I have two Key fobs for my car and unable to change the battery in both so I made the trip down to Hempstead (10 minutes) to get this taken care of. The gentleman at the parts counter greeted me as soon as I walked in and after a brief discussion we both realzed that we know many of the same people. Extremely friendly for our discussion... then I told him why I came in. The gentleman, Leif, was wonderful. He pulled out the new battery and within a couple of minutes it was installed. My record for coming for a service visit. The parking is a little confusing and I just parked my car in front of some of the cars that were there and told the receptionist. Absolutely one of the worst dealership experiences I have ever had. Millennium Toyota is completely unprofessional, disorganized, and, frankly, dishonest. We placed a $500 down payment on a 2024 Toyota Corolla SE (white). The deal was DONE, all that remained was the financing. On Sunday, we were told they would review the interest rate and that we should come back Monday to finalize everything and take the car home. They never called. When we followed up, we were casually told that both the salesperson and finance manager were not working that day, something they conveniently failed to mention. That alone shows how little they respect their customers' time. Then it gets even worse. On Tuesday, we were told the car had already been sold AFTER we had already put money down and reached an agreement. And yet, when we called again, we were told the SAME car was still available. So which is it? Sold or not? This is not confusion, this is misleading behavior and completely unacceptable. It honestly feels like they are playing games with customers, saying whatever is convenient in the moment to push a sale or move you onto another vehicle. What makes this even more upsetting is that this car was meant to be a birthday gift for my 17-year-old son. The dealership knew this from the beginning. We even asked them to put a bow on the car after the deal was finalized. Instead, they turned what should have been a special family moment into a stressful, frustrating, and disappointing situation. I found another truck someplace else he demanded I give him $200 deposit to to deal with him and said that it's 100% refundable, I never got my refund back. Never go to this Toyota dealer they will rip you off!!!My mother went here and they sold her a a car that has a ton of issues. We took the car to different Toyota dealer and they pretty much confirmed that the dealers employees over charged significantly for the car. We are always trying to bring the car in for repair and the car comes out worse. You can't get anyone to call you to talk about the issues on the car. They have added extra work that wasn't done at all but was recorded on the car's history. All of this was confirmed by Toyota dealer. The car that was sold to her is pretty much a hazard to drive. I would not recommend this dealership. My experience was disorganized, misleading, and at one point, downright hostile. I came in to buy a pre-owned Toyota RAV4 with under 60K miles. From the start, I was told the dealership doesn't share car prices until you pick one--an incredibly shady policy that made the process feel like a guessing game. The sales associate, Leslie, was professional. I told him from the beginning I planned to put $15K down to avoid financing too much. This was never flagged as a problem. After choosing a car, I tried negotiating price. The assistant sales manager, Vargese Matthew, said he'd only discount the car by $1,000 if I reduced my down payment to $7,500--explaining that higher financing helps their quotas. That alone felt manipulative. I reconsidered and told him I wanted to stick with my original plan. He said that was fine. But when I sat down to finalize the paperwork, I was told by Leslie and Juan (possibly the finance manager) that putting more money down was against store policy. This came out of nowhere. I felt completely blindsided but had no choice but to move forward--I'd recently been in a car accident and had little time to keep shopping. I drove off in the car, which hadn't even been cleaned. That night I noticed a loud rattling sound. I called and spoke with Mauricio, a sales manager, who arranged for a repair, a cleaning, and to fix a small scratch. The next day I arrived at service as instructed, but they had no clue what I was talking about. The service rep refused to contact sales, told me to go there myself, and accused me of having an attitude. When I expressed my frustration, he cursed at me and told me to "get the f** out" of his office.* Luckily, I am not easily intimidated and stood my ground. I reported this to Jeff, a manager in service, who was dismissive and offered no support. Thankfully, Vinny in sales took over, treated me with kindness, and made sure the issues were resolved. He was the only person who showed true professionalism. Even corporate was unhelpful--they simply redirected me to the same dealership. Bottom line: the lack of transparency, the pressure to finance more, and the absolutely unprofessional behavior I encountered make it very easy to say--I'll never come back, and I'll warn others not to as well. read more

