I've walked past this place countless times and have never even considered it until this day when…read moremy coworkers wanted to meet up and grab a bite. I'm not a huge beer drinker but was still impressed at the plethora of options (International beer on the 2nd floor, Domestic Beer on the first floor, and a separate liquor bar on the first floor as well). So if you are looking for a LOT OF BEER OPTIONS, this is a good place to start/try. I tried a flight of ciders because that's as close to beer as I would typically get (I've attempted to try so many with beer fest but I just can't get into it) and I couldn't choose what I wanted so I had the wonderful bartender select them for me. She provided amazing, friendly service because as indecisive as I can be, she was very patient. For a meal, I order the Jalapeño burger and it was delicious. The jalapeño is basically the sauce that gives the kick you're looking for, not actual jalapeños, and it comes with plenty of fries. Again, I left not a single crumb lol This place is really cool inside and looks like something out of a fairytale with the trees growing through the restaurant. I love plants and nature so for me it was everything. I'd love to see it at night and check out how it's lit up, certain it looks beautiful!

This was probably my 5th time at the Beer Garden on Glenwood. I love all of the outside seating and…read moreputt-putt in the back. I was looking to share a steak with my dog and know how dog friendly it is here. I ordered the steak medium but it really came out medium rare, I ate the outer edges and my dog had a feast! Probably won't be my go to spot for steak but the wings and shrimp are super solid. Service was a little slow but I wasn't in a rush so it was okay.

We came here on a Thursday for a late lunch. I do not recommend the burger melt. Despite it having…read moremelted cheese and caramelized onions, it had no taste. I thought beef had a naturally salty taste but there was nothing. The buffalo chicken sandwich was decent. I think the buffalo sauce and Cole slaw saved it because the chicken didn't have much of a taste either. I ordered fries originally but they delivered potatoes to me. The server that delivered the food quickly put in an order for fries to fix the first servers error and I'm glad he did. The fries saved the meal. They were cooked perfectly and hot. I'd come back here for the fries for sure. After we got our food, the servers just forgot about us and another customer that had been there for about the same amount of time that we had. We were in the restaurant another 15 minutes trying to get the attention of a server to come give us our check. The original server never came back even though we could see him at a register near the kitchen. The new server had to ask us what our order was and ring us out under her name because our original server was doing something else nearby and not being helpful to us.

The waitress was great about bringing us everything we needed. I ordered the salmon filet on greens with sweet potato cakes. The salmon was great - perfectly cooked, and the greens seemed fresh, but the whole dish was doused in a sweet maple syrup sauce, which rendered the sweet potato cakes so soaked that I couldn't choke them down. I left most of the greens as well, since the maple syrup didn't really go with a salad. The fish was fine, as I could salt it a bit and have serve as a foil to the sauce. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their food. The Rueben looked amazing. So, the moral of the story is, when you go to a bar, don't try to eat healthy! Get the bar food.
