Come for the history and stay for a proper pub experience. It's definitely worth the trouble of seeking this one out.

Large halibut fillets w/ fries, wrapped in newspaper, toss a little red wine vinegar (Americans prefer tartar but I'm all about the vinegar) and you're good to go. We went here twice over 4 days, because after the 1st visit we were craving it again. I even had Fish and Chips in London a few days later - - it fell way short compared to what I got here.