I was there 04/28/25 for oil change after my old oil change done. I asked customer service guy who bring key for me that is okay with my car. He says yes. I drove back, and went to grocery store on the way to the grocery store. My car stop in the middle of the street. I thought my battery is dead, so I got jumpstart. It moves only hundred yard and stop again. Somebody came to help me again didn't start again Guy told me it needs new alternator. I have no choice but to my car to the Mechanic. Always been charged a bit too much for service, but this last time we got SCAMMED. They kept our car for HOURS for the 95k mile check up, and claim it took four hours to change brakes on a car that is in excellent condition, AND charged over $800 for LABOR for changing the brakes. The brakes didn't take four hours to change (it's a 1 hour job, 2 hours on a problematic car AT MOST if they are actively working on it, but even that is pushing it). They kept the car for hours while they also worked on other cars, and charged us for labor for the time the car sat there. Charging for FOUR HOURS OF LABOR for a brake change is a SCAM. Shame on you! NEVER coming back (loyal for ten years, and we are done). read more

On Saturday, December 14, 2024. I visited the dealership with the intention of purchasing a 2024 Toyota Tacoma. I was very clear with my sales associate, Eric, and the sales manager that I wanted to secure a car loan through Toyota Financial Services (TFS), specifically to take advantage of the promotional 3.99% interest rate for 48 months, given my excellent credit. However, despite my clear request to Eric and the sales manager, they proceeded to run my credit with another bank without my consent, and informed me that they will not offer me a loan through TFS. Instead, they told me I have to finance through a different bank at a much higher interest rate, above 7% If I want the truck. A rep in the financial department told me that they will not use Toyota Financial and this higher rate is being used to offset the "discount" they provided on the truck, which is incredibly disappointing and feels misleading. Eric claims that I never told him I wanted to use TFS. Now I have a hard inquiry on my credit and it went down 10 points. Thanks Eric. Update 12/18/24 Such a generic response from them, they call it a misunderstanding when I repeatedly told Eric and the sales manager in English and Spanish not to run my credit and that I wanted to use Toyota Financial for the loan. I went to the service department to have them fix a safety recall and also an issue with the software in my dashboard. I explained to the service advisor what was going on and how important my GPS is to me since my job requires travel every day. From the beginning, he brushed me and my concerns off telling me it's because I wasn't logged in to the app. I explained several times that the GPS screen in the car would go blank and takes about 20 seconds to reload and it's been happening for months and it doesn't correlate with not being logged into the app. I had a bad feeling that he wasn't taking me seriously but against my better judgment, I left the car there anyway. The car was there from 10:30 AM until 5 PM when I got back to pick it up I specifically asked him about that issue to which he told me that they fixed it and everything was fine. When I got back in the car and I looked at the service report I noticed that there was nothing noted about them checking anything with the software in the dashboard or anything pertaining to my initial concern. The only thing that was listed was that they fix the safety recall. Lo and behold I pulled off a lot and what happened.??? The screen in my car shut off again like it has been doing for months. When I called to complain, they told me that the service manager had just left and that they were gonna call me back first thing in the morning when I hadn't received a call by 11 AM. I called to inquire about what happened. She said that she confirmed with the tech that they did run a diagnostic to which I asked her well. Why isnt it noted on the work order? She said that they didn't type it up, but that they "promised her that they checked it." I asked her if as a manager, she thought that that was an acceptable answer because to me that seems like they're just lying and trying to cover their mistake. She basically brushed it off without so much as even a sincere apology. Needless to say, I will never give my business to this car dealership ever again. They don't listen to their customers and I also question the integrity of not only the technicians but of the manager if that's an acceptable answer and that's the work that she allows her employees to complete. I hope no one has to waste their time at this dealership the way that I did. read more

