Had this not happened I would have used them to replace my roof next summer, but now I'll be looking for someone else.

We had to search out to find someone that we felt comfortable with and did outstanding work Our son had finished off a mudroom at his house in Duxbury and the team from Cranland Carpentry, Inc did the work. The quality workmanship was outstanding, and they built a custom seat with shelves underneath. I wasn't sure if they would finish off a basement in Plymouth, but I asked them if they would be interested, and if so provide a quote. The quote was very competitive with the three other companies that I asked to quote. I hired Cranland Carpentry Inc. to handle the finish carpentry for my basement remodel. They helped with all the design work and did all the building permits. They made my life a lot easier, and the results are honestly transformative. Bringing a vision for a basement to life requires a specific eye for detail, and the craftsmanship delivered here was top-tier. The trim work, doors, closet and molding are outstanding. We had a few awkward structural columns and they designed custom casings and built-in shelves in another area. * Professionalism: Beyond the woodworking skills, the job site was kept remarkably clean. For a project of this scale, I appreciated the clear communication regarding timelines and material choices. Cranland Carpentry team were always the same guys, very professional, courteous and a pleasant to have in our home. This is something very hard to measure, but I think it's very important to most people. You want people in your home that you can trust. There were several areas of concern as the mortar was so aged that water was getting into the basement. David came and removed all of the loose powdery mortar and filled in with new strong mortar. He also applied the interior walls with a waterproof seal. The cellar looks nice and bright, light and clean. He was meticulous in his work and the results prove it. The cellar no longer has water coming in after a storm and the walls are smooth and strong. The external mortar work on the foundation is also clean and smooth. It was painstaking work and done very professionally all for a good and fair price. I highly recommend David C McDonald Co for all work around the home. He has also done light carpentry for me as well as landscaping (yard cleanup/spring/fall) every job he's done on my property has been thorough and I've been very happy with the results.

Due to the type of roofing that we wanted installed, Anthony informed us that we would need to wait until the temperature was above 50 degrees in order for the roofing glue to stick (or something like that). When the weather warmed up, I tried repeatedly to call and email Anthony with no response. We were not even playing phone tag....he just didn't respond. I am a professional and I expect the people to be working with me to also be professional. If Anthony no longer wanted to do our project, that would have been fine. We have had Chuck's…read morecompany install irrigation on a 1 acre lot and at the same time create a landscape for the front yard which included a huge field stone rock wall; a year later, they returned to install a rather large brick patio which incorporated large slabs of granite, laid granite curbing, and created beds where they planted three trees around the newly laid patio. First and foremost, Chuck and his crew are always polite, respectful and patient with their clients needs and desires. They listen and offer great advice when it's needed. Chuck came to us with an amazing design for our front yard, but when we realized we didn't have quite enough money to do the entire job, he reworked the whole plan to accommodate our wishes and our budget. Second, they keep the work site neat, orderly, and clean as expected--even with all the dirt, gravel, brick dust, they did their best to keep it away and off the house. Big plus, they don't leave a single piece of trash behind. Anyone who has built a house knows builders tend to leave bits of trash everywhere. Not Nessralla's! Third, their work is impeccable! They laid thousands (!) of Boston City Hall pavers on our patio. At one point, I saw them pick up and reposition a huge section because the "line wasn't quite right." They even came back and popped some of the granite sections to realign them because Chuck didn't want anyone to stub a toe! The landscaping material they brought us was above expectations. Our trees and shrubs are over a year old and they are in excellent health. Even several weeks after Chuck finished the 1st job last August, we caught him "checking" on the plants and grass periodically. Next year we plant to expand our landscape and the only crew we will have in our yard is Nessralla. Chuck and his crew ALWAYS go above and beyond.

I had several other companies come out to the house to offer a price quote and get some ideas but decided to go with Nessralla's. Chuck Nessralla, the owner, pointed out several ways I could cut back on the original company's price quote while still accomplishing what I wanted to have done. In the end, the price he gave me was significantly cheaper and even included a walkway and patio that was not in the other company's quote. I was a little nervous that the decrease in price would mean a decrease in quality, but nothing could be worse than what I had already gone through. To say my apprehension was unwarranted would be a huge understatement. Nessralla's installed a new lawn, an irrigation system, a patio, a walkway, and a beautiful planting all in under two weeks. The attention to detail was amazing, I am happy to say that I now have the best looking yard on the street. What really impressed me about this company was the fact that Chuck was there every step of the way. He personally graded the property, set up the foundation for the patio and walkway, designed the planting, and could be found on the job every day his workers were there. I paid to have my parent's house landscaped several years ago and cannot remember seeing the owner on site ounce after our initial meeting.
