Outstanding experience with Miller Well Drilling again today. Problems with cell phone coverage required that we resort to texting, and we were able to get technicians out on a Saturday, despite snow covered roads. The two technicians arrived within the time frame promised and quickly assessed and fixed the problem. We gladly paid the weekend rate to get our water restored, but Miller warned us in advance of the rate and gave us the option of delaying until Monday. so, no surprises. All in all very responsive and got our water running quickly. I highly recommend this company - excellent service and very reliable. read more

This group is great at billing and overcharging you but horrible customer service, not reliable and basically poor business owners. I was charged 4 times outrageously expensive trip fees and my water filter wasn't even repaired or running. I asked for an owner to call me to discuss the unfair charges and it took 2 months to get a phone call. Then she still didn't offer to make the situation right. I was a long time customer who always paid and was very patient with their excuses. No more Call Murphy or Blue Ridge for help, do not use these rip off artists read more

Our water pump went out on Sunday morning and we called Miller for assistance. Their Service man, Matt came to our rescue within an hour or so. He worked in the rain and had to rewire and replace the control panel most likely blown by the storm the night before. Matt was terrific! So knowledgeable. MWD installed our well and filter system 24 years ago and has serviced it at least annually over the years. They are always responsive and professional. A couple of weeks ago I called to schedule a service and was booked for a few weeks out. I called this morning to ask if we could get an earlier appointment and they sent Matt Seabolt right over. Came out promptly to fix a neighbor's well head pipe that cracked from the cold. Fast and thorough.

If you want to put a water filtration system on your well water don't use millers . They drilled our well and we had dingy water so they put a cartridge filter on which did not work. We called and told them we wanted a filter system put on to correct the problem , the correct system so we wouldn't have to deal with it again. They came out and tested the water and told use what system we needed to correct the problem, they assured us it would more than do the job. We spent $2003.79 on the filter system put in in June of 2020. Had to call them back out a couple weeks later because it was leaking and told them we still had dingy water. They fixed the leak and told us they would send someone out to check the water. They tried to charge us for the leak even though the tech said they had not tightened something on the filter when they put it in. When end they came and tested the water it was the same through the filter as straight from the well. Had iron they said we needed a different medium in the filter and they would change it out. They called wanting us to pay over $500. 00 more dollars. When we told them we shouldn't have to pay at the time from install tell we had them recheck wasn't even 90 days and they promised their system would work. They refused to correct the problem unless we paid for the medium. We finally agreed to this material not labor and paid them $154.66. We still had dingy water same as before. Finally I ask for a reference from one of the cabin rental company's for a company that puts in systems that actually work. they gave me the name of the company that does a lot of their cabins. I called they came out and tested same as before water from Millers system tested as same as water straight from the well. They said we had the wrong system in for the type minerals in our water. We we had them take Millers system out and put a new system in. I am happy to say it actually works. We have had it in for almost a month and no more dingy water. They guarantee their system for 1year unconditionally. 100% money back if not satisfied. When I called Miller to tell them we had replaced their system that didn't work and ask if they stood behind their work and product I got a whole lot of argument and excuses. We are very dissatisfied with their services and would not recommend them to anyone. We have stained sinks,tubs,commodes, and showers in our new house thanks to the water purification system they installed and that didn't work. read more

This is by far the most professional company I came across while searching for a well driller.They are leaps and bounds better than any other well drilling company i called.and the ONLY one I would use again in the future or recommend to anyone. For starters  they actually have people on their staff to answer phone calls which NONE of the other outfits even had  especially DO NOT  use Timmy Huskins in cartersville 678-448-2503  this man wasted 4 months of our time!!  he came out initially claiming he would be glad to do the job when I was ready  so later I called him  and he put us on a waiting list which was 3 months out.  I called later  about a month and a half later to check up  and he assured me  I was still on the wait list  and it would be right at one month before he promised to get to me. Well guess what  he is nothing but a lying dirtbag  who after that REFUSED to even answer our phone calls  and we left message after message  but this jerk would not even call us back! not to mention we found out his rig could not drill past 300 feet  and would have been worthless money paid  for a deeper well.we also called Fowler well drillers, Bishop well driller and Jeffords well  and NONE of them  would even answer their phones  much less call us back. You only get a voice mail!  SO unprofessional. besides a local told me that Fowler or jeffords  told him after trying to find a hole  that he was scared to drill further and packed up his equipment and left to never come back.    Back to Miller well. They always answer their phones  they make appointments  and even have contracts!  i was so relieved to find they had a contract  since that ensures that they come out and don't just jo blow you along like the others. and when they did come out  they did hit a problem  in that they had to switch from PVC to metal  and almost broke their equipment  but they did not even complain once  and stayed until they got the job done!  and they did do an excellent job  and found water  and alot of it at that!  later they came back  and put an excellent pump system in. Miller Well Drilling is an absolute must for folks living here in the Tri-state area of southwestern NC. These people are truly focused on every aspect of service - from quality installation to thorough maintenance. And, for those unfortunate emergency situations that always seem to occur when you least expect them - they come when you need them (most important of all), get the job done and do it right the first time. We've been using them since 2002 and I wouldn't trust our well to anyone else. At our previous home here, we had a spring/gravity pump system and they were outstanding in that field as well. Just wish all contractors were as conscientious and attentive to job performance as the people at Miller Well Drilling are. A must have/go to provider!! read more
