Sorry I have to disagree with the number of people who have put such positive reviews. Working with…read moreWeather Tite has been a large frustration from the day I signed the contract (which I had to ask for a Weather Tite signed copy 3 times.). They don't even invoice per the terms on the contract/proposal. The shingles were not the color I wanted and as explained to me on the phone as the project manager never gave me a color chart until after the roof was installed. Roofers pulled my fence out of the ground and did not replace it correctly and tried to disguise it with rocks along the bottom. Took 4 days for someone to correct the problem and then the person that came to fix it didn't even bring tools, they had to use mine. Nails, roofing materials and plastic bags from the shingles were not cleaned up. Ridge vent on roof now has hump and what looks like a space between the edge of the vent and the shingles that wasn't there on the old roof or when the new roof was installed in October but is there 3 months later. Should not have to argue with a Weather Tite employee when I am trying to understand why there is this space along the edge and I feel I cannot get a proper explanation. Project Manager is not available until March. Was never notified siding came in, in fact I found out siding was in and called Weather Tite to ask when it could be installed. Siding was delivered and 3 weeks later a crew showed up at 2 pm, looked around and said it was windy so they didn't want to work. Siding supervisor from Weather Tite told me to not ask questions if I wanted the siding installed. Siding crew broke outdoor outlet covers and deck railings. Window glazing strips were put in 3 times, they blew off in the wind and they still on not correct. Corners were not beveled as they should be. Holes in corner pieces of siding were plugged with I don't know what, looked like gum. Trim along top wall was not replaced correctly and facia was shoved up into the edge of the attic space. Siding pieces were cracked on the North end of the house and not replaced until service came out. Siding pieces have fallen off back of garage twice. I may be female but I do know a bit about roofing and siding since I spent years working with Habitat for Humanity. The bright spot in all of this was the service guy Brandon, who was helpful and when questions were asked provided a viable and understandable explanation. Bottom line here, I don't feel as though I could ever recommend Weather Tite as a contractor for roofing, siding, windows etc.

Action Mechanical was quick to come check out and check our furnace that wasn't working during a…read morecold spell. They troubleshot that motor blower was bad, after new one installed furnace still wouldn't work, our heat pump needed replaced, they said we could use the electric coils on emergency mode to run furnace until heat pump was ordered. We had to insist they check out heat coils before they left to make sure we had heat. they checked we didn't. they left without us having any heat. We called another business who found a couple of limit switches were bad and they replaced them so we could have heat without using emergency mode until new heat pump arrived. So yes that new blower motor did keep us from freezing after another company had to replace 2 limit switches but now we have $450 blower motor that doesn't work with new heat pump system. dissatisfied with lack of experience in troubleshooting. After talking this over with them they gave us a small discount but didn't accept they had done anything wrong cause the blower motor was bad. We won't be calling Action Mechanical again.

I cannot say enough positive things about Tony and Diamond Roofing! After a two month (plus) fiasco…read morewith a roofer who had been highly recommended, but who had a serial habit of not showing up, returning calls/texts/emails, and pushing the start date back weekly, we were extremely frustrated to say the least. We had already had one snow storm and more loomed on the horizon. The owner of the company painting our home and doing other exterior restoration (Kasie with North Fork Restoration and Paint) recommended Diamond Roofing. Whether kismet or fortuitous coincidence, Tony and his crew happened to be working on our neighbor's roof right then! We rushed across the street to explain our situation and beg for help. Tony met the other (absentee) roofer's estimate and had the work done the next week. Our roof looks awesome! Tony was our Johnny-on-the-spot! Tony and his crew at Diamond Roofing were fast, professional, efficient, and cleaned up the area around the house so that you did not even know roofers had been there. I HIGHLY recommend Diamond Roofing!
