Well, the table immediately knocked about 3 stars off the table, but thankfully they did move us to a different table after we complained (which was good because the food we ordered did not fit on our table and we had to monopolize the next one, which they evidently didn't need, so the whole "Sorry, the restaurant is fully booked" argument is moot). There also seemed to be a recurring theme in Oxford restaurants- people were working totally flat out and they need at least 1 if not 2 extra wait staff. Our guy was polite enough, and definitely trying hard to be a good host- though we suspect that he was extremely worried about not being tipped after the table fiasco. Anyways, onto the food. The Oysters were very good and the mix grill was perfectly fine. The Lobster was very firm in the way that I suspect it might have been frozen (In a SEAFOOD specialist?!?) and well the prawns- tesco's won hands down. As the restaurant was popular with families and had a high ceiling; it was extremely echo-y and we left slightly traumatised with our seafood experience.
