Overall good work, but would definitely call it average for the cost of the service. I have a 3 tank aerobic system. They were able to get me on their calendar within a couple of days; showed up on time (called ahead with an accurate arrival time). Service techs were polite, clean and professional, the truck was clean and in good condition: pumped out 2 tanks with no issues and really quickly. Cost Pump out of trash tank $400 Pump out of pump tank $185 Insurance, dump fee, travel and fuel $25 3 stars because the job was not 100% completed for the service requested. Probably should not be claiming number 1 status unless your work is above the rest of the septic community. They did not clean the Air pump filter, reset the enzymes in the trash tank, or the chlorine in the pump tank. When you pay for a service, you should not have to finish the work that is clearly part of the procedure you payed for. read more

I called because my septic was tripping the breaker. They sent a pump truck and told me that I needed all 3 tanks pumped and did not address the reason for the service call, the breaker. The price changed 4 times while they were there and they added on $150 "extra time" fees for pumping the 3 tanks, which the time should've been included in the pump costs. They charged me $1440 which I was not told up front and did not fix the issue and then said that they were backed up on service calls and it might be a couple weeks before they could look into the issue with the breaker tripping. They upsold me on pumping tanks that didn't need to pumped and overcharged me. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS! read more

We called because the unit was giving a system alarm and it turned out to be a pump issue. We live almost in Kansas and they made it up to us in a very reasonable time and are very good about communication to the customer. My husband and I are extremely disappointed in this company. Milty Boys installed an aerobic tank on our property in March 2024, and we were so pleased with the quality of work that we signed up for their bi-monthly maintenance program, which is $70 every other month and after two years, the tank is pumped for free. In February 2025, the technician who came to do the routine maintenance messed something up and our septic system stopped running for weeks until its water level alarm started going off. We even verified with our security cameras that the septic was operating every night up until the technician came, and after that, it stopped. We immediately called Milty Boys, but by the time they finally got out here the following week, the entire septic system had overflowed and was spilling out through the inoperable sprayers. The technicians that showed up blamed it all on us and said that we were just dumping grease down our garbage disposal, which is ridiculous because we don't even use our garbage disposal, much less use it to dispose of grease (like who even does that???). Furthermore, if we were in the habit of dumping grease down the garbage disposal, then why hasn't evidence of this shown up during any of the 11 previous months when Milty Boys has checked our system and found zero issues? What it comes down to is that Milty Boys simply doesn't want to take accountability and pay for their own worker's costly mistake. The technicians even agreed that our explanation makes more sense than their accusation, but that's where any amount of responsibility stopped. My husband made multiple attempts to speak with someone in charge and get this resolved, and no one at this company cared enough to do that. We ended up paying $1257 to get our one-year-old septic system working again after Milty Boys caused it to shut down and completely overflow, and that's on top of the $420 that we had already put into the bi-monthly maintenance program. This company majorly screwed us over, and I guarantee they'll do it to you too because they care more about ignoring their own mistakes for the sake of profit than they do about being accountable to the loyal customers who trust them. read more

I currently live out of state in Washington D.C, and Cisco was able to help bridge the gap for me in order to help support my elderly family members. Being from the area, I know that small towns mean big hearts. Cisco came out in the dark with his team to pump out the septic, worked in an area that's difficult to get to, and was gracious when interacting with my family. He was upfront honest and transparent about the costs and work that needed to be done. Not being in the area to help means that it takes a bit of an emotional toll not being able to be hands on myself. After my grandfather passed at Christmas, it's been a rough couple of weeks for our family. I was referred to Milty's by a friend. When I called I was told the septic truck was in for repair. The lady answering the phone asked if she could take my name and number and said she would call when the truck was up and running again. In a couple of weeks I received a call and text to let me know they were ready to make an appointment to come to my place. Cisco was very professional and informative. He quickly uncovered the septic tank. I asked many questions since this was the first time that I had septic pumping services and he was very knowledgeable. He gave me welcomed advice and when I asked about a product to add to the septic, he had the product with him to purchase. Very convenient! The fizzy tabs are only used once a month (one tablet), in one toilet and I bought a two year supply for $70. This made it easier than going to the store to try and figure out what product to buy and the amount to use. So grateful to have such a good, honest service to help with a necessary need! read more
