2 large slices of pepperoni, sausage & Canadian bacon. One word! Delicious!
Eric W.

First and foremost, the pizza at this location is to die for! Yes, I understand a large pizza might be considered a-little pricey to some of us! But what I've learned throughout my lifetime is that you get exactly what you pay for (I.e. quality) & you pay for what you get (I.e. quality)! Bottom line is the food is delicious! The service is good! and while the El Cajon blvd spot is small, the ambiance is big!

Mama Mia, that's a good pizza. Chef's kiss! Absolutely exceeds my expectations. Who woulda known this lil mom and pop shop around the corner from my house had some heat. Such good bang for your buck, the quality ingredients and the quantity you get is mind blowing. Def one of fav spots. The San Diegan is a must. The thin crust, and the flavors just blend so well with each other. The staff are so friendly and inviting too. Highly recommend coming here!

First time here and this is the best pizza I've had in San Diego - as a fan of crispy thin crust pizza, I feel not a lot of places nail it but Milo's sure did! - had to take a bite before taking the picture. Sooooo good and came out super fast, less than 5 minute wait time, will definitely come here next time I'm craving pizza! They offer pizza by the slice as well as entire ones. This establishment also has parking, a few tables, and was very clean. No complaints!

Perfect bottom crust!

If you're a pizza lover, you know that not all pies are created equal. Our absolute favorite? The San Diegan! Every bite is a burst of big flavor that keeps us coming back for more. What sets the San Diegan apart? First and foremost, it's crispy yet chewy with the delicious toppings that follow along with the perfect bottom crust. Each slice is a harmonious blend of flavors that dance on your palate, making it a must-try for anyone who appreciates a great pizza. Great service even though it is just a small pizza place!

Pesto Pizza

I've been coming to Milo's for years. They have a special buy two slices and a soda for a deal. Sodas are always cold, pizza is always made fresh! I ordered the pesto pizza and the works over the weekend. My favorite was the pesto pizza. Both were crispy, fresh ingredients, tasted so darn good. Pesto pizza had blend of basil, ricotta, garlic and Mozzarella cheese. The works pizza had pepperoni, sausage, mushroom, onion, green bell pepper, salami and olives. Staff is always fun and friendly. Parking is a hit or miss, very tight parking spots.

Not an expiration date, insight! And was denied these prices such a shame

Absolutely Horrible customer service experience with this pizza place. I have a door hanger flyer that I've had for maybe a year? No promotion dates or expiration dates listed on there so I figured I was good to order with the same prices that I was provided. To my surprise when I called, I was pretty much being accused of lying or making up what I was telling them based off of the flyer they kept insisting I had the wrong location and that this absolutely was nothing that they'd ever heard of before. I was prompted to send a text message to some random phone number showing them the flyer for them to then tell me that they've already changed and upped their prices 4 to 5 times since that flyer. But again with no dates or expiration or saying promotion last for this long, I feel that I should've been given what I was advertised. Not my fault they forgot to put a promotion time limit and/or expiration dates on their flyer. The guy was trying to explain how expensive cheese is right now and it sounded so incredibly stupid and unprofessional . We all know the world is super expensive right now. But I can't believe it's cheaper to buy pizza in La Jolla versus some little place by San Diego State University... mind blowing! Safe to safe I will never return here!

TL;DR: college pizza - come if you want to save a buck or two but don't come expecting to find the best pie Pro: huge pies for a the price Cons: the toppings tasted canned, the sauce was so grossly sweet and tin-flavored we had to stop eating Service was relatively quick but pretty frazzled Despite being walking distance and thinking maybe other pies might be better, I won't be back. Not getting fooled twice - not trying to eat canned or jarred pizza again

