The food is delicious. Service is wonderful. The atmosphere is great. It's a tradition of Millville. Beside Jim's Lunch.

I've only been here when visiting, but I've been amazed at how GOOD everything I've tried is!! I had breakfast twice and just now had a HUGE pot roast. I shouldn't be this amazed at how good everything is any more, but it was amazing! The service is top notch, the food is great with large portions, and it's clean and fast with a large menu. If you haven't been here yet, time to start! read more

I don't know why all these low ratings are listed. I've eaten at the Queen Diner in Millville, NJ for both breakfast & lunch and always had great food & service. The portion sizes are huge, and the prices are great for what you get for both meals. They give you a choice of soup or salad for the lunch portions & sometimes you also get ice cream for your meal. 5-Stars... Highly Highly recommend..!! read more

My favorite meal was the broiled seafood platter, but anything you get you will be very satisfied with. You'll get big portions for a great price and it is delicious to boot! I came here for years with many different people and i can't recall a single person ever being disappointed. It has the usual casual diner look and feel to it. It's a very comfortable place to be. read more

The food was great the portion were big had to take my left overs home. Had the special two for 30.

About as stereotypical of a New Jersey diner as you can get. Fast service, diner food. Massive plate of chicken fingers and fries (with a couple onion rings for good measure). Open-face Reuben sandwich (yes, ask for the coleslaw and pickle) - could have done better with more meat but overall tasty Chicken Cesar wrap - as expected Three eggs with home fries (mix between grated and chunks) and Canadian bacon (thick and great) read more

can't say anything bad about the food. It's great service. It's average can't ask for anything better but when you go to pay the stock up, black haired woman at the register acts like you owe her I handed her money. She slammed my change on the counter with my hand out to me that is ignorant I would not go back to this at least circumstances because of the way I was treated when I was trying to pay them treated me like I was a so go back. I urge you do not go to this place. It really sucks the way it's ran and the old man won't do a damn thing about it because it's his daughter-in-law, the long, black haired woman at the register with the bitch face that's who I'm talking about everyone knows who I mean if you've gone into that restaurant avoid her she's a real bitch face read more

If there is one thing that New Jersey is known for (aside from beaches, high taxes and soul crushing traffic) its diners. They're everywhere. Truly every town seems to have at least one and most have several. When you've got multiple people to feed who all can't agree on a particular food type they can be perfect. Chicken Pot Pie-Pancakes-Eggplant Parm-Lasagna First note is that if you order something off of the daily specials menu it comes with soup or salad, bread and dessert. Everything we ordered aside from the pancakes came from that day's menu. Pancakes are pancakes. Pretty hard to blow this one and if you do you might as well close. Enough said. The two Italian dishes were herculean in size. Neither person was able to finish it. Both were saucy-cheesy good. The chicken pot pie is surprisingly but not surprisingly made PA Dutch style. What's the difference? Regular pot pie has a baked crust on the top the same as a pie which is what most people would expect. Dutch style is usually shredded chicken bits/chunks put in a thick broth with some potatoes and veggies then covered or mixed with egg noodle squares like below: lancasteronline.com/features/food/discuss-pot-pie-in-lancaster-county-is-comfort-food-minus/article_c976261a-02bb-11e8-939a-e7a5a29de9d1.html Why do it that way? Two reasons from someone who actually makes it both ways. One, it uses up left over chicken bits that might get wasted which helps your food cost and two, is that it's faster/easier to make then the traditional way with the baked crust. Either way it was very good. On a sidebar, the potpie is served all you can eat on Sundays but one bowl is very filling and aside from some 80's slob sized WWE wrestler I'm not sure how many people are taking them up on the offer for seconds or thirds. Two things that were not so good. The first is the service. Not exactly the friendliest. I would say it was more efficient that bordered on pushy. An example would be the server bringing out the soup and then walking away to turn around a few seconds later to ask how it is. No one had even gotten a spoon anywhere near their lips. The other thing would be the soup. Excellent broth but you would have needed to hire a forensic anthropologist to find any clam in the Manhattan Clam Chowder. Overall I would say don't let the semi-rough sketchy looking area throw you off. Millville Queen is a classic NJ diner in everyway. An encyclopedia sized menu that is delivered efficiently (not necessarily friendly but definitely efficient) with good flavor at a price that is very reasonable. (3.5 rounded up to 4.0) read more

On a recent visit back home I was surprised to find that the Queen isn't the dive that it once was. It's been upgraded from divey diner to almost a restaurant. It DOES still have the proverbial diner counter for those that are a fan of that experience (I am!) And it does have the classic rotating dessert cabinet with pies and cakes that look a lot better than they taste (ha!) Some of them ARE really good though. The menu, like all respectable NJ diners IS enormous. HOORAY- they had scrapple and I WAS all in. OH MY HOLY GOD IT WAS DAMN DELICIOUS- so good SO SO GOOD. The rest of breakfast was good. My kiddo liked her breakfast too. But yeah, scrapple. That's all I really cared about. They had so many breakfast meats to choose from... if you can't find something you like on the menu, you're just too darn picky. But SCRAPPLE!!!! read more

