Cool frame store located off Mockingbird Lane. I came here looking to have several items framed,…read morebut only decided on having one done ultimately. I was considering getting a jersey framed here, but decided on someone else who specializes in jerseys instead. Otherwise, I would've likely got it done here as well, especially for the price they quoted me. The item I did have framed here was a portrait. Overall, I was left satisfied with the craftsmanship of the frame. Also, I was definitely impressed with the service and time it took to get it back to me as well!

My wife used Art & Frame Expo to have a painting framed. The result was not quality workmanship on…read morea high cost framing job. She custom ordered a 24" x 18" size frame. The finished frame was pieced together from small cuts of the same frame material. The finished product reflected seams showing in 2 places, and the color does not match at all -- see the top of the frame in the photo. She especially recommends not paying high costs for large framing at Art Expo. She spoke to the owner who was not able to guarantee this would not happen on larger frame orders either. You can expect multiple cut/seams in large framing orders as well.

I found the glass murano chandelier from a picture on Houzz and pretty much obsessed over it. I was…read moreable to locate it on Etsy to purchase. Alan Mizrahi Lighting Design is as good as it gets. They communicated promptly each time I messaged them. The initial delivery was delayed but once the day came, they were on the phone with the shipping company multiple times to nail down the time they would arrive so I wouldn't miss the delivery. They also worked with me on the pricing. We did have a professional install the chandelier because the install instructions were a little unclear to us as inexperienced people and wanted to make sure it was completely secure. I am so happy with the chandelier and have already had a friend of a friend want to purchase one as her own.

Work was fine, but they were two weeks late (had to push out my movers pick up date... tried to…read moredelay another 2 weeks but I stressed the need to have it this week). Then, tried to charge me more money bc they claimed their supplier messed up (the reason for the extra money kept changing). I actually paid it but they ended up calling me to refund it when I asked them to text me a reason for the additional payment (again, their story kept changing so I wanted a firm reason as I was splitting the cost with someone else). My guess is this is a family business. Everyone was very friendly and their work was good, but the delay, then subsequently asking me for more money without a consistent explanation, was surprising. (I wonder if they just started working on it the days before delivery and realized they didn't have the right frame and tried to off load the last minute shipping costs to me)

I brought three vintage posters to this shop a few weeks ago to get framed. During drop off, I made…read moreit very clear that these were irreplaceable, as they're originals that belonged to my mother who had recently passed away. In fact, one of the workers on staff pointed out how valuable the posters were. On the original pickup date, they called to let me know that one of the three was not done, because they were waiting for parts to come in. After an extra week of waiting, they returned the final poster with some sort of paint/putty splotched on the last print. I'm assuming they delayed getting the poster back because they were trying to repair it. My irreplaceable print was not only returned behind schedule, but is now ruined. I'm starting to wonder if this is even the original print. The contrast and coloring is off, and given the delay getting the poster back, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that they either ruined the original or sold it off.
