You teach the girls lessons they will have for a lifetime. You could see the love with the seniors that were leaving. Not all studios care about the person inside those dance shoes like you do. You should know that the teachers, staff and other children will become your family. You should look for a place that share your faith, values and morals. You should search for a place that will build your child's skills, knowledge of the art and self-confidence. If you are looking for a studio that incorporates all of these qualities, look no further because you have found your studio, home and family at Debby Dillehay Dance Studio. I just attended the dance recital on Tuesday and hadn't been to it in some years and was completely impressed with the skills, love and community there. You will not be disappointed.

I wouldn't recommend because I paid for classes during covid19. I also saw the instructor De'Jon…read moreposting conspiracy theories suggesting doctors were purposely killing patients for money by putting them on ventilators. Also, some other wild theories. I commented respectfully, defending science as my entire family are doctors, public health etc. I then realized I was immediately blocked. Blocked from the classes I paid for as well. When I addressed this with Clo, she immediately refunded me which I appreciated but was very rude and unapologetic. She never responded after I messaged her saying I was really hurt by the shaming and how it was handled. I actually really loved their dance style. I shared with my friends as well but to block and disrespect me for defending the hero's who are saving people during the pandemic is absolutely atrocious. Politics should never be brought to discussions when you're a public figure. If you do it publicly, expect people to voice their opinions. That's natural. I respect my friends and people who can engage in conversation; even if it's unpleasant or uncomfortable. I have lost respect for these two. And I will never ever support or advocate for them. Unfortunately, I am also in the scene but I will be sure not a penny from me touches their pockets. I will let my friends who dance know as well. So no, I would never recommend this dance company. As they posted support of the president saying injecting disinfectants was okay. How can they be unbiased and treat all dancers equally if even the love for dance isn't enough to give grace. I wish that I didn't have to leave this review but seeing how they blocked me without addressing the grievances of a paid customer, I have no choice. When suggested that they should maybe not post controversial things if they cared about their business, they pretty much responded, "they didn't care if someone wouldn't hire them, they'll find someone else". They have no idea how reputation works. I'm sure there's another studio where you'll be treated better.

I love seeing the little ones so excited to show mom or dad or a family member the new dance routine/move they learned. They're so eager to participate. And of course I must mention the OH SO CUTENESS of the dance outfit/uniform #cutenessoverload One hour on a Saturday, classes meet & the folks that run the studio work this thing like a well oiled machine. The gentlemen, I didn't get names, is ALWAYS smiling and gives gentle hugs to the little ones & points them in the direction of the studio. The dance instructors are also patient & kind. There's a viewing window for parents & occasionally, the parents, get to participate as well. How cool. Ample parking. The studio workers, once again, sorry I don't have names, are timely & this is essential because as one class ends, another begins.

Booking classes online is straightforward and convenient. I think there's a cancellation window for cancelling if you can't make it. During class, one student arrived after warm and was told she couldn't join since she was so late. So make sure you arrive early! I came to a Tuesday class, and my instructor, Ariel, was absolutely amazing. She's patient, encouraging, and truly works with everyone in the room. She walks around during class to make sure everyone is performing the moves correctly and gives helpful pointers and tips on how to execute the moves effectively. What I really appreciated most is that she meets you where you are and provides individual feedback tailored to your level, which made the class feel very supportive and beginner-friendly. The only thing I wish I had known ahead of time is that sometimes you have to share a pole, depending on how full the class is. If I'd known that in advance, I probably would've chosen a less crowded class. I'm not a huge fan of sharing a pole, but in the end, it worked out fine and didn't take away from the overall experience. Overall, it's a great studio with excellent instruction and a welcoming atmosphere. I'm glad I signed up and look forward to taking more classes here!
