I was considering getting a jersey framed here, but decided on someone else who specializes in jerseys instead. I'm a professional with a lot of experience getting artwork framed and Art & Frame Expo has surpassed all of my expectations. I've had some disappointing (to say the least) surprises at other frame shops so I'm always hesitant to trust them. E.g.- Once someone cut off the deckled edge of a linocut print. Another shop decided that the wooden frame that I picked out needed to be touched up with red "accent" paint. (Neither of these choices were previously discussed with me.) Having artwork framed should be straightforward, easy, and ultimately you need to know that your items will be kept safe and that the integrity of the piece will not be compromised. So when I relocated to Dallas I took a couple of prints in to test the waters and now I fully trust Art & Frame Expo with anything! I've been going here for years. At this point I've taken well over a dozen items in for framing and I've found them to be nothing but professional. I'm always excited to work with them and trust their opinion as well. My wife used Art & Frame Expo to have a painting framed. The result was not quality workmanship on a high cost framing job. She custom ordered a 24" x 18" size frame. The finished frame was pieced together from small cuts of the same frame material. The finished product reflected seams showing in 2 places, and the color does not match at all -- see the top of the frame in the photo. She especially recommends not paying high costs for large framing at Art Expo. She spoke to the owner who was not able to guarantee this would not happen on larger frame orders either. You can expect multiple cut/seams in large framing orders as well. read more

I will not take my frameables anywhere else in the whole wide world. Christine helped us with none large vintage prints of downtown Dallas and surrounding areas. We needed them matted and framed for a law office. She did an amazing job schooling us on how to bring out the right colors to match our furniture etc. Art & Frame guarantees the lowest price in town...no gimmicks. They had the job done in a week and they wrapped them up so they wouldn't get damaged during the bumpy car ride down Greenville Ave. and Ross. I brought in two pieces of my uncle's art to frame. I am clueless about art and framing, so I asked the man at the counter for recommendations. The shop had some art for sale, and it seemed like the man who worked there was an artist (I think he had some paint on him). The shop seemed a little chaotic, but I actually liked that for some reason. Don't let that deter you. It doesn't represent to the quality and professionalism of the work, which was very high. The pieces were ready in a week, and they did a flawless job. The frames go perfectly with the pieces; I was very pleased with the selection. I've never had anything framed before, so not sure how their prices compare to others. I think it was reasonable at 50% off the second framed piece. I will certainly go back if I decide to frame something in the future. I recommended to my parents and they framed some of my uncle's art there too. read more

I was en route to D/FW Airport and needed a poster tube stat. I stopped in this place to ask if they sold them. There happened to be one lying on the counter. "I'm looking for a tube to transport a poster in," I said--"like that one there." "We don't sell them, but you can have this one," the lady said. I offered to pay for it, but she refused! Thank you, nice lady! If they're that nice and that unwilling to extort a hapless traveler on something like that, then I'm sure they're just as honest on bigger things. While initially the cost for my 11x16" frame seemed a little steep, after doing some shopping around it seems I got a fair price. Plus, It was a much more pleasant experience than going to Michaels for framing. Only downside I would say is the tiny parking lot! read more

I wish I could comment on their work, but I will never know. We waited for 30 minutes while a very needy lady couldn't make up her mind on what color frame she wanted. Then, when she was finally done and we assumed we would get service, a couple walked in behind us and the lady who worked there suddenly felt she had to see to them first. Even though she had been telling us for 30 minutes she would "be right with us in one moment". That was enough for me. We walked out, with a 10 foot X 4 foot piece that needed framing. They may do good work but the customer service is horrible. read more
