Fernando took the time to protect my grass from the back and forth of removing the concrete he excavated and was very careful around all the various delicate obstacles (valve boxes, wiring, irrigation, etc). My house is highly secure, and to that end I have cameras covering every square inch of it - and it was really fun to pull them up from time to time to see how the job was progressing and watch how he was able to surgically remove concrete attached to the house with a piece of heavy equipment without a single chip of the house going with it. Our large back patio was subsiding on the east edge and had developed a large crack near the center of the slab that ran from front to back. Last year, we took three bids, chose the middle-priced one, and contracted with a urethane-injection company. They were courteous and prompt but did not manage to restore the sagging part of the slab to its original position. In fact, there was no visible improvement at all. Despite the failure, they insisted upon payment, claiming that at least there would be no more subsidence. Predictably, a few months later, we noted additional sinking. In response to my complaints and after far too much cajoling, the representative came back out, said there wasn't anything more he could do, and refused even my generous offer to split the cost in lieu of the full refund to which I thought I was entitled. We decided to take bids on full replacement of the patio, which turned out to be jaw-droppingly large. We decided to try one more time to jack the sinking half of the patio. I found AAA Concrete Raising on Yelp and contacted Trevor. He came out to have a look, submitted a very reasonable bid, and even followed up with me when life's typical distractions delayed my response to his bid. During this follow-up call, I had the opportunity to discuss my misgivings because of my previous experience. "What do we do if it doesn't work," I asked. Trevor patiently and graciously explained that he had confidence he could do the job and that we could work out something fair for his time and materials if I wasn't satisfied. That was good enough for me and we agreed on a time-frame in which the work would be done. As he had promised, Trevor called the day before to let us know that he'd be out the following day and even gave us a 2-hour window during which his crew would arrive. They arrived as scheduled and did a truly amazing job. They were able to jack the sagging half of the patio to its original position, nearly close the large center crack, and even leveled an adjacent, separate staircase pad so that there wouldn't be any tripping hazard between the two concrete sections - all for the original amount of the bid. We're thrilled with the results and AAA saved us the substantial cost of a new patio. If you've got some concrete that needs lifting, don't hesitate: just call Trevor. You won't regret it.

After it was taken over by weeds and dug up by our schnauzer a few too many times, it was time to do it right. Cody came out for an estimate and design consultation. He is such a great guy who explains how it all works, gives you a reasonable number of options (helpful for me to not have information overload), and gets things moving. And for the work itself, these guys work hard and nonstop when the job begins. They show up on time and work full speed from morning until evening to get the job done. They build the patios in ways that work for Colorado weather, and they actually specialize in pavers, instead of a landscape company that doesn't do these types of patios nonstop. Paver patios are not cheap, but they're also not something you should do on your own unless you absolutely know what you're doing. If you're looking at redoing your outdoor space or patio, you should absolutely give these guys a look.

Our assigned project manager, Jeremy, was friendly and very professional, had insurance and license info ready at hand when asked, produced a reasonable quote, and did great follow up. The work crew, Freddy and Rigo, were absolutely fabulous.... Neatly and properly dressed, super courtesy while quietly working with the least amount of noise possible, never yelling or blasting music or slamming things around, and they were industrious throughout the day despite the 100 degree heat. These guys were very respectful of the property, demonstrated attention to detail in their work: measuring twice, using levels to make the wall perfect, were careful when moving equipment and product, and when using tools/machinery. They also cleaned up the job site... cleaner than when they first arrived! They didn't damage any plants, and left not a trace of their presence. With other companies and contractors, I have found water bottle caps, candy wrappers, cigarette butts, trampled flowers, bark kicked out on sidewalks, manufacturer stickers/labels laying around from products used or installed, nails or stains left on various surfaces; but this crew of Little Guy Pavers was just the opposite, and just excellent!
