric atmosphere and interact with anyone from new fans to long-time season ticket holders. The best part about the Wave is that they host autographs on the field after every game with most of the players. This team truly cares about making a memorable fan experience.

Now at UW-M Panther Arena (the old Arena, just west of BMO Harris Bradley Center), the games are high-scoring, and they try to make the games fun, it's just that with less than 1,000 people at a game- it's kind of not as thrilling as going to see a Bucks game, or even an Admirals game. My son and I went on 80's night, and the Wave crew did a great job spinning all manner of 80's music, from early breakdance hip-hop, to hair metal, to Top 40. There's lots of in between time for on-field audience activities, check their website to enter if you're going to a match! Our fave players were Bennett and Pablo (it's just 'Pablo', like Sting, Prince, Beckham...). I was happy to see a local restaurant 'the Simmer' offering healthy food for the night, and people responded by lining up for kale and black bean salads, and the like. Milwaukee sports stadiums need more of this- rent out your space to local restaurants for unique options. We really did enjoy the game, but my expectations are just lowered with more of a small market experience.

The modern day Milwaukee Brewers was established in 1968 as the Seattle Pilots, which was then moved a year later to Milwaukee by owner Bud Selig, who also became the MLB baseball commissioner in 1998. He held the title of acting commissioner since 1992. Actually, the original Milwaukee Brewers was established in 1901, which then became the present day Baltimore Orioles. So when Selig moved the team to Milwaukee, they became the official Brewers again. They also played in the American League from 1969 to 1997. They were in the West Division from 1968 to 1971, then reassigned to the East Division from 1972 to 1993, then reassigned again to the Central Division from 1994 to 1997. In 1998, they changed conference to the National League staying in the Central Division to present day. The Brewers is appropriately named to honor the city's beer-brewing tradition. One of their original logo was the Beer Barrel Man, which is designed in a cartoonish way with a barrel for chest, a beer tap for his nose and was nicknamed as "Owgust" to embody and honor the whimsical spirit of the minor leagues. The most iconic logo was the glove design with a baseball in the middle, the three finger webbings as the "M" and the thumb stood for the "B" for Milwaukee Brewers. This was their logo from 1978 to 1993 and it was one of the coolest logos in baseball. The owners decided to change it to generic-looking "MB" with two baseball bats crossed in the middle. I know lots of fans were upset about this, and they eventually brought the logo back to some capacity. The Brewer player I remember growing up as a San Francisco Giants fan was Robin Yount. He spent his entire career with the Brewers, which is rare nowadays with free agency and ring-chasing among players. He started as a shortstop and finished as a center fielder from 1973 to 1994. A long and illustrious career that resulted in two AL MVP's (1982, 1989), 3x All Star (1980, 1982, 1989), Gold Glove (1982), 3x Silver Slugger Award (190, 1982, 1989), which culminated to being inducted to Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999. During his 20 year career, he batted an average of .285, had 3, 142 hits, 251 homeruns and 1,406 RBI's. Then when you think of Milwaukee Baseball, there's the legendary Bob Uecker, also known as "Mr. Baseball" given by the late Johnny Carson. He has been the play-by-play announcer for the club since 1971, and is still going strong to this day. He's also played himself in countless movies and his famous line is, "Just a bit outside." He is truly a treasure not just in Baseball, but in sports broadcasting. OK, being a San Francisco Giants fan, I gotta tie this in somehow. Several Giants players were chosen to play in the All Star game in 2002, which was held at Miller Park (the ballpark's original name), and Barry Bonds participated in the HR Derby. This is also the only All Star game that resulted in a tie, which led to the ridiculous rule that the winner of the All Star game gets the home-field advantage in the World Series. Thank goodness they got rid of the rule in 2016. On Friday, May 27, 2011, San Francisco Giants Shortstop Brandon Crawford made his major league debut and hit a grand slam against Brewers pitcher, Shaun Marcum, giving the Giants a 5-4 lead, and eventually winning the game. How's that for your first big league hit? As far as rivalries are concerned, the Giants and Brewers doesn't have must history against each other as they play in a different division. However, there's a mutual respect between ball clubs and Giants play-by-play announcer Duane Kuiper, half of the "Kruk & Kuip" tandem, is from Sturtevant, Wisconsin, and always has a lot of fond stories to tell regarding growing up in the area and the history of baseball. I hope this review made you proud, Chadrick. Hope to see your team in the playoffs.