I've been getting service here for at least 7 years now, and it's been going downhill for a while. But after my last visit I've finally had it. I arrived early for appointment (as I always do) which was at 9am for a simple oil change and new tires. Normally if I arrive at 9am around 10am-10:30am they update me with the estimate and work. So around 11:30am I used their text system for the first time to see what was going on. That was ignored. I then found my service person around noon, and they explained the estimate and told me I'd get the car back around 3pm....well it's a few minutes to 5pm as I type this and guess who doesn't have the keys yet? That's right. I've been here for 8hrs It's been a deeply frustrating experience. But to expand on some other issues I've been coming here for years every six months. So twice a year this place finds like $1,000 worth of maintenance they want to do on my car. My car is a 2015 with less than 60,000 miles on it. Does that sound right to anyone reading this? I honestly never thought about it because I am not knowledgeable on cars and I figured I should just take care of my car so it takes care of me. But reading other reviews it seems like this place may be simply making shit up so they can up charge you on every visit. Furthermore I've ask them to do little things that have not been done correctly. But I've always let it go since it's never been that important. Back to today. Were mechanics out sick? Nothing was communicated. But in the afternoon I watched car after car come up from service completion and get piled into the parking lot to the point where they didn't seem to know where to put the cars, and several sat for over 3hrs. These are clearly cars that belong to smarter owners who didn't sit around (not that we all have a choice) and wait. My question. If they were short-staffed why wouldn't they prioritize the cars of those waiting? They always ask when you arrive if you're going to wait, or leave. So they know But again. Nothing was communicated. I was simply left to sit around for 8hrs for pretty simple work. I will now start the annoying process of finding a new place for future maintenance. But to anyone considering using this location either have someone who can take you/drop you off, or pack a lunch. Nothing to eat (nothing within walking distance) but whatever you're willing to buy out of their vending machines. Oh yea, make sure you're prepared to get overcharged too, and best part is if you want to pay by credit card that's an extra 3%. Another new policy in recent years. Also I'm with my service person another customer came in to interrupt us because they didn't rotate their tires! Also also now another person is complaining because they didn't do something about a sensor!!! It's past 5pm. I'd like to go. But this is also a bit entertaining read more

DO NOT PURCHASE A VEHICLE HERE! I've previously purchased two vehicles here, had the vehicles only serviced at this dealership and have had referred many people to this dealership, but yesterday I had an very unpleasant experience with the Sales Manager Tolu Fasan and Service Manager Jeff Merlo. When I went to pick up one of my vehicles from the service shop that I was told they would not be able to be repair my car due to the warranty being expired (which is not the issue). I came to pick up my vehicle like I was told. After an HOUR of sitting around and them not being able to find the vehicle, they tell me I have to get a "special" tow truck to pull it out of the basement of the garage and that they weren't going to cover it. I tell service manager Jeff Merlo I have myself and two other people that can push the car to the ramp in the basement and have it pulled straight out of their basement. They say it's a liability incase we hit any other vehicles which I told them we would be responsible because now I've been there for over an hour and I would like to get my vehicle and leave. All in the meantime Service Manager Jeff Merlo is giving snarky remarks telling me it's not their responsibility to take my car from out of their service shop. Sales Manager Tolu Fasan gets involved and I'm explaining the situation and how I've purchased 2 vehicles here had them serviced here the entire lives of the cars and referred many people here and has the AUDACITY to tell me to NOT to purchase any more vehicles from them and proceeds to walk away... These are the people quick to smile and take your money but when there is an issue to be resolved there is no such thing as customer service or professionalism. Both of these gentlemen acted like children and lost a loyal customer to the dealership. I and many other people will make sure to never purchase or deal with this dealership again!! read more

She was friendly and upbeat and extremely knowledgeable. We told her what we expected in a car and she showed us many options. We were very impressed. We were particularly happy with Toyota's safety features. We took a couple of cars for a test drive and loved the way the cars handled. Jennifer offered us a deal That we could not refuse. Absolutely disgusting service from Stephanie Rivera, Assistant service manager. Came in for a simple tire rotation and left 2 hours later with NO service done. Instead, she THREW my keys on the floor and broke them without any regard while this dealership STOLE my floor mats. On multiple occasions with many customers including myself, this "manager" wasted our time while her employees were smoking vapes on their phones. Let's start with the positive, our sales representative, Kilma, was amazing. She was positive, high energy, sincere and communicated the good, the bad, the ugly. Ask for Kilma. The ugly is indeed ugly. The manager was rude. After spending two hours to get a deal. He sat us down and started asking us questions that have already been asked and answered, several times over. I get it. It's his job. I finally said to him, "You are making this too arduous. I cannot do this anymore. I gave your team the answers several times. Go to them. You are draining me." He said, " I guess you don't want the car and walked away. We walked away / drove a way. Fifteen minutes later our sales representative called. I told her, "We had a deal until your sales manager started acting like an @ss. We agreed to comeback so long as when we were there, we would never see this individual's face. We came back. He stayed in hiding. Kilma was great. The rest of the process was like dealing with snake oil salespeople form the 1930's. Every car salesperson stereotype was brought to life in real time.
