Our nonprofit has used them for years, but in the last few, customer service has taken a dive. Replaced an owned printer last year with a newer refurbished model and renewed lease. We added a folding element since our folding machine was defunct. When the new model arrived, we discovered that its folder could not perform the size and type of fold we needed (which had been specifically communicated to the sales rep). We were promised that the company would resolve the matter, either with a folder that could do the job or reimbursement for the cost of repairing our machine. Neither of these assurances were honored, and finally the rep stopped communicating. Calls to customer service were ferried up the chain of command, then back down, with no resolution. We finally gave up and repaired our folding machine at our own expense, and have to put up with a large, clunky piece of equipment attached to our printer, that does nothing useful, and remains on the lease. Print quality has been subpar, but we have not bothered asking for service, since Milner obviously doesn't care. Invoices are continually sent to the wrong email address despite repeated requests to update our contact info; then they have the gall to accuse us of late or missed payments and cop an attitude when we correct them. We look forward to the day this lease is up so we can replace their derelict equipment with something decent, and will never use them again. read more

Milner promised delivery of toner overnight. I said I would pay for overnight delivery as my company desperately needed the toner. This was after the company failed to deliver the oner ordered over a week ago. Service department said that there was a glitch on their end as to why the toner wasn't shipped. Then they said they have no way of knowing if an item has been shipped or not unless the customer calls them to ask where is the ordered item. Then they will check with the shopping department to see if an item had been shipped or not. They do not use FedEx or UPS to ship overnight, but they instead use a "no name" unreliable courier service for their delivery service. This courier service has no way of being able to track orders that have been shipped. The courier service does not contact you to let you know when to expect them. So, instead of shipping overnight like promised, items shipped don't get to you until several days after the promised delivery date. Rather than resolving the issue, they just keep apologizing. Their lack of internal communications between the departments in handling customer orders is absolutely mind boggling. read more

Poor customer service. I called Dec. 9th with a request to add hardware to our office printer that would allow wireless printing from MAC computers. After waiting twice the time they originally quoted, on 12/17 someone came out WITHOUT the necessary parts. I gave the green light for the part to be ordered. Today, Jan. 15th, 28 days since the technician came out, I have not received ANY communication about the part or progress. If we didn't have a service contract, I would choose a different provider. We were a medium size medical practice that used Milner for years for our IT needs. Service was always mediocre. When we sold the business, they became impossible to deal with, ripped us off for continued e-mail licenses we did not need, refused to help us with equipment we leased thru them, and basically dropped the ball on everything we needed them for. We paid every bill to them on time for years yet were treated with such disrespect and neglect when we really needed them. When I tried to complain it became impossible to even identify a supervisor and e-mails to that effect were ignored. Because they provide crucial IT services you are held hostage to their horrible customer service with no other alternatives. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS FOR ANYTHING EVER. I would give it a minus star, if possible. Just got what is more than likely a "sales" call from this "Milner, Inc." company from phone number 770-225-1808. Whomever was calling asked for the "manager". I indicated that I could help her. She just wanted to play games and ask that same question over and over again. I disconnected the call after indicating that if they wouldn't let me know how I could help them that I would have to disconnect the call. They called back. The call was unanswered. They called a third time. The same person on the other end when I answered. Still playing the same games. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL!! I asked to be removed from their call list repeatedly. I even indicated that I was the owner and asked, YET AGAIN, how I could help. The response to that was "No you aren't. You are nothing but an associate". I asked to be not called again. The UNPROFESSIONAL response was "just keep answering the phone". Here is your warning...steer clear of a company that operates in this manner and hires this type of person to represent them. read more

Having had a business relationship with Milner for over 12 years, I can't say enough about this company and the people who make it great! We started with Rainey and copiers, then moved to IT support with Brandon, Billy, and Eliott over 2 years ago. Now we are adding a new phone system from Milner with support for that as well.
