T&K does good work but at 5:30 in the morning? I called the day before as I was originally told…read morethey would be here sometime after 7 am which is early enough. I live in a development with homes fairly close. After calling their office I was assured by Phil that they would not arrive until after 7 am. Sure enough though Kyle arrived before 5:30 am and the very loud blower to clear off the driveway was going. I also had texted him the day before to shift the start time to after 7 am, but no change. Next time I'll find another company that doesn't give me false scheduling info and starts during normal business hours. We apologized to our neighbors for the early noise.

On Friday , a TK employee (Rick) called me and confirmed my driveway was rescheduled in the afternoon of 26th July and gave me the standard prerequisite  instruction to have the driveway clear in preparation for sealant technicians arrival on 7/26/2021. As I had to make prior arrangements to leave work because I would pay in person and meet TK technicians as preplanned from scheduling phone calls on Friday. As time went on in day, TK had not arrived yet,I called at 2:00 pm and once again, I was told, Asphalt technicians were enroute just finishing up a job in Mashpee and TK Residential dispatch rep, took down my cell phone number, told me he would call me back after he confirms with technicians on my scheduled appointment (of course he never called me back) .  My booking was under my wife's name Sue Linton and all was well and still scheduled. I told TK Residential service rep via phone conversation that I will leave a check in the mailbox and I must return to work. Later on in the late afternoon, I knew my wife would be home and I asked her, did TK Asphalt  show up and do the routine sealcoat of the driveway and she informed me no had come or called for that matter., Above stated just  purely demonstrates unprofessionalism beyond measure and quite cavalier to put it mildly.  I was more than understanding of your rescheduling and excuses, realizing things do arise and being flexible , however, your company just completely did not acknowledge my reappointments and never showed, this is noted and please do not contact me, your company is not even middling at best and disorganized. TK Asphalt gives American worker's a bad reputation which validates outsourcing to foriegn entities due to examples as stated above.

I can't say enough good things about this company. Our pool…read moreand patio area was completely done over this summer with the landscaping and masonry work done by the hard-working and talented Needle Brothers crew. One of the owner/brothers, Bryan Needle, was our main contact. He is a great guy with a lot of design talent. He helped us pull together our half-formed vision into a cohesive and beautiful whole. He was also integral when it came to planning for new flowers and greenery areas. His ideas took us from nice to absolutely gorgeous. They also rebuilt the steps and walkway to the entryway to our house as well as the walkway and steps to a side door. All of it, beautifully done and in keeping with what we did in the pool/patio area. Patrick Wilhelm was our day-to-day contact...I don't know his exact title but I have referred to him as our project manager. He came by regularly to check on the work crew (who were amazing) and was extremely available to us any time we texted or called. Like Bryan, Patrick is talented, patient and with great ideas and suggestions. Patrick was integral in helping us visual the final result. When you are looking at just a big bunch of dirt surrounding a half-finished pool, it can be hard to imagine just what it will all eventually look like. Patrick was a godsend with all that. We had Needle Brothers remove everything except the inground pool. Virtually everything in this area was razed and we started from scratch with landscaping, masonry, lighting and fencing. They also rebuilt the steps and the entryway walk to our house as well as the walkway and steps to a side door. These areas were beautifully done and in coordination with the look in the pool/patio area. In conjunction with the pool company (the inground pool had to be rebuilt) by a separate company) Needle Brothers fashioned a resort-like area for us to enjoy for years to come. I still can't believe how great it all looks every time I'm out there. Going forward, we plan to use Needle Brothers for our ongoing yard/garden maintenance. The crew we had was unbelievably hardworking...these men worked diligently often 6 days a week. If something wasn't quite right, it was redone. Don't hesitate to call Bryan to come over to take a look at what you'd like done. He will offer ideas and suggestions that complement your vision. He will give you an estimate that in my opinion will be fair. If I could give Needle Brothers and the entire crew more stars than 5, I would.

Patrick, the salesman/estimator was very good to deal with, communicative, and very careful, to make sure that details and expectations were understood, and even then the job came out looking better than I expected. Once they started the job the two hardest working guys I have ever seen in my life excavated it, installed the retaining wall, then installed the PVC fence, in just three days. They were amazing.

Not once did I speak to their team in a disrespectful manner. Was I firm and direct? Absolutely. Not once was I inappropriate, unlike their owner. If any prospective clients see this and would like to ask me about my experience directly, I'm happy to have a conversation. I have no further interest in communicating with a company that continues to not truthfully own up to their faults in this. I am deeply disappointed and disturbed by my experience with Driveways by HEAP and their owner, Robert. From the start, communication with this company was extremely poor. It took months for them to respond to our request for a quote for options for our driveway and a small asphalt patch in our backyard. When they recommended sealcoating and they finally scheduled the work, they only completed part of the job -- forgetting the backyard patch we had clearly discussed and agreed upon. When we reached out to address the incomplete work, we were initially told they'd return within days. Weeks passed with vague updates, broken promises of return dates, and no follow-through. We asked them not to cash our check until the job was done -- but they did anyway, before completing the work. As soon as we realized the check had been cashed, and after my husband had multiple failed attempts to get ahold of Jamie, I stepped in to follow up - which was apparently unacceptable to do on a Sunday morning. She blocked my number and bizarrely informed my husband via email that she would only be communicating with him going forward -- an unprofessional and move that made me question if we were still in the 1950s. Things escalated with misogynistic language when I called the company directly and and asked to speak to Robert, the owner. I have never been spoken to by a service provider the way he spoke to me. He was verbally abusive, condescending, and used language that bordered on threatening. He insulted me personally and dismissed my entirely reasonable request to complete a job that had been paid for -- going so far as to accuse me of being part of the "instant gratification generation" and "making a mountain out of a molehill" as if expecting a service to be completed within a month is unreasonable. This business not only failed to complete the work in a timely or professional manner, but their treatment of me as a customer -- especially as a woman -- was hostile and deeply inappropriate. No one should be spoken to or treated this way.
