Do not waste your time or money. Classes are way overcrowded. In my young daughters class at age…read more4, there were 16 kids. Impossible to teach that many anything. She didn't even learn basic ballet positions over the whole year. This studio is clearly all about the money. The more money you gave, the more attention you got. Terrible communication. They don't have dance picture spots for all kids who attend class. Clearly not a place to learn ballet or tap. Even at the show the older kids ballet and tap was sub-par at best. I took dance for 18 years and this was the worse experience. I would have pulled my daughter sooner if parents had been allowed to watch the classes at all. the only good thing I will say, is at the performance the clearly should only specialize in hip hop and jazz which is obviously their interest and strength.

It seems to be pretty organized so far and the teachers are able to give students 1:1 attention. Classes are an hour and they are not big classes. The trial class times didn't work most of the times near our house, so we tried Crescent City while on vacation. Both of my kids went into the Pre-K class (3 & 5). My son confidentially marched in and was balling his eyes out in about 45 seconds lol. The coach was very comforting and tried to re-focus him several times. He would respond, but the tears wouldn't stop. The coaches continued to be alert to all of the children and they followed along to a routine where everyone waited in line and had a turn. I was impressed how engaging the staff was with the kids (especially because most of them are young). The gym seems organized and it was clean.

We took 3 lessons to prepare for our wedding first dance and, from the first lesson, they made us feel comfortable, confident, and most importantly - like ourselves. They tailored the choreography to our song and style, and created a routine that felt natural but still impressive (and fun!). Their warmth, patience, and encouragement turned what could have been a nerve-wracking part of wedding planning into something we genuinely looked forward to. By the time our big day arrived, we were excited to share our dance - and the moment was absolutely magical. We can't recommend Fleur De Dance enough. Whether you're experienced dancers or two left feet looking for rhythm, they'll meet you where you are and help you shine. Thank you both for giving us a moment we'll never forget!

I commented respectfully, defending science as my entire family are doctors, public health etc. I then realized I was immediately blocked. Blocked from the classes I paid for as well. When I addressed this with Clo, she immediately refunded me which I appreciated but was very rude and unapologetic. She never responded after I messaged her saying I was really hurt by the shaming and how it was handled. I actually really loved their dance style. I shared with my friends as well but to block and disrespect me for defending the hero's who are saving people during the pandemic is absolutely atrocious. Politics should never be brought to discussions when you're a public figure. If you do it publicly, expect people to voice their opinions. That's natural. I respect my friends and people who can engage in conversation; even if it's unpleasant or uncomfortable. I have lost respect for these two. And I will never ever support or advocate for them. Unfortunately, I am also in the scene but I will be sure not a penny from me touches their pockets. I will let my friends who dance know as well. So no, I would never recommend this dance company. As they posted support of the president saying injecting disinfectants was okay. How can they be unbiased and treat all dancers equally if even the love for dance isn't enough to give grace. I wish that I didn't have to leave this review but seeing how they blocked me without addressing the grievances of a paid customer, I have no choice. When suggested that they should maybe not post controversial things if they cared about their business, they pretty much responded, "they didn't care if someone wouldn't hire them, they'll find someone else". They have no idea how reputation works. I'm sure there's another studio where you'll be treated better.
