I've been to many chiropractors in the past, and many have had difficulty adjusting me due to my previous injuries from multiple car accidents, my size, and overall tightness. Dr. Miller was polite, but I believe he had a hard time adjusting me as well. I know my neck was not adjusted correctly , and he spent a considerable amount of time trying to adjust my lower back, pressing multiple times with his hand. Now, my lower back is extremely painful, and I'm debating whether to go to urgent care or reach out to a friend who is a chiropractor. This friend once told me that if he can't get an adjustment after two or three attempts, he stops. Dr. Miller kept trying several times. It was differently more then 3. This chiropractor is the best I've ever experienced and I've been to 25 chiropractors over the years. He's gotten better results for me and my husband than anybody we've ever been to. Yes they are eccentric. Yes the office is not real clean. Yes the atmosphere is a little weird but he really knows what he's doing and it works. Dr. Miller is a wonderful chiropractor. I've been a patient there for a few years now. I have back/neck pain that flares from time to time. He is the only one that has been able to help. I wish there was an option for 0 stars because this business is just awful. Went for my first treatment on a Saturday and they asked me to come back on Monday. It's really difficult for me to take time off of work and I work in North County. I asked for the latest appointment so they scheduled me for 4:15. I adjusted my work schedule and went in an hour early so I could make the appointment on time. Got there right at 4:15 after sitting in traffic to make it there on time. The door was locked when I got there. I knocked multiple times. No one answered. I looked inside and couldn't see anyone in there. I called the office three times and no one answered. I even left a message on the machine saying I was waiting outside for my 4:15 appointment. I waited around until 4:30 and no one came out or answered the door, so I finally left. Their Yelp page says they are closed on Mondays, but their website says they are open. I checked the appointment card they had given to be and it said 12/10 @ 4:15. They had also already charged me in advance for the appointment so they won't have to run my card twice and incur the fee more than once. Finally got a call back on Wednesday and the receptionist, Shirley, said they were there and I never showed up. When I told her I knocked on the door, called multiple times, and left a message saying I was outside, she said I must have been late and it was after they were closed. She basically called me a liar saying "We all make mistakes." When I told her I wanted my money back for the appointment she said I would have to come in and get it. Why, so you can waste more of my time? Don't waste your time or money on this place and their horrendous customer service. read more

Former marine here. Recommended by TriWest through the VA. So here's the story- I walk in and there's the receptionist on the phone while 2 older patrons were seated across from her window. She ignores me at first and then gives me a hand gesture to hold on. While patiently waiting as I stood by the door, she looks at me and then to some money that had been left on the counter. So get this: after she looks at me, then to the money, she removes the money from the counter and places it on her desk closer to her. I wouldn't have taken it so personally if I was the only one in the office but there were other patrons that could have taken the money so why when I walk in do you feel the need to remove the money as if I'm going to steal from you? I should probably mention that I'm black and the office is in El Cajon, which is a racist area anyway. Anyway, calling TriWest for a different referral. read more

Hi My G-friend Janet Sheldon work for Albertsons produce and does a lot of lifting and never ending moving of produce and gets a stiff back and neck with Sciatic pain where she can't almost move this has happen a few times. She'll calls Doctor Miller and he's always been able to squeeze her into his busy schedule and after he's giving her an adjustment she able to move and is no longer in pain, This Guy is an Awesome, Chiropractic Specialist!! I love Dr Miller and this office. If you are looking for someone to take control of YOUR health, he's not your guy. His style requires you to be in tune with your body enough to communicate your needs while he does what he does, which is align your bones. I prefer going to Dr. Miller because he's not a crack addict as they say in the chiropractic world, he doesn't do much manual manipulation because you don't need it. Dr. Miller is one of the best doctors that most people could ever go to. So I was looking at his reviews and was disturbed to see some very ignorant little man insulting him in such a derogatory way. He goes out of his way to help all of his patients and almost every patient of his that you speak to has nothing but wonderful things to say.
