WHY can't I rate these clowns any lower?? Look, they have taken the phrase, "ignorance is bliss"…read moreand turned it into, "incompetence is bliss" which ironically, should be on their letterhead. You want to talk about rude and incompetent people... Here they are!! Just competed their FOURTH trip out to complete a very SIMPLE work order, and they STILL didn't finish the job properly. The kid stood on my doorstep arguably with me and actually called me a liar, because he didn't want to do what the INSPECTOR said needed done. The office staff we have followed up with seem to be equally incompetent and rude. If you want a better electrical job done, I recommend hiring a fifth grader and letting them watch a YouTube video. You'll get better results.

Surprised they did not require BLOOD type. Somewhat frustrated by the waste of my time, I called directly and got a connection to a gal that sounded like she was on a 1941 sat phone informing me they did not service the area I was needing service in. Need to be REMOVED FROM YELP as servicing the Gig Harbor area so as not to waste the CONSUMERS/ Customers time.

In late December 2026, my garage door opener was not working. At 1pm I called Reliable Electric and…read morethey had an electrician at my front door by 3pm. The electrician quickly identified the problem and fixed another one, too. Next day, the garage door opener failed again. Amazinly, Reliable Electric came within 2 hours. They found the root cause of the problem and fixed it. Later in the day I broke what they fixed. Next morning was Christmas Eve. I called Reliable Electric thinking there was no way they could show up again, especially on Christmas Eve. Within 2 hours their electrician was at my door and came up with an even better solution to my problem For response, skill and honesty I give Reliable Electric 10 out of 10. Thank you very much!!!!

They called me at 3 and said they had someone available and they could be there in 20 to 30 minutes. I had a super friendly guy named Jeremy show up at 3:15. He walked around and made sure every plug that wasn't working was working, and he went over the breakers with me to let me know what powered what. I would absolutely recommend Reliable Electric!

The also did a 12 point inspection on our electrical system and found a smoke detector we had missed replacing - so grateful for that! This is exactly the great service we expected after the great job on the new breaker box project and other wiring we had done previously. We love this company and are already planning to have them back for further work. 10/10 recommend this company.

Shocking Difference spent an initial visit with us for three hours... which alone was impressive in…read moreits scope and detail. We were given a detailed estimate with options from which we could select the work to be done . We did hire them to complete the following work : replace and upgrade our 40-year-old electrical panel, add several outlets to the outside of our home, correct the GCFI outlets inside our home. While doing the work in our attic, they found mold high up on our roofline and snapped a photo for us-saving us from that mess on many levels. A crew of four qualified hard-working electricians were at our home for two full days. Following the work, the cleanup was impeccable. They left it better than they found it.. A bonus was that they made all the arrangements with Puget power, including a follow up inspection. We are CONFIDENT our home is electrically safe and sound. They were very detailed in their estimate, which was fairly priced. Did I mention how polite and patient they were with our many questions? We would hire them 100 times over for any future electrical work, but I think we're good now! The owners have high expectations of their employees and the work they do, and their work is guaranteed.

First issue we have: they installed the wrong kind of breaker, which was caught when the inspector from L&I looked at it. So they came back and replaced it, and we assumed all was well. We didn't test the outlet (we assumed it worked) or even need it until this year with the heavy rains, when we noticed our crawl space sump pump wasn't working. I went under the house and figured out it's the outlet not working. (L&I inspector didn't bother to test it either when they inspected the breaker.) I called David, and he says it's out of warranty (one year, never stated anywhere, but he's claims that's the industry standard). So we get another electrician to look at it, and it turns out THE CIRCUIT DOESN'T EVEN CONNECT TO THE OUTLET. From new electricians' invoice: "Circuit was tied into wrong 10/2 wire. 10/2 wire from panel did not go to Junction box." New electricians had to place a whole new wire between box and panel, because there wasn't one! David claims the outlet/circuit must have been tested when installed, but it appears that was simply untrue. Oh, and they overcharged us too. They charged for 3 hours of work, even though they were here for 1.5. David agreed to lower the charge to 2 hours, but he argued that it was industry standard to charge for the time it takes to get to the job. I'm sorry, but it doesn't take 1.5 hours to get from Tenino to Olympia, even if it makes any sense to charge for that time. David even complained that he "took a hit" by reducing the charge. I'd say we took a hit by trusting these guys. Oh, and the electricians we hired to fix their mess only charged for the time they were here, not the "industry standard" David described.