All but the Mexico-based Capitanes began play in the 2017-18 season. The Herd did well in the last season the team played, the 2019-20 season that was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic. That season, head coach Chase Buford led the team to the top of the Central Division standings with a 33-10 (.767) record. Chase is the son of San Antonio Spurs executive and five-time NBA champion, RC Buford. He's since been hired to become the new head coach of the Sydney Kings in the National Basketball League (NBL) of Oceania. The Herd was one of 11 teams to opt out of the "2020-21" season which, like the 2020 NBA Bubble, took place inside a bubble at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex outside of Orlando. The regular season was only 15 games and the eight-team playoff was single-elimination. The 2021 G League Bubble took place February 9 through March 11, 2021. The Herd are the 2021 NBA champion Milwaukee Bucks' G League affiliate. The Herd play in the 3,500-seat Oshkosh Arena, just south of the Fox River and downtown Oshkosh. It's roughly 90 miles / a 1.5-hour drive north of the Bucks' home, Fiserv Forum in downtown Milwaukee. Notable players to suit up in the green and cream include 2021 NBA champion (Bucks) Thanasis Antetokounmpo, 2021 NBA champion (Bucks) and 2016 and 2018 NCAA champion (Villanova) Donte DiVincenzo, former Bucks star Brandon Jennings, 2017 NCAA champion (North Carolina) Luke Maye, 2019 G League champion (Rio Grande Valley Vipers) and 2021 G League Defensive Player of the Year (Raptors 905) Gary Payton II, 2015 NCAA champion (Duke) Marshall Plumlee, and 2020-21 Houston Rockets breakout big man Christian Wood. For the 2021-22 season, Herd season tickets are available for as low as $216 for the entire 24-game season ($9 per game) and up to $3,120 ($130 per game) for the best seats in the house - center court - with food, beverage, and priority parking included. Welcome to the world of the ECHL where anything is possible. The Sears Centre is home to a new hockey club (Chicago Express) where if you want to hear the slashing sounds on the ice or the roaring whistle of a train as a goal is scored; you are more than welcome. Chicago has been lucky enough to be granted with three levels of professional hockey and this is definitely no exception. An Affiliate of the NHL's Blue Jackets, the Express skate with determination and skill that make it perfect to watch while they are growing as professional players. The venue itself isn't overly large and offers pretty much a decent seat from both sides of the rink. The Sears Centre suits the bill for holding the sounds of the ice and the crowd without making you think there could be a concert the next night. Because the Express club is still so fresh and so clean, seats are readily available for every game. We're talking, if you wanted to be bangin' on the glass come this Saturday (or when the next home game is) you'll probably find out that your luck--is in tact. For this particular outing, I ended up sitting rows behind the benches for which I have to admit...I am skeptical and should have opted for the other side but couldn't for the life of me get the ticket site figured out. Ten rows up from the ice is still a pretty sweet view--even if you're somewhat behind the benches. The crowd has taken the Express to heart already which is very warming, because they are a brand new franchise. Loud cat calls, whistles and screams to skate to the center is something that will be of a common fixture for the night. Tickets are definitely affordable. To sit in the lower 100 level tickets start as low as $17, and sitting behind the glass if that is your fancy is only $25. For anyone in need of getting a hockey fix this is a great option to choose from. Parking itself is standard for the Centre, look to spend about $10 to park easily across the way from the arena entrance.