It was an experience…read more We sat tucked away in a little corner that honestly felt like we were having dinner in someone's grandmother's house, and I mean that in the BEST way possible. Cozy, warm, intimate and welcoming. And the FOOD?! I was convinced somebody's Italian grandmother had to be downstairs hand making that pasta because there was no other explanation. I had the lobster ravioli and started with the bruschetta tostada. Everything was absolutely chef's kiss. Fresh, flavorful and tasted like it was made with love. But what made the experience even better was our waiter, Mauricio! He was simply amazing. He genuinely took care of us, shared the story of the restaurant and talked about how much he enjoyed working there. And you could tell. It showed in the way he treated us and the attention he gave throughout the entire meal. Great food is one thing. Great food paired with genuine hospitality is something completely different. I will DEFINITELY be back the next time I'm in San Diego. If you're looking for homemade pasta, amazing food and that warm family feel, put this place on your list. You will not be disappointed.

Then we had the Tartufona and I think that's my absolute favorite pasta! We also had Arrabbiatissima and it was a little spicy but it was good. I definitely prefer the Tartufona better though. We also tried the octopus and everything they had on the plate just works SO WELL together. We almost licked the plate clean!! I normally don't like a lot of seafood but I loved this appetizer. For dessert we had tiramisu and they brought up the ladyfingers separately and poured espresso and other stuff on it in front of us so the ladyfingers dun get too soggy. I'm usually not a sweets person but I loved this too. First time trying tor Italian soda. They said blood orange one is the best but it was so out so we tried lime. I liked it. Also ordered a lemonade. It's very mild but it was very good, not too sour. Wish they brought this restaurant to Chicago! 100% recommend!!!

Outstanding. I loved my experience here…read more I appreciated the service, I had a reservation and was seated quickly. If you don't have a reservation you may wait a while as it was packed even on a Monday night. They were attentive to my requests and quick to offer recommendations when I asked. The cocktail I tried was perfectly balanced and I loved the addition of the thyme, it actually added to the experience of the cocktail rather than functioning as just a garnish. I love a Spanish octopus dish so I couldn't pass this one up, AND I don't recommend you do either! It was exceptional. I think romesco and pulpo are a match made in heaven. Please try it. Couldn't pick between the pastas so I ended up with both the bolognese and funghi options, the bolognese being my favorite. The pasta was cooked beautifully. I did love the rich umami of the mushrooms, but if anything it may have been a bit too much on the rich side. The portions are truly massive so any of their pasta dishes can function as several meals. Not featured in the pictures is their tiramisu which was a reason to go all by itself. The restaurant was a bit warm during the heat wave but still pleasant. the vibes were comfortable, colorful, and welcoming Overall a really great experience and I'll certainly be back next time I'm in town

Service is good; the servers are very enthusiastic about recommendations. They seem to tend to make small talk in case that's not your style. They are very attentive with checking in and clearing plates. Food: 1. Artichoke special - Delicious, super rich and a little sour. Comes with 3 big hearts/stems, olives, and parm. 2. Caprese - They use an excellent quality burrata. Rich and milky and paired great with their heirloom tomatoes. 3. Squid ink pasta - Lots of fresh seafood. Light tomato sauce for those who aren't into cream sauce. 4. Pumpkin mushroom lasagna special - Don't be discouraged by the pumpkin, the flavor is very mild. Adds the barest hint of sweetness. Very cheesy, overall a solid lasagna. 5. Ear pasta with sausage - Came highly recommended as one of their most popular items. I loved it! It's like a combo sausage pizza in pasta form, and I say this very positively. I love the crunchy broccoli pieces which add a different texture and some sweetness. The cream sauce is super savory and not terribly heavy. The sausage has a fennel flavor which some might not be for everyone but I was a fan. 6. Osobucco with mushroom tagliatelle - Well executed. the osobucco is just slightly on the milder side. The tagliatelle was also delicious, a nice light cream sauce with lots of umami mushroom flavor. The only negative to me was the bread. A little dry, not served very hot. They make all their pasta fresh in house which is a nice plus. Overall a great meal.
