We love our old cabinets and also cannot afford a full remodel, but I desperately wanted a dishwasher in our condo. Rebecca was very quick to respond to my inquiry and gave me an excellent quote for the work. Her electrician, Juan, was out here the next day to do the electrical work. We discussed my options and then he rerouted and extended the whip that had once been for a garbage disposal into the cabinet closest to where the cutout would be made for the dishwasher. He was quick and did great work at a fair price. Rebecca came in the following week, and began the labor of cutting into our wooden cabinets to make the pocket for the dishwasher. She installed panels on either side of the dishwasher and cut down our old shelves before securing them back in the lower cabinets so we didn't lose functionality. She also made sure the dishwasher was recessed enough that we could still access our kitchen drawers. We had gotten some supplies and she was able to get the rest, for which we received all receipts and were able to reimburse her. She also replaced the drain when the seal for the old corroded one crumbled, and also agreed to replace our kitchen faucet (we got the one we wanted and she put it in for us). We are so grateful for the beautiful, solid, safe work Rebecca and Juan did and are thrilled to have the dishwasher we wanted while maintaining the functionality and look of our kitchen.

When I decided it needed an update, I went back to Tithof, because they had done such a good job the first time. I was not disappointed! Beginning with the product selection process in Northbrook right down to the final clean-up after the installation, everything was done efficiently and professionally. Rayna helped me with the product selection. She was knowledgable and responded to my requests in a timely manner. She was also very pleasant and very nice to work with. Brett did the measuring. He, also, was very professsional, answered my questions, and made some good suggestions. The installers were great, too. They worked quickly and carefully, and did a very nice job of clean up. The final result is beautiful, and I am very happy with it.

I got a very good feeling for this company right away. A gentleman came to take a look at my granite. He said he wasn't too hopeful about the stain being removed. He put something on it that he left overnight. When he came back the next day and took the material off, the stain was still there. Then he cleaned the granite and resealed the granite. A few hours later when I returned from an appointment, I was happy to see that my granite was perfect! The stain was completely gone. I am so happy. And as an aside, the gentleman's name was Bob and he was a very nice man. Thank you! Happy

I received a recommendation to check out Artisan Stoneworks from Tile Outlet on Fullerton…read more Initially I was looking for some marble remnants for three bathroom vanities as well as a matching shower threshold and bench top. I walked in unannounced and was quickly shown the vast selection they have. I picked out 2 similar looking white marble slabs and was told to contact the owner, Ray for pricing. Ray responses very quickly to texts (not necessarily voicemails, so keep that in mind) and I was given a very reasonable quote. My bathroom vanities weren't yet installed, so they graciously agreed to hold my slabs so that no one else could purchase (with a payment deposit). When the vanities were ready, their guys were out within 1-2 days to measure and install within another 1-2 days (super quick turnaround as compared to other stone installers I've used in the past). I'm not new to remodeling (this is my 4th large-scale remodel project), so I have experienced the spectrum of stone fabrication and installation quality. Artisan's work was so nice that I asked them for a quote to do my kitchen. There was a new porcelain-like product that I wanted to use in the kitchen due to the indestructibility / stain features it allows - I've got 2 small kids and a messy hubby so I didn't want to worry about cleaning up after every mess. I had asked around to some other stone fabricators I've used in the past, but no one had previously worked with the product or was willing to do so. Again, I reached out to Ray and his guys came out right away to measure and gave me a quote utilizing this new product (which they had previously worked with). He gave me a fair quote, however noted that due the thickness (or rather thinness) of the material, the labor required to miter edges was high. He suggested I take a look at some of the new quartzes that have a similar look and durability but offer standard 3cm thickness which equates to less labor. I followed his recommendation and went to the supplier he suggested and found a quartz that looked exactly like the porcelain product I originally wanted. The quote was more reasonable and the end-result looks just like calcutta gold marble - the look I was trying to replicate. I should note that I had Artisan install the quartz as a backsplash in addition to the countertops. They did a great job matching up veining between the counter and backsplash to create a super high-end look. Additionally, I had some extra quartz material and Ray was nice enough to cut and install on my fireplace surround for no additional cost. All in all, I'm extremely happy to have Ray / Artisan Stoneworks in my rolodex for future projects and highly recommend them to others.

My remodel project began several months ago with an idea I had to turn my laundry area from an eye-sore to a clean open space. My first thoughts were to have a barn door installed to enclose the entire area. But as I played around with various room design apps, I realized a barn door would close off a lot of space. Once I created a general image via image editing apps, I sent out several requests for quotes on Yelp. Many of the requests wanted me to call them so they could come give me a quote. None of them gave me much to go on unless I would agree to an appointment. From the beginning, Matt was different. He was personable and asked additional questions to be able to answer my questions the best he could without me having to commit to a future appointment. He responded immediately and offered a few options for me regarding next steps. He was very knowledgeable and did not have a pushy approach. For these reasons, I decided to move forward with Vision Remodelers. After I had Matt come by to give me a more accurate quote other than him just going by the image I created, I hired Matt to begin this project. Matt and his crew were exceptional while they completed my remodel. They were professional, polite, & timely. His workers even took the time to have my spoiled, skittish dog warm up to them! My only regret is that I didn't meet Matt & team months before to do all my home projects/renovations! With the utmost confidence, I would gladly recommend Vision Remodelers for any home project! This company is a 5-star company across the board!!