Accommodated a birthday gathering of 16 people wonderfully. Not busy 6pm Tuesday. Big parking lot. The mini meals are actually quite large and affordable pricing. For example: a mini meal 2 porkchops, 2 sides a soup or a salad and choice of pudding, icecream, or jello for dessert for $14.99. All the mini meals that were chosen were more than enough food. Foods selections that have been had here that are consistently good: Omelets, fried or baked flounder, stuffed shrimp, liver and onions, chicken pot pie, burgers, open face sandwiches, pasta dishes, chicken croquettes, meatloaf, seafood platters, pastas, porkchops..... Overall main dishes are delicious. The owners are super friendly and so kind. As are the employees. Great service, food, parking and all are consistent. The revamp of the place a few years ago looks great. Clean Diner. The dessert cakes - many flavors available and all are so delicious too!! This place is worth the money spent out. And these days? That's epic. Great Diner. read more

One of our favorite Millville spots ! The breakfast is always cooked to perfection, great soup and dessert options. We have never had a bad meal here. Staff is always courteous and seem happy to assist you with any questions or issues. Nice laid back diner feel with a new parking lot with tons of space for parking. We usually eat here 3-6 times every year on our 3 week visit to Millville. Owner is always super friendly and asks about our trip and remembers us, though I'm sure not a lot of Alabama people wander in to his establishment. read more

Millville Queen Diner - Breakfast sandwich with pork roll, side of hash browns. Perfectly prepared - American Near Me - Millville, New Jersey

A friend and I made two trips to nearby Turkey Point Road/Glades Wildlife Refuge for a rare bird. The first time we were not satisfied with our encounter. The second time we were successful. Each time we finished up around 8pm and were very grateful there was a diner nearby to recharge our batteries, so to speak. Nothing extraordinary here. Good omelettes, club sandwiches, coffee. Home fries well done. A decent toasted english. i must comment on the following. I get it. Clean up time comes at the end of the business day. But in a diner without patrons, running a vacuum and using cleaning products directly adjacent to a customer eating is very uncool. At least I think so. You got a whole diner to clean up. Start over there.... way over there. Happy to visit a local spot wherever I travel. Millville Queen hit the spot twice before our very long drive back to North Jersey. See you next time we are in the area. read more

Good basic dinner! Wide selection at a great price. We asked our waitress for suggestion and we were not disappointed. Some of the dinners come with dessert. That was a nice surprise. Nothing more than local diner, ever popular as local hang out, a place to chat and to get some second rate belly filler existence food. Other than its popularity with locals as a place to get some grub to eat, there certainly isn't anything special about it. Every town seems to have diner place like this and like all the rest, the food is a notch above truck stop food but not by much. Being open 24 hours it's somewhat a haven for those who may have overindulged themselves and are trying to sober up after the bars have closed. Also if you're into seeing some violence be sure to get a good view of the parking lot during early morning weekend hours as you can often see a drunk or two going at it. read more

Stopped by for a take out breakfast order. Absolutely loved sitting at the counter to place my order, while drinking an unsweetened iced tea and watching all the commotion around me! I've been to the Queen Diner twice. Food has been quite good, the usual healthy portions most diners serve. Prices are reasonable. Ambience and service leaves something to be desired. One time the vacuum was pulled out all around the tables as we entered and we had to watch our step. Leave that til after hours...use something smaller if there is a mess that needs to be cleaned up during business hours! The waitresses we had each time were lacking in friendliness and didn't really check up to see if things were OK or ask if we needed anything else. If service was better and employees were more personable, I'd have given 4 stars. read more

Stopped in during lunch hour on a Tuesday with a co-worker. Hadn't been here before and there aren't many culinary options that you would want to visit in Millville. The outside of the diner looked updated and there was plenty of parking in their private lot. I ordered club sandwich #1 which consisted of roast beef, turkey, cheese, lettuce, and tomato. I had it on rye bread. It came with a choice of soup, so I had the chicken noodle soup. Very small cup of soup but tasty. Definitely fresh and not canned. My club came with French fries. My club had plenty of meat on it and it was very satisfying. The bread was fresh. I enjoyed the French fries. The serving of fries wasn't large so I didn't feel guilty about eating all of them. The fries were cooked perfectly and not well done or burnt. The service was very good and friendly. The prices were very fair being that it included soup. The bathrooms were clean. They had a very impressive selection of breakfast items which will be on my agenda next time I'm in town. Pancakes! read more

It's a blue-collar diner where the Mayor will be rubbing elbows with a vagrant while they both devour the Chicken Pot Pie special. The waitress might even call you "Hon" when she takes your order. It's typical diner fare: a vast menu featuring everything from Waffles to cheesesteaks to veal parmigiana to chicken cordon bleu. Breakfast served all day, open 24 hours. Even Christmas, I think. Depending on the time of day you're liable to bump into truckers getting fueled with a cup o' Joe and scrambled eggs at breakfast, the mid-morning know-it-all guys having the 2-egg special, the midday working stiffs at lunch, the Early-bird-special retirees at 3:30, the families for the dinner specials in the evening or the hipsters nursing a cup of coffee at 3 in the morning after a night on the town. It's stick-to-the-ribs diner food that won't win any culinary awards. But you won't go broke eating here. And everybody in town eats there. It's the great equalizer. There's even a mini jukebox in every booth so you can listen to The Hits of the 80's as you nibble on cheese fries. And don't forget to stop by the carousel of desserts! It can be a little scary at in the parking lot late at night, but it's well lit and to date, never been the scene of any crime. read more

