He did an estimate on the same day in the afternoon. Jackson is the owner of Strictland. We made a deal to perform cutting trees and also clean both sides of the house and backyard as there are lots of dried leaves and bushes. The worked was done on Thurs and Friday of the same week. He had two helpers who did a wonderful job as well. He completed the job and delivered with what we agreed on. I am very pleased of the outcome. I highly recommend Jackson to do any tree services and cleaning of your dried leaves in your compound and backyard. The price is also reasonable. Let's also support our serviceman as Jackson is an ex military guy who served our country. He is very nice and easy to work with. See pictures of his work.

Strickland tree service came out and assessed our property for anything that could pose a future threat to our home and to remove what had already fallen. Not only did he give us a great quote but they worked diligently until the job was done and even came back a second round to remove lumber that was just too much for me to handle myself. Fast forward to 2024 and we just had our first major storm in Twain Harte, we were left unscathed even though There was a fall on the property. It was our neighbors tree and was actually one that Jackson cited as an issue but that it wouldn't reach our home. He was spot on with his call, that exact tree snapped and fell short of our house just how he said it would. Thank you guys for setting us up for the winter and keeping our house safe. Couldn't be more grateful for the expertise.

After the recent storms...seeing thousands of trees down and so many people without power for…read moreweeks...it really made us take a serious look at the trees around our cabin. We knew we wanted to remove any truly risky trees, but we also didn't want to make decisions based on fear or our own inexperience. So we scheduled a tree risk assessment consultation with Nathan Berner, owner of Calaveras Tree Care...and I honestly can't say enough good things about the experience. He was incredibly thorough, patient with all of our questions, and took the time to explain exactly what he looks for when assessing tree health and risk. Instead of telling us what to cut down, he helped us understand how to weigh risk, tree health, location, and long-term safety when trying to determine if any action should be taken. The biggest thing we walked away with was peace of mind...along with confidence that we can make thoughtful, informed decisions moving forward. If you have mountain property or have been feeling anxious after the storms, I highly recommend contacting Nathan to have a professional assessment done. It was worth every penny!

Nate is deeply qualified, incredibly knowledgeable with his expertise of the trees in the area, and…read moreis totally professional in the services he offers. I've now worked with Nate twice regarding the numerous hundred year old trees on my property. Most recently he helped me determine a plan to save two of my largest trees from pest damage (not bark beetle thank goodness) and even called the tree service company who would be doing the tree topping work to explain my situation and get them to expedite the timing so as to save my trees. This is above and beyond service in my opinion. Nate does extremely thorough and thoughtful examinations, and does a great job explaining the situation and options in a way a non-arborist can understand. Beyond that, it is clear that he really cares deeply about getting and keeping trees healthy. It was a pleasure to work with him and I highly recommend him to others.
