Purely a rip off. Tires are in great condition. They want me to change tires in their shop. We did not get a sticker there but paid the full price. We then went to a dealer shop. No problem. Got a sticker right away. Just went to a third shop for a re-check. The third shop said no problem for the tires, as well. I am sure you don't want to pay someone to screw you up. =========================================== Oct-07-2021 The comment was made 3 weeks ago. For some reason, the comment was made in Google but was invisible. Who knows what this crazy guy did to the post? The manager of the shop replied. He purely lied to people. My car runs great and nothing wrong with the tires. I got the stickers from big certified shops. The truth is that this manager forced me to change tires in his shop to get the inspection sticker. He has been extremely mean at me and kept lying to people even in the public space. 1. I made the appointment at 8am. You agreed the appointment. But you made me wait for 30minutes. It is not my mistake to come to your car shop on time. It is your fault to break your appointment. Shameless! 2. My tires have not problem. Multiple car shops, including Honda dealers approved my car. I got the sticker. You forced me to change tires in your shop to get a sticker. You just want to make money. My car had only run 36000miles. The tires have many miles on them. Are you kidding me? 3. You run a shop to make money. But your heart is dirty, so is your money. Try to do the right thing. Recently, one Saturday, this SUV does not start. I call AAA for a jump start. The mechanic-driver arrives 1.5 hours later and analyzes the situation: "It isn't your battery, but your fuel pump. It's failing." I learn that a fuel pump replacement for this vehicle costs between $1,000 and $1,500, including everything. On Monday I take the SUV to Tom Mayberry, owner of Mac & Sam, who further analyzes the problem. His conclusion: "The AAA mechanic-driver is crazy, and our fuel pump fine." He eventually determines the issue to be a corroded wire that needs to be replaced to deliver "full" electrical power to the fuel pump. Tom says he spent 1.5 total hours on the issue, but that includes a couple of trial runs and time for the engine to cool down after one experiment. And it is a slow day. I ask what I owe, expecting (rightfully) a bill of a few hundred dollars. His response: "Don't worry about it." That's Tom Mayberry and that's Mac & Sam; and that attitude and expert skill combo is why I keep coming back.

The job estimate for repairs was eight days. He had my car for six weeks!! I got it back with: grease stains on my rear seat, burn marks on my front mat (I don't smoke), damage to my tail pipe that I had to pay to have repaired (I was hit on the front, driver-side area), damage to my A/C control knob (luckily, my dealer fixed that under warranty) and [just noticed this kicker last night] the carpeting under my dash was cut away and not replaced but held in place with Velcro strips which have since come undone. So, I can now see the frame of my car under the dashboard area. I was referred here by my dealership and am disappointed with their suggestion and the work that was done at GNB. When I complained at the dealership, I was told they haven't had complaints during the 20+ years they've been associated. I had to pick my car up at the repair shop, they didn't send it to my dealer for final review / inspection (which I was later told is the usual process). They did a lot and spent a long time making sure everything was perfect. The entire car was clear bra'd, so they had to remove most of the clear bra in order to be able to blend all the panels correctly. Tim forwarded me pictures of a few stages during the process and let me tell you, they do their craft meticulously. From the taping of the car panels to paint blending to disassembly/reassembly, as good as a new car from the factory. And they do their paintwork right, from using slow reducers for paintwork during the hot summertime to baking the car. The paintjob is probably the thing I'm most impressed with, given the clarity and depth of the paint without a single visible blemish or overspray. I believe one of the painters there has been doing this for more than 20 years, and it shows. Tim in particular was excellent. Thorough, honest communication and always happy and available to chat by phone or text. He alone would be reason enough to bring your car to this shop. But the key phrase here is trustworthiness, which everyone I interacted with at this business exemplified. The only caveat is that, as with anything in life, it takes time to do good work. So if you need your car in and out and don't care so much about perfection, another generic body shop may suit you better. This repair shop will definitely take the time it needs to do the work properly and won't cut corners just for faster turnover. So after pretty much a month from the time I dropped off my car at Karosserie to pickup again at Euro Coachwork, I have my car back in mint condition. Definitely come check out this place for bodywork should the unfortunate situation ever arise. They have certainly earned my business and I think you'd be lucky to have them earn yours too.
