I was forced to give one star to write this review but JennIfer doesn't deserve one star! Jennifer Miller was hired to represent my brother in a divorce only because she was "such a close and amazing friend," of our sister. Jennifer was nothing but a disappointment and a TERRIBLE attorney. She was LATE to court, which resulted in sitting there for hours, all the WHILE HER BILLING HOURS WENT UP , makes you wonder if she is late on purpose , especially with the excuse she gave. Her reason for being late...."there were to many cops on the road from Seattle to Tacoma on I-5 for me to drive as fast as I usually do, so it's the cops fault I am late!!" During court Jennifer said nothing to defend my brother, even when he was accused of not paying child support during the SEPARATION, (which is not Mandatory), with 5 years of child support bank statements sitting in front of her, she said nothing, which resulting in my brother being ordered to pay higher child support than what he would have , had Jennifer actually opened her mouth to defend him!!! Jennifer was extremely intimidated by the other attorney and this fear kept her from speaking up in defense of my brother or speaking during any sort of negotiation. Which has resulted in her client paying higher child support or go back to court and pay Jennifer more money. Does she do that on purpose??? Forget about getting your emails or calls returned! Even Jennifer Miller's accounting is disorganized, she doesn't cash your check for months but will greedily send you another bill for what you just paid for! Jennifer also charges a $110 processing fee when you pay by credit card, although she neglects to inform you of this fee, it just shows up on your credit card statement. Which seems shady and dishonest! A $110 for a processing fee??? JennIfer has a very high opinion of herself and her abilities, so do not let the false provato fool you, your legal needs are too important to be left in Jennifer Miller's hands. Jenn was only hired because of her close friendship with our sister and if this is the sort of representation she gives the family member of a close and personal friend, beware beware beware!!! Jennifer has been and is still currently playing a vital role in helping me, and my family stay safe and cared for since 2015. Ms. Miller gets great results on tough family law cases like ours. We were impressed by how down to earth she was outside of the court room and how she explained concepts that were new to us with our child custody case. She made confusing legal terms and concepts make sense, was compassionate, and kept our spirits up when things were frustrating. She would make herself available after regular business hours as issues came up with visitation and other things. We don't know of many attorneys who would do that. Grat experience and Saved me a lot of money! I came to this firm to represent me with a business contract that I needed for an agreement. I have worked with other lawyers in the past and Im sure all of you know the saying.. another lawyer another.... Jen was reasonable on her fees, detailed and was very easy to work with. There were many additional suggestions she gave me that had never even crossed my mind to add into the contract and in hindsight I am glad she did because just this week one of them came in handy which if it hadn't gone into the contract would have cost me a lot of money down the road as well as time (which again in business means more money).
