Just more empty words like "we care" but no action to date. She said that the manager, Dan, would contact, but...he probably remembers how upset I was when his coworker, Matt, made fun of me for being ignorant about the part they replaced. All in all, it's really best to avoid this company. They took advantage of me, plain and simple. Original Review: Zero stars if possible. Despite my private emails to corporate, which I sent in order to give them a chance to address their errors, I encountered the same lack of respect for my time and property. This company refused to honor the warranty on their previous work, and my car is still experiencing issues that should have been fixed when I paid for the service the first time! The last straw was my seat not being reset to its original position upon return of my vehicle. Such an oversight, especially when corporate told me that it was "unacceptable" when it happened once before...It may seem like a petty issue, but the principle of the matter is an overt lack of respect. If you've got money to burn, go here. They'll definitely burn you!

I have a 2024 Jeep Wrangler. Only 1,700 miles. Driving home from work in Perry The Jeep had a…read morewarning light come on and the vehicle went into protection mode. I was not able to use the gas pedal at all. I was able to coast the Jeep over to the side of the road. After reading the manual it said do not drive, tow the vehicle to the nearest authorize dealer. Pratt in Calais was the nearest dealer. After towing the Jeep over to Pratts on a Monday evening. The service department was able to get me an earliest appointment of Friday of that week. Being this is my only vehicle to get to work and back it was crucial to get this fixed ASAP. I called and verified my appointment on Thursday night. Service department said I would be one of the first vehicles in the next morning. Around noon on Friday, I started calling the dealership to get an update, Around 3:30 I finally got ahold of someone in the service department. Dan, " said he only helps out the service department" Said he had to cancel my appointment! I asked him why? and he said because I didn't buy the Jeep from their dealership. I ask him if I could have another appointment? One that wouldn't be canceled. Dan said "they can never work on your vehicle because the owner of dealership has a program that only benefits people that buy his cars from his dealership". I told him I had an appointment and waited 4 days though? he said it was canceled because a premiere customer (Someone that bought a car from Pratt), wanted a last minute oil change. Needles to say I was beyond upset!! I got a ride to the dealership the next morning to figure out how I was going to get this brand new Jeep fixed. Ian Pratt (the owner) just happened to be in the lobby. I had a conversation with him explaining our situation, and how Jeep would only authorize to tow my vehicle to his dealership. Pratt didn't care at all! Pratt didn't care that his dealership wasted 4 days telling me they were going to service my vehicle only to cancel my appointment. All he could say was "I should of bought my vehicle from him, then I wouldn't be in this situation." Pratt was proud of the fact that his service department canceled my appointment to service a last minute oil change for one of his premium customers. Pratt told me he's contently yelling at his employees not to take any vehicles into the service department that were not bought from his dealership. This is what hes proud of? Yelling at his service department? Turning down customers in need? This doesn't sound like an authorized dealership to me? Thos sounds like a selfish owner trying to screw over customers to gain other customers? Pratt is practicing horrible business policies with a total disregard for common sense. I know the majority of customers going into Pratts service department do not know this policy is happening. Mainers are hard working fair respectful people. I would bet some of them might be mad if they knew when they are scheduling service appointments they might be canceling someone else's critical appointment and not even know it. Imagine if every dealership in the country had this same policy! Everyone would be afraid to drive anywhere outside of there dealerships Towing range. (You could only get your car fixed from the dealership you bought it from?) That would mess up the whole system. I'm not sure if this policy Pratt is using is legal or not? but I don't think Jeep, Chevrolet, or GMC would approve of it. Back to my jeep, I was able to drive it "somewhat". I figured out after fully shutting the Jeep off, waiting a second, then starting it up again, it would reset the warning sensor and I had full use of the throttle for about 10 to 15 minutes of driving. Then the warning and loss of throttle control would happen again. Everytime this happened I would have to pull over, " someplaces on the freeway were under construction with only one lane and no sholder to pull off or over into. This was a dangerous situation. This turned a 4 hour drive into an 6.5 hour dangerous drive pulling over and stopping on the freeway over 20 times! we were able to make it to the dealership in Saco Maine. They made me an appointment and thankfully didn't cancel on me! It took them less then an hour to find and fix the problem. It was a loose vacuum hose in the engine compartment. Simple fix for an authorized service department. I don't feel Pratt should be allowed to call his dealership an authorized service department. If there allowed to turn down vehicles. Ian Pratt was arrogant, unprofessional and he seemed to lack common sense. I would avoid this dealership at any cost!
