A treat from the cheese pull gods. This place is takeout only and it takes a bit for the food to come out, we waited about 20 minutes. There's no seating inside or out so I would recommend calling ahead and just picking up. We got the turkey sandwich and the cheese calzone. The turkey sandwich was yummy, had nice soft bread and fresh veggies. And the cheese calzone? SO cheesy. The cheese pull went so crazy it was almost too much haha. This is hands down My family's favorite pizza joint in San Diego.. I'll go by saying, I'm a NYC Pizza connoisseur! Hoboken Connoisseur... I've had pizza all over Los Angeles and basically everywhere in San Diego that's good ( I lived in downtown for 10 years ). My ex even owned his own brick oven pizza company so I know my pizza! This is what you order : The Guissepe Works ( omg let me tell you yum!!!! )... Sometimes we get the family special it's a great deal if you are entertaining people. Love this place. It's a tiny little spot, no seating, so I usually just call ahead and order my pizza. It's always got the most deliciously thick layer of cheese on top of the toppings. The sauce has great flavor and the crust is perfectly chewy. Service is quick and friendly. read more

Been coming here for their food for years. But lately the constancy has not been there. Both pizzas had so much cheese you could not taste anything eked the toppings. We ended up not eating most of it. The doughy was great as always. The bummer is I wrote to them with the date and time do they could speak to the guys a reiterate the process to making thier great pizza. They never responded. This place SUX!!!!!! The rep spoke like he was on cracc! I could not understand a word he said. He never asked me how much I would like to tip my driver. He just assumed I was tipping $2.00! Everytime I order for pick-up the order is 15 to 20 minutes later than the time I was told to pick up the order. I will not say that is the worse part. Tonight I placed an order and of course I had to wait per usual. I was charged and told to come back in 5 to 10 minutes. I come back 15 minutes later only to be completed ignored by the girl at the register absolutely rude and unpleasant. This place is getting a reputation for their rude employees and terrible customer service. As someone quite familiar with customer service the employees do not make the cut. Someone should train the employees in proper customer service and after all of that the pizzas were burnt The Pizza tasted like a cracker. Overall Terrible... They barely drain the spaghetti so it's sitting in water till I get home and drain it. The salad that is included with the dinner is a joke... total throw away. I wish I could give them 0 stars because this is a JOKE. I placed an order for my boyfriend to pick up around 4:30. Mind you, I worked until 6 and just got home at 6:30 ready to eat my food. I told the man over the phone that I wanted manicotti but NO MEAT. I literally asked him "there's no meat in that right? I can't eat meat." He said let me check-- went and checked, "nope there's no meat." I get home and open the food. It's very clearly in a meat sauce. I call the guy back and nicely ask if it can be remade because I can't eat meat. He says I can BUY another one, but there will be no refund or remake. Are you kidding me? The food is UNEATEN and will not be eaten because I'm a vegetarian. I recently moved down the street and we've been here a few times and never had any issues. NEVER again. Terrible service.
