He answered all my questions quickly and fully while we were trying to make our decision! A couple weeks later when we finally made up our mind on the items we wanted him to do, he was responsive and realistic with his schedule. His price was the best so waiting a couple months was totally worth it! Sang and his team did a 60ft long retaining wall with steps for us, as well as leveled out the terrace on either side of the wall! The team came early, worked hard and got everything done when they said for the price they said. They left the yard and driveway clean! They were very nice and worked with us to help us get the sprinkler in to both levels behind the wall. They gave great recommendations for what to do with the yard and the wall during the process! If we ever need to landscape again or anyone needs a recommendation, Sam's Landscaping will be our first call and we would wait for them for sure!

No Sprinkler Service for you!…read more I see their trucks around town all the time, so I decided to give Sam's a try. We had a minor sprinkler repair situation. My husband decided to work from home on the day, three days after we made the appointment. They scheduled for 8am. At 9am, the guy texted to say he was running late. He showed up at 10:15 and took a look. Very quickly said some PVC is broken. It would be $500 to repair and take 3-4 hours. We agreed (at first) and he said someone would start at 11:30. After considering, $500 seemed high. They would have to dig an 18" by 18" hole (which my unskilled husband later did in an hour) and replace or glue a $25 pipe. We asked about the timing and price, offering $300. He said he can't do that and had already booked another job anyhow. I suspect Sam's might be more responsive and professional for bigger jobs. It's too bad. We plan to redo the landscaping, hardscaping, and replace the sidewalks and patio this year. Sam's seemed like a good outfit for the bigger job, so we tried this test run. Because of this subpar experience, we'll be hiring someone else.

When he fertilized my lawn, instead of applying fertilizer only to the grass, he drove the fertilizer spreader all over my new concrete walkways, leaving dozens of ugly rust stains everywhere. I have spent hundreds of dollars on power washing and other attempts to resolve it and such attempts have made the problem worse, so I now have rust + discoloration all over my walkways, which is a major eyesore. It will cost me many thousands of dollars to fix this problem that Dan caused, since I will need to rip out and reinstall 3 new concrete pathways and a giant patio. Dan's response was extremely disappointing, he did not take responsibility and there was 0 concern or effort to fix the problem. I would caution against using Dan if you want someone who is thoughtful and careful on your property. I hope this review will ensure this doesn't happen to anyone else.

When we moved into our new to us home, the backyard needed a lot of work. We wanted to get it…read morecleaned up as much as possible while being mindful of a budget. Teo was able to recycle a lot of material in our back yard to help bring the price around $5k cheaper than the next best offer. Now when the price is that good, some might expect poor work or follow through. That wasn't the case. The job took a bit longer than expected but Teo was great at communicating if he was going to be back in 1-2 days so he could fulfill smaller projects which I was fine with, especially for the price he saved us. After he laid the sod we did have a couple areas die and Teo came back twice to patch the areas of concern and even patched areas we were not concerned about and changed sprinkler heads to make it more efficient for us. Again, when the price is that good some people might expect to pay the contractor and never see them again but that's not the case. Having a company that follows through and comes back to make things "perfect" is all you can ask for, and him working with us to recycle a lot of material and save us $ made it all worth it. The concrete he added in the front also turned out great. Definitely call to get work done by them if you are on a budget and don't want to worry about half asked jobs. Also if you are wondering why one area is left as dirt, we asked him to leave it like that so we can DIY a garden

They worked 3 full days in a row, completed the project, and cleaned up after. This experience was so appreciated as I have very low expectations of contract work on my house due to prior experiences. I give them the highest of ratings.
