I contacted Mark to do some work on a firearm of mine. He was great to work with and did an excellent job on it. I highly recommend him.

I would like to inform anyone who is considering purchasing a gun from this gunsmith;…read more There is nothing on the Coyote Cap website to prepare you for what will happen when you order a gun from him. I had a phone conversation with cap on 12/14/2010 about the last of 4 model 87s which might be available to purchase. Then on 1/13/2011 I was told (via email) serial# CC-06 00766 was mine and to "get my payment in quickly so we can ship the gun". Then I was told " we did not receive the FFL info due to a faulty fax machine, so resend the info so we can ship the gun". But the gun did not ship. 6 months of ignored emails and unanswered phone messages later I am told my gun serial# CC-06 00766 has been sold to someone else in Florida. Coyote Cap is very sorry and will make it up to me with the offer of a better gun. But the gun is long on offer and very short on delivery (big surprise right?). By 6/2012 the people that have my gun have had it a full year, 18 months in total waiting for me, and I am in worse shape than I was when I started. He originally stated there were 30 guns ahead of me, then later 50 and then 100 and by 12/15/2011 he states there are 160 guns ahead of me. Even after the colossal mistake of selling my gun out from under me, he is constantly pushing me back to the end of the line. I accused him of losing my gun, bad business practice and lying to me. Then he has the audacity to get offended when I call him on his bad behaviour. On 6/26/2012 I asked for a refund. Which to his credit, he promptly did. But I have wasted a year and half and have nothing to show for it. Bottom line: Coyote Cap is the worst businessman I have ever heard of and lives in a world of denial I can't even fit into my head. I'm sure he is a "nice guy", but this has been the worst business experience of my life. If you have read this and still do business with him, you have no one to blame but yourself.