Late night dinner at this diner. Nancy was our waitress and she was patient as I navigated the menu scouring for anything similar to a smoothie, organic spinach, fresh anything...but came up with some eggs, French toast and chicken cheese steak sandwich for my friend. It was all "okay" but the atmosphere was cute and we were happy that the place was open after the flight in. I didn't take any photos. You've seen an egg and you've probably seen an unnecessarily big chicken steak sandwich before. read more

I've lived here 17 years and today was the first day I ever dined here. Why? Well, I used to have a policy that I never frequent an establishment willingly where murders have taken place. Many years ago there was a murder here. I figure there's enough places to dine other than the deadly places. But the family pitched the idea and I figured, "Why not?" We came here after mass today. Parking is tight. Since we had two vehicles and I got the absolute last spot by the railroad tracks, my wife parked across the street. The diner was hopping this Sunday morning. Even so, we were seated almost immediately. A busboy got our drink orders. We waited a bit before the waitress took our order. We all had regular menu items. The food seemed to take slightly longer than it should have. There are televisions on the walls so I was able to catch a little bit of the news. Breakfast meals were fine. My eggs were properly cooked. The bacon was just how I like it. While I don't eat hash browns much, I took a taste just to try them. They had no seasoning that I could discern. Yuck. Potatoes need seasoning. Beverages were refilled. Service was fine. The meal is exactly what one would expect breakfast at a diner to be. The desserts in the case were heavenly to gawk at. I had none, but they were homemade. read more

Our family has been going there for years! We have watched them build up their place, which looks so much better now. Their servers are very nice, as well as the hostesses and the owners. We have never had any problems with any of their foods, nor have we ever left there feeling hungry. The wraps, salads, chicken cheesesteak, cheesesteaks, etc., are fantastic! Not only have my children been there multiple times, but grandchildren as well. Their desserts are the bomb!! We were looking for a diner in Millville and laughed hysterically at a previous yelper's comment of "senior citizens, vagrants, families, and the mayor of Millville." How could you say no to a place like that? After our food arrived, the Queen was on its way to a three-star review that I probably never would have posted, and then things took at turn for the worse. We found ants streaming from the wall onto our table. Not just "an ant" but a small army of ants, probably about 50-100. We told our waitress who immediately disappeared. She brought the manager/owner who managed to mumble, mostly to himself, "Where are the ants?" We began moving to the empty table in the middle. The waitress and owner both individually went back and saw the army later. I heard them saying they'd just spray the wall with ant spray. Um, that's a poison right?!? When our check came, I wondered if they'd give us a discount, a free meal, a free dessert, an apology, ANYTHING AT ALL. But instead, there was no mention of it. The owner took my bill at the counter and didn't say a single word, except "$45.26." I paid. I've never walked out on a bill but was darn sure tempted to. I won't be going back. read more

Ate there today for an early dinner. My girlfriend started with chicken soup and as she stirred it up came a big long hair in it.The waitress showed the hostess and she came and said that everyone wears hairnets in the back.O.k as I was eating my minestrone I bit into something that pierced my tongue. As I pulled it out of my mouth ,it looked like a piece of metal shaving all curled up about 2 inches long.I showed the waitress and as she went to show the hostess we all just got up and left in fear of what might show up in out entrees.Someone obviously is not watching over the cleanliness in this place.I will never go to this place again. read more

This is a typical dinner with an array of desserts; however, for me it has become a Sunday breakfast eatery. The owners are extremely helpful and pleasant and the food is very good. The service is quick and professional. The Millville Queen Diner is definitely worth a trip downtown Millville. A great deal of the younger crowd meets after a night out for late night food. But the menu is complete with many specials and most choices are typical of diner food. Check 'em out. I'm truly a fan. read more

Ok, so the Queen is your classic late nite nj diner except for one thing... The cream of crab soup is incredible!! If they only served that they'd get 5 *'s... Ive never asked if the crab in it was real and honestly Im ok with not knowing. I usually can tell very easily the difference between real and imitation. All I know is that it taste gooood. Its creamy and has a nice amount of crab meat throughout the soup (see photo). You can def taste the butter, cream, and allll the goodness in it. It can vary in thickness from week to week but its taste makes up for it. Oh and they only have it on FRIDAYS (even late into sat morn) I highly recommend it and look forward to hearing other opinions on it. Everyone I refer always loves it. The other foods are good (breakfast, cakes/pies, n greasy late nite fried stuff) but nothing special, thats the reason for only 3 *'s... But go get the soup!! You wont be dissapointed. A large quart is only $4.95! read more
