I recently found it I'm my deep freezer two months later and thawed it, seasoned it with sea salt and fresh pepper and grilled it. I am a private chef I should know a great cut of meat. I've been to various markets in Hicksville, Northport Village, and they can be kind of hit or miss and quirky to say the least. We all know why *rolls eyes* The produce selection is okay, not amazing. But they had everything I needed. One thing I do like about Lidl is the limited-time, well-priced specials. Especially cheese and sauces. They sometimes have very unique cheeses and other items. Currently, they have glow-in-the-dark Oreo cookies, Tate's pumpkin spice cookies, and pumpkin and caramel Oui yogurt. I can't eat the cookies, and the yogurt is fattening, but it was fun to see them. Lidl also sells odd assortments of ugly clothes and shoes, and occasionally useful housewares. I bought an emergency iron for $18! The box was open and damaged, but the iron works well. Service is mostly friendly. There don't seem to be many employees. The store is very bright, which is excellent for examining produce for spots, and they also have plants at much lower prices than King Kullen. I bought two African violets for $2.99 each! I hope things have changed, but based on my experience, and seeing that Larry is still the owner, I'm sure it hasn't. This was a difficult and disrespectful place to work.
