The dryers can only be 7 min at a time - which is a little frustrating- knowing my bedding would take at least 45 min - it slowed the process down having to sit there and constantly add more money/ time. The small machine can fit 2 standard pillows and the largest machine can fit 2 Korean faux mink blankets - those extra thick and extra heavy blankets! Even if this was not the only laundromat in Milton , I would not go anywhere else . It is very clean the prices are reasonable and the owner is very personable and one of the nicest people you will ever know Someone is always available if you need anything at the gas station next door, also owned by the same man. They have rolled quarters , detergent , and anything else you might forget . There is a restraunt across the street you can grab a bite to eat then take the kids to the playground also right there . My apartment complex has its own laundry facility, but it's small, a little dirty, and frequently full. So, 5 months ago I decided to find a nearby alternative. That's when I first tried Milton Laundry and got hooked. This place is perfect. No, seriously. The machines, both washers and dryers, are quite new and surprisingly quiet with electronic controls and cleaning options. The premises are kept clean and tidy by friendly attendants who also do alterations and sell laundry supplies from a counter (limited hours). There's a bathroom, a couch, chairs, small chairs for children, and even a big flat-screen TV. Nice touches. And plenty of carts and clean table space to fold your clothes. I mostly do my laundry in the evening, so usually I'm the only person there. If you need quarters, just visit the adjacent mini-mart where the owner of both businesses (or whoever is working) gladly dispenses change. He's a really nice guy. I should also mention that in 5 months of doing weekly laundry here I've yet to encounter a problem with a machine (or anything else). Sweet. So far, the only thing worth whining about is occasional noisy, wild children. But that's not the laundry's fault. A few extra-large glue traps would solve that problem nicely. read more

I havent been to a Laundromat in ages!! My mother and aunt recommended this place to me! And i had to go check it out!! I got there around 5pm with hardly anybody there on a Sunday. I took a couple of items to get tailored. I had lost weight and needed them to be form fitting and smaller. The Tailor didn't really listen to my needs when tailoring my jeans. They were as big as they were when I took them and she still charged me $60 for a Blouse and the jeans. I was moving to Washington the next day so I couldn't demand she fix them 5he way I wanted. Really I'd give 2.5 stars if I could. Got the job done... A few things worth knowing: the gas station in the same parking lot owns the laundromat and you have to go there if you need cash or change (no change machine or atm on laundromat site). They do NOT do cash back on debit purchases so you have to pay the atm fee and they only give out quarters in $10 increments. Laundromat itself looks exactly like the one I used to frequent as a kid. 25 years ago. Nothing fancy, clean enough I suppose. Overall it's ok if you're in a bind and need a quick wash but if you need a regular place I'd definitely keep looking. read more

What an over-all great experience at Milton laundry! Thank you Management and staff for excellent customer service, a clean facility, and machines that actually work!! I have this obnoxiously heavy (even when dry) king size, yet wonderfully warm blanket... I usually delay washing it because it so expensive to dry. However, the owner assured me that machines would spin a majority of the water out and drying wouldn't take as long! To my surprise, he was right... I was in and out in under an hour, spent just under $10, and finally have a wonderfully clean smelling blanket laying on the bed! See you in a few weeks for another wash!! Thanks again. read more
